Four Goblets

Four Goblets is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 74–80. It starts with Nameless Spirit in Four Sepulchers.

The Nameless Spirit at the entrance of the Four Sepulchers is collecting 4 goblets which you can get from the Shadow of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers.

Four Goblets walkthrough

The quest Four Goblets for the entrance to the Sepulchers. It is taken from level 74 from the NPC Nameless Spirit (Nameless Spirit), who stands at the very bottom of the location Imperial Tomb, in the middle of the Four Sepulchers. To do the quest you need at least four hours and a party of 4 people or more. The essence of the quest is to pass through one of the four sepulchers and get one of the four goblets at its end. The goblets are given out at random, and it is not a fact that in four passes you will manage to collect all four. And for the reward you need precisely the set of all four goblets. One of the variants of acting in the sepulchers is described below.

  1. The backstory of this quest is this: when Frintezza set out to enslave one of the strongest demons of Elmoreden, Scarlet van Halisha, he went there not alone but took four valkyries along: Tishas, Morigul, Alectia and Mekara. And, as usually happens, he betrayed them all, because to get to Halisha all these warrior women had to be sacrificed, and now these four valkyries are in those very four sepulchers. And after passing each sepulcher you are given one of the goblets, either dedicated to one of the valkyries or once belonging to them.

Before the first run

  1. Four Sepulchers. Take the quest from Nameless Spirit.

He stands between the four sepulchers. Every member of the party takes the quest: a character without it keeps the door shut for all.

  2. Each run costs one Entrance Pass to the Sepulcher per person. Passes drop from the monsters of the Imperial Tomb, but only while Relics of the Old Empire is active, so take that quest from Ghost of Adventurer near the tomb entrance first. The same monsters give Broken Relic Part for it, which makes the farming pay twice.

  3. The doors open once an hour, from minute 55 until the hour ends. A party of at least four comes to one of the managers — Conquerors' Sepulcher Manager, Emperors' Sepulcher Manager, Great Sages' Sepulcher Manager or Judges' Sepulcher Manager — and the leader talks to it while everyone holds the quest and a pass. One sepulcher takes one party at a time, so a busy door simply means choosing another.

Five halls and the Shadow

  1. Hall 1. Touch Mysterious Box and monsters appear. Pick Halisha's Officer out of the crowd and kill it: Key Box shows up and hands over Chapel Key. Give the key to Baron's Hall Gatekeeper and the next door opens.

  2. Hall 2. Another Mysterious Box, but no special target: kill what comes out until the box with the key appears, then pay Viscount's Hall Gatekeeper.

  3. Hall 3. A Victim arrives together with the monsters. Clear the hall and wait: a little later Executioner of Halisha comes, and its death brings the key box. This key is for Count's Hall Gatekeeper.

  4. Hall 4. The target is Halisha's Foreman; the key from its box goes to Marquis' Hall Gatekeeper.

  5. Hall 5. Monsters and statues come in two waves. The first wave has to die to the last one; in the second look for Archon of Halisha. Its box holds the last key, for Duke's Hall Gatekeeper.

  6. Kill Shadow of Halisha (lv. 80).

The Shadow waits in the sixth room. Every party member with the quest who does not own this goblet yet receives it. The four sepulchers give Goblet of Alectia, Goblet of Tishas, Goblet of Mekara and Goblet of Morigul.

Four goblets for the brooch

  1. One of the variants of passing is given above; you can pass the sepulchers as is handier for you. As soon as you pass a sepulcher and farm the raid boss, you are given one of the goblets. We repeat as many times as it takes to collect all four goblets: Goblet of Alectia, Goblet of Tishas, Goblet of Mekara and Goblet of Morigul.

  2. Return to Nameless Spirit. Hand over: Goblet of Alectia, Goblet of Tishas, Goblet of Mekara, Goblet of Morigul. You receive: Antique Brooch.

Having collected all four, we hand them to the start NPC. Do not forget that to enter a sepulcher you need the item Entrance Pass to the Sepulcher, which drops from the mobs of the Imperial Tomb in the quest for recipes of S-grade weapons (Relics of the Old Empire). After the goblets are handed to the NPC you get the item Antique Brooch as a reward. This item has two meanings: first, you can take the quests for the way to Frintezza, and second, you can teleport free of charge and any number of times to the Imperial Tomb and to the Four Sepulchers from the NPC Ghost Chamberlain of Elmoreden, one of whom stands at the entrance to the location Wall of Argos and the other in the Pilgrim's Temple.

  3. Besides the goblet, for passing a sepulcher (and during the pass) you get additional goodies. In order: the quest mob for the third profession (no need to farm 700 mobs in the Shrine of Loyalty); a raid boss available every hour (in each of the four sepulchers); all the mobs in the Sepulchers also drop the items of the quest for recipes of S-grade weapons; the mobs in the Sepulchers drop the items Sealed Box, which after passing a Sepulcher can be changed for resources or enchant scrolls at a special NPC. The next quest of the chain is Last Imperial Prince.

Tips

  • On entry the pass turns into Used Grave Pass. Do not throw it away: Ghost Chamberlain of Elmoreden takes it as the fare for his teleport back to the sepulchers. Once you own Antique Brooch he no longer asks for it.
  • Monsters inside drop Sealed Box. Ghost of Wigoth opens them for a random reward; many boxes turn out to be empty.
  • The quest stays in the journal after the brooch, so the sepulchers can be farmed further. 1,000 × Broken Relic Part are exchanged for a 60% recipe of an S-grade weapon.
  • The NPC Ghost of Wigoth is needed by those who do the quest for the S-grade weapon recipes in the location Imperial Tomb, Relics of the Old Empire. The point is that if you simply hand the quest items in to the starting NPC, he gives a random recipe. But if you go up to the NPC Ghost of Wigoth, you can choose exactly the recipe you really need.
  • The only problem is that this NPC is in a closed room, into which you can be teleported only after passing the location Four Sepulchers. That is, you will be able to see the NPC, but there is a barrier in front of the entrance to the room, and only the teleport will help you here.
  • There were rumours that you can supposedly leave a summoner next to the NPC and get summoned to him when you need to exchange the items for recipes. Possibly that is an invention of particular admins of a particular server: all summoning into the Sepulchers is closed, and you have surely seen for yourself long ago that you can be summoned only into the corridor before the sepulchers, after the last room at the very bottom of the Imperial Tomb. Though try it: maybe everything is set up differently on your server.
  • At this NPC you can also exchange the items Sealed Box, which drop while you go through the Sepulchers. In return you get either adena, or resources, or weapon and armor enchant scrolls.
