Magical Power of Water - Part 1

Magical Power of Water - Part 1 is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 74–80. It starts with Wahkan in Ketra Orc Outpost.

Ketra's Messenger Wahkan assigns to you the mission to steal the source of magical power possessed by the shaman of Varka Silenos, the enemy of Ketra Orcs.

Magical Power of Water - Part 1 walkthrough

The quest Magical Power of Water consists of two parts: for those who do the third profession it is enough to do the first part and get Divine Stone of Wisdom, and those who want to farm the raid boss Soul of Water Ashutar have to take the second part too (Magical Power of Water - Part 2). The first part is taken from level 74 from Wahkan, who stands at the teleport in Ketra. You must have the alliance with Ketra of level 2.

  1. Ketra Orc Outpost (teleport from Town of Goddard). Take the quest from Ketra's Messenger Wahkan.

  2. Ketra Orc Village. Talk to Soul Guide Asefa.

    Wahkan sends you to Asefa, who stands in the Ketra village. A direct noblesse teleport from Goddard leads there, and if you are not a noble, you can run there on foot. At the second level of the alliance the orcs no longer attack you; about the beasts I did not check, I just tried to go round them. You can get to the village quickly like this: from Wahkan we run into Ketra and turn right, go a few steps and turn left towards the mobs; there you can pass over the top between two glades, bypassing the mobs, and below you will see the village.

  3. Varka Silenos Village. Talk to Udan Mardui's Box. You receive: Stolen Green Totem.

    Asefa says that you have to steal the sacred totem that lies in a hidden chest in the Varka village. We return to Goddard, buy Thief Key in the shop and teleport to Varka. From this moment not a single goat must attack you; if it happens, you are cursed and will have to go to Asefa again to have the curse removed. How to pass unnoticed? At the teleport we turn our back to the gate and go left (without entering the gate) along the wall; the mobs do not come out onto the road here, and we quietly pass by them. If you look at the map, we have to go round practically the whole of Varka and come to Devil's Pass. Before it there is a path leading to the fort. We climb it almost to the fort itself, and there, at a tree on the left side, you can climb onto the foothills and squeeze along them onto the snowy mountain; on its opposite side is the Varka village, and the little chest is hidden behind a hut. We go down to it and talk: we poke the "Quest" line and then the only line there, which is worded differently, either "use the key" or "try to open the chest". We open it and get Stolen Green Totem.

  4. Ketra Orc Village. Return to Soul Guide Asefa to complete the quest. Hand over: Stolen Green Totem. You receive: Divine Stone of Wisdom, Green Totem.

    We return to Asefa, hand the item in and get Divine Stone of Wisdom for the third profession quest and Green Totem. I warn you: you cannot cheat here. If you put a summoner in the village, the summon will not work after Asefa has given you the task. That is all: those who do the third profession can run on about their business, and we will take up the raid boss, Magical Power of Water - Part 2.

Tips

  • Do not hit a Ketra orc while the quest is active: the journal warns that the alliance mark drops by one level and the alliance is broken.
  • The Varka side offers the same stone through Magical Power of Fire - Part 1; you need only one of the two quests.

  1. Meet the Guide of Dead Souls!

    Meet Asefa in the Ketra Orc Village.

    However, if you ever harm a Ketra Orc while carrying out this mission, your mark of ally will be downgraded one level and the alliance will be broken.

  2. Steal the magical power of water!

    Steal the totem from the box of Udan Mardui in the Varka Silenos Stronghold. If you're discovered in the midst of your mission and get accursed, you must stop the mission and return to Asefa, Guide of Dead Souls.

    However, if you ever harm a Ketra Orc while carrying out this mission, your mark of ally will be downgraded one level and the alliance will be broken.

  3. Return to Asefa

    You've successfully stolen the totem from the box of Udan Mardui! Return to Asefa!
