How a spoiler earns on resources: Stone of Purity from level 20 to 76

A route for a single spoiler on low rates: which seeds and macros to prepare, why Stone of Purity is the resource to hunt, and where to spoil it at each level, from the Forgotten Temple to the Wall of Argos.

I am not one to fixate on a single thing, all the more because I have a heap of both crafters and spoilers of different levels; but if you have decided to keep a single spoiler and earn a little on it, namely on the spoil of resources, I will tell you how to do it most effectively.

What do we need to know about spoilers? First, the passing of all the professions. Second, keep at hand the list Spoil of resources: what each resource is for: I will tell you which mobs and which resources to spoil, but the list will come in handy too. Third, some of the basic resources are better re-crafted into more complex ones and only then sold; it will be more profitable that way. Fourth, you need to get acquainted with such a thing as the All about manor: sowing, harvesting and handing in crops. The manor combines very well with spoil, and from the manor we get a large amount of resources, which we then sell. You will only have to write macros so that everything is convenient.

When you get the skill Spoil, the first thing to do is to spoil the recipes for crafting resources, especially those of the first level, and those are Braided Hemp, Coarse Bone Powder, Cokes, Leather and Steel. They are needed because spoilers have craft too; it is of course only of the first level, but it lets us add these recipes to the craft book, and we too will be able to re-craft something when necessary.

Further on, our actions depend on what server you play on. If it is a server with high rates (x50-x100), we fly straight to Giran and carefully look over the market for the prices of resources. It always happens that some resource (or several) costs enough to earn precisely on it. We study the market, find the needed resource, look up where and from whom it is spoiled, spoil it, sell it, get a lot of money and stock up on B grade in the shop. That is all; players of high-rate servers may read no further. They have one road from here: the spoil of A grade, craft, the clan, the subclass quest, the noblesse quest. But if you play on low rates, everything will be much harder.

Seeds and macros

We start as soon as we have learnt the skills Spoil and Sweep. First of all we stock up on seeds for the manor. We take all the small seeds for which there is enough adena. The most important at small levels are Blue Coda (the second reward is Crafted Leather), Chilly Coda (the second reward is Oriharukon Ore), Dark Coda (the second reward is Braided Hemp; you do not need many of these: once you get a few thousand resources you can stop) and Red Coda (the second reward is Cokes, the first Varnish); that is all for now, and when you take the first profession you can buy the 20+ seeds. Remember that only its own seeds suit each region, so do not stock up on many seeds in one town: they may simply be left over.

We put on the quick panel the skills Spoil and Sweep, the seeds and the harvester for gathering the fruits. We put all that into macros by dragging from the panel into the macro lines. The first macro will be for sowing the seed and spoiling. Precisely in that order, because the mobs do not aggro at the sowing of seeds but do aggro at the spoil. You have to watch whether the sowing and the spoil have landed: look in the system chat, everything will be written there. Switch off the damage to mobs in the system chat: it is of no interest to us, and the lines with it will run very fast, so you may not always notice the landing of the spoil or the sowing of the seeds.

The second macro will be for pulling the fruits out of the mobs and for pulling out the spoil. Precisely in that order, because after the spoil is pulled out the mob disappears at once, and you will no longer be able to pull the manor out of it. There will be a few nuances: for example, if the spoil has landed but the seed has not been sown, you will have to press the sowing separately once more; but you will get used in time to how exactly to act. And remember: if you use the manor on a mob, there will be no drop from it any more, so you have to see what matters more to you, the manor or the drop. At low levels this is not critical, and further on I will write which mobs can be manored together with the spoil and which should not be.

Why Stone of Purity

Now we decide where and which resources we will spoil. When you looked through the list of resource crafts and the list of the manor, you surely noticed that the only resource that is neither crafted nor grown by the manor is the Stones of Purity. So from this moment, and until you get tired of it all, we will have one task: the spoil of Stone of Purity. Stones of Purity are the most sought-after resource, and it is not only that they are used in crafting Varnish of Purity; the main thing is that they are needed for making duals out of swords, and for the top B duals Samurai Long Sword*Samurai Long Sword as many as 500 of them are needed. And this will be the main item of our sales. Spoil 500 stones, make the top B duals, sell them. And they will be bought from you like hot cakes, since a top B weapon is needed for passing the quest Fate's Whisper.

Where to spoil at each level

While you are quite small, I recommend simply practising spoil and manor, running over the mobs with the spoil of recipes for resources; you will get used to it and understand everything in the process. After getting the first profession you can take up the stones. If you have a normal buff (a Prophet, a Shillien Elder with vampiric, a Bladedancer), you can go to the Forgotten Temple, to the water part of the dungeon. We start from the first room: the mobs there are x2, the levelling is fine and the manor is good. Even some D-grade boots are spoiled from the mobs there. Or you can start from the location Crypts of Disgrace: there are the mobs Grave Robber Ranger (spoil of steel and of mithril ore) and Grave Robber Scout (spoil of oriharukon ore and of Braided Hemp).

