A route for a crafter on low rates: which monsters drop or give by spoil each of the 25 recipes for crafting resources, in the order convenient for levelling, and how to spoil a recipe from a monster 30+ with a level 1 spoil.
This guide on spoiling the recipes for crafting resources is written for the Interlude chronicle. If you play on the High Five chronicle, you do not need to knock anything out: all the recipes are sold in Rune by the NPC Hedinger next to the smithy.
After I posted the very first version of getting the recipes for resources, remarks started coming to me, like: in the rift you can spoil the recipe for crafted leather, and I do not have it written. I draw your attention to the fact that the guide was written precisely for crafters, that is, how to get all the recipes without resorting to anybody's help. And even if we had a spoiler of our own, what fool would go to the rift at level 30+ at the opening of a server practically without a buff? By the way, the complaints were made by people who play on some server with 48 buff slots and an NPC buffer. People, this guide is written for those who play on low rates and without an NPC buffer. And on x100500 all this is obtained in 10 minutes without any guides.
So once more: a guide for crafters; one of the variants is described, the one most convenient for me, and you can go another way. The guide does not list ALL the mobs with the drop and spoil; it shows the way that is, from my point of view, more convenient. The guide is divided into two parts: the first is when we can spoil mobs and they still spoil normally, that is, roughly up to level 20+; in the second we already have to think something up, since after the first profession of a crafter our spoil skill no longer rises.
And yes, many do not use this, but the spoiler has craft too; it is only of the first level, of course, but some resources can be crafted, those whose recipes are level 1. These are
Braided Hemp,
Coarse Bone Powder,
Cokes,
Leather and
Steel. Feel free to learn these recipes with the spoiler and, in between running after mobs, re-craft tons of starting resources.
Up to level 20: while spoil still lands
First of all, right after the buff at level 5-6, we go to the starting village of the humans, go out through the upper gate, turn sharply left and run past the frogs across the little bridge; our first goal is two recipes. Why there? Because we do not have the spoil skill yet and can only knock recipes out as drop.
Recipe: Coarse Bone Powder (100%). We knock it out of Goblin Scout (level 8). If you did not manage to get this recipe as drop, then at level 11 we go out of the dwarven village through the far gate and go down the serpentine road for a long time until we see the mobs Utuku Orc Archer, and spoil this recipe from them. In the same place we spoil the recipe for steel from the mob Garum Werewolf.
Recipe: Braided Hemp. As soon as we get level 11, we learn spoil and sweep and spoil the same Goblin Scout. Once it is spoiled, we run to spoil the recipes for steel and coarse bone powder from the mobs I wrote about above. Somewhere by level 13-14 you will have all three recipes, and we move on to the orc village.
Recipe: Steel. Near the orc village we look for the mob Evil Eye (level 10); there are many of them on the Immortal Plateau, Northern Region. The recipe drops without problems. Or see the alternative spoil variant above. It is even preferable to return to the dwarves, since there it is spoil and here only drop, and on x1 it is quite possible that the coarse bone powder recipe will not drop from the goblins and you will have to spoil it too.
Recipe: Leather. Right there, a little lower on the map, it is spoiled from Rakeclaw Imp Chieftain (level 10). There is an alternative mob near the elven village, Kaboo Orc of level 6, but I do not mention it, first because it is out of the way, and second because we get the spoil skill only at level 10, and to learn it together with sweep you need level 11 at all, so that there is enough SP, and by that time we will have a big penalty on spoiling a level 6 mob, so that is not our way.- We return to the orc village and teleport to the Cave of Trials.
Recipe: Compound Braid. In the very first room it is spoiled from Scarlet Salamander (level 17).
Recipe: Steel Mold. Drop from Scarlet Salamander Elder (level 18), in the same place. Did not drop? At level 20 we drop in to Dion: behind the temple stands the mob Enku Orc Shaman, and we spoil it from that.
Recipe: Cokes. In the next room it is spoiled from Kuruka Ratman (level 16). There is an alternative here: when you run out of the orc village for the leather recipe, the mobs Rakeclaw Imp Hunter of level 7 stand down in the clearing, and this recipe is spoiled from them too, but with a worse chance.- Next we teleport to the village of either the light or the dark elves, and from there to The Neutral Zone.
Recipe: Synthetic Cokes. Spoil from Moonstone Beast (level 17), drop from Lycanthrope (level 20). If you run around near the dwarven village, you may meet there the mob Whinstone Golem of level 14; this recipe is spoiled from it too.
Recipe: High Grade Suede. Spoil from Lycanthrope.
Recipe: Cord. From the spider Arachnid Tracker (level 19). These spiders stand in 4 different locations, including the Orc Barracks, where we will be a little later; you can spoil it both here and there.
Recipe: Varnish of Purity. We cross the right, light bridge (in practice it turned out that some players cannot figure out which bridge this is; I explain: when you teleport to the neutral zone, look at the map at once: there will be two paths; one, with a dark iron bridge, leads to the necropolises, and we do not need it yet, while the second, with a light bridge, leads to the locations of the light elves; that is the one), and look for Lirein Elder (level 19): spoil.- We move to Gludin Village.
Recipe: Silver Mold. Teleport to the Orc Barracks; it is spoiled from the mob Ratman Hunter (level 18), a little above the Oracle of Dawn on the map; in the same place the Cord recipe is spoiled from the spiders, and the recipe for D soulshots (
Recipe: Soulshot: D-Grade) from the bees, Giant Poison Bee.
Now you can rest until level 30, and then we will continue.
After level 30: spoil with a level 1 skill
Next we have to master one little trick, namely: how to spoil a recipe from a mob of level 30+ if the crafter's spoil skill has remained at the first level? It is all very simple: we come up to the mob, take off the weapon and dully spoil, chewing healing potions; on the 10th-20th try the spoil will land without fail. On x10 this is not relevant even at the start, but if you began playing on x1, it is quite a method. Though of course, if we are true crafters, we have a heap of spoilers and can use them. But if you insist that there can be only one character, and it is a crafter, you can try spoiling yourself too. Quite recently, equipping a new crafter girl with recipes, I checked it repeatedly on mobs of levels 30-50+ and was not left without recipes. The main thing is that the mob should match your level.
Recipe: Blacksmith's frame. Teleport to the Cruma Marshlands, go round the tower on the left side and spoil Marsh Stakato Soldier (level 33) in the way described above. Though you can teleport straight to the Cruma Tower: we come out of the tower and go right at once, past the dwarf NPC, and the mobs will be nearby. If you still did not manage to spoil this recipe, it can be knocked out later from the mobs Nos or Pageos.- We fly over to The Ant Nest, the teleport is from Gludio. You can enter from the side of the Wasteland, which is even preferable: the mobs will be closer from there.
Recipe: Artisan's frame. Spoil from Tyrant (level 35). This point can be skipped: at level 40 there will be one more mob with this spoil.
Recipe: Metallic Fiber. Spoil from Ant Warrior Captain (level 36), a solitary ant right here. Several such mobs stand on the surface, and you have to run around looking for them; if you do not feel like it, we go down into the Ant Nest cave and walk along the right wall. You will reach a room with many ants, among which only the needed mobs will be aggressive; lead them out into the corridor and spoil calmly.- We move to Giran, to everybody's beloved Dragon Valley; from the teleport we run to the left, towards Death Pass.
Recipe: Crafted Leather. Drop from Guardian Basilisk (level 36); be ready to spend 2-3 levels at this occupation. You can go to the Beehive for the mob Wasp Leader, but first, we would stray from our way, and second, the mobs there are inconvenient, though with a normal buff and a pike you can run about. It was precisely at this place that some people scolded me for not stating the spoil from a mob in the rift. Well, well, call me when on a low rate you go to the rift with the first character on the server, and I will laugh together with you. And yes, on the C3 chronicle this recipe for some reason drops from the mob Dire Wyrm, and with a good chance, but that is only on C3.
Recipe: Mithril Alloy. In the same place it is spoiled from Windsus (level 39). In general there is a heap of mobs with the spoil of this recipe, but we do everything compactly, so we spoil here.
Recipe: Durable Metal Plate(100%). In the same place it drops from Grandis (level 40). This is exactly the mob I wrote about above: the recipe for the Artisan's frame is spoiled from it as well, and if you did not run to the Tyrants, you can spoil here.
Recipe: Oriharukon. In the same place it is spoiled from Fettered Soul (level 38).- After all this we teleport to Heine and go to Alligator Island.
Recipe: Metal Hardener (100%). Spoil from Alligator (level 40), the little crocodiles. - Then we teleport to Hunters Village and from there to The Forest of Mirrors; as soon as we are in the forest, we turn our back to the river and go right; there will be a path and a rise on the left. We climb forward over this rise, and the needed mobs will be behind it.
Recipe: Metallic Thread(100%). Drop from Taik Orc (level 40); arm yourself with patience. There is also the mob Noble Ant Leader in the Ant Nest with the drop of this recipe, but it is really inconvenient there: a heap of aggressive mobs, and all social to each other besides. - Only four recipes are left; we go for them starting somewhere from level 45. Our way lies to the Ivory Tower: from the tower up the map, and having stepped off the bridge we turn north-west. It will be between the Ivory Tower Crater and the Outlaw Forest.
Recipe: Maestro Mold. Spoil from Tarlk Bugbear High Warrior (level 49); as soon as we get the recipe, we go a little further and jump down to the basilisks.
Recipe: Maestro Holder. Spoil from Tarlk Basilisk (level 50), drop from Elder Tarlk Basilisk (level 51).
Recipe: Maestro Anvil Lock. Drop from Elder Tarlk Basilisk (level 51). If you do not need to do anything here except this recipe (it is just that I also spoil white healing potions here and knock out other recipes), we quickly run to the location War-Torn Plains and spoil the mob Hatar Hanishee (level 49).
Recipe: Craftsman Mold. And the last recipe for resources is spoiled from the mob everybody knows, Doom Knight (level 65), in the Seal of Shilen (The Forbidden Gateway) or the Fields of Massacre near Aden.
I hope I have helped beginner crafters.