As soon as you level up to about 28, go to the fourth room of the Forgotten Temple, where the mobs Sentinel Of Water will be. Look carefully at their spoil: there are two identical mobs with different spoil. But in the room I am talking about all these mobs have the spoil of stones. Sometimes they cancel, but that is not terrible. We spoil stones here up to level 35, and along the way grab the mobs Kanil Succubus, since they have the spoil of D-grade weapon scrolls and of high grade suede. All these mobs can be manored boldly; true, low D-grade weapons and armor drop from them from time to time, but we do not need those.

Starting from level 35 we move to the The Pilgrim's Necropolis, to the mob Vault Sentinel (a good spoil of stones and an almost 100% spoil of varnish). Along the way you will collect seal stones for exchange into ancient adena; we will need it to get the Samurai Longsword for the duals from the Blacksmith of Mammon. You can manor here too. After taking the second profession we move to the Catacomb of the Branded, to the mobs Gigant Confessor and Lith Shaman: both give the spoil of stones and a good spoil of coarse bone powder. I do not recommend the manor here, since keys for top D weapons and recipes for C shots for fighters drop excellently from the mobs, and they may come in handy.

At level 44, if you are tired of the catacombs, you can move to the location Timak Orc Outpost, to the mobs Timak Orc Shaman. The mobs should not be manored here: the amulet Amulet: Chant of Vampire may drop from the shaman, and it can be sold dearly. Expensive amulets drop from all the orcs there, so stock up on them to the brim. At level 50 our way lies to the location Pavel Ruins, the mob Spelunking Ant. Besides stones, the mob has the spoil of the Greater Healing Potion and of the Greater Dye of STR, all very needed. If you do not need tons of keys for low C jewelry, the mob can be manored.

At level 52 we move to the The Enchanted Valley, to the upper tier, to the mob Liele Elder; it is the only aggressive one there, and it can be calmly pulled out of the crowd of mobs. Besides stones, the mob has the spoil of the Greater Healing Potion and of the Greater Dye of MEN, also all very needed. You can manor after you knock out of the mob a few books each for Haste and Blessed Soul.

And then comes a big gap in mobs. The thing is that in the game very few resources are spoiled from mobs of 55+ up to somewhere in the middle 60s, not only stones but in general. So you can sit in the Enchanted Valley up to about level 55, levelling and knocking out all sorts of books (resources are spoiled from other mobs there too), and at level 55 you should move to the location Frozen Labyrinth and spoil coarse bone powder from the mob Elder Lost Watcher. It also gives an excellent spoil of bones and of the blue mold. The bones can be re-crafted into powder at once. You can run here up to level 61: all the mobs are tasty, all with excellent spoil, nobody needs to be manored, and the drop from them is tasty too, including various rare books. Pay attention to the mob Lost Gargoyle: it gives the spoil of asofe and of oriharukon ore.

After level 61 you can already move to the location Beast Farm; before going there it is desirable to study carefully the description of the location and how everything is done and spoiled there. Since we are hunting for stones, we need the mob Alpen Bandersnatch. On every little glade stands one such mob. There is no sense in running between the glades: as soon as you have farmed the mob, feed the animal standing nearby; by the time you fatten it to the needed stage and spoil it, the wolf will respawn. When you raise your level you can move to the water tower, where the mob Raider of Pastureland of level 68 stands: it gives the spoil of the blue mold and of the yellow mold, and also the spoil of keys for the Dark Crystal boots. The mob can be manored; there is nothing interesting in its drop.

We sit on the farm up to about level 70, then move to the location Wall of Argos, to the mob Eye of Watchman: an excellent spoil of stones, and also the spoil of the blue mold and of A-grade weapon scrolls. The mob must in no case be manored, since the rare recipe for crafting the Majestic boots may drop from it. You can stay here right up to the third profession; or, if you need to farm the alliance for the profession, we move to the Varka Silenos Stronghold, to the mob Varka Silenos Scout, from which the blue mold is spoiled as well. It can be manored.

Do not forget to make the top B duals from time to time and put them up for sale; if a surplus of stones piles up, you can either sell them or craft varnish of purity and then mithril alloy, and sell everything else you have spoiled besides. That is actually all I wanted to tell you about how to earn on the spoil of resources, and that is only on the Stone of Purity. You can combine your spoil as you like. And do not forget about the manor: it has to be not only gathered but also handed in.
