S84 S84-Grade weapons 135
What I do not love the chronicles above Interlude for is that not every weapon and armor can be crafted. When I ran on Freya servers I kept thinking: well, the Koreans will come up with new chronicles and will surely add the crafting of S84 weapons above low. Like hell they did. The High Five update appeared, and you can still craft only the vespers, and everything else comes only from epics. I felt terribly sorry for NCsoft, being such slowpokes. But what can you do, no means no, we go on crafting vespers.
With the arrival of the new weapons the amount of resources for making them rose sharply, quite new resources appeared, and the amount of the old ones needed for crafting grew. And with the introduction of masterwork crafting the number of those wishing to craft such a weapon rose sharply too. But first things first.

In each subgroup there are three items: the low, the mid and the top S84 weapon. The low weapon can be crafted (and should be); the mid and the top come only from epics, the mid dropping from Antharas, Valakas and Freya and from one more odd mob, Knoriks, and the top S84 only from Valakas and Antharas.
S80 Weapons: S80-Grade
What I do not like the chronicles above Interlude for is that not all weapons and armor can be crafted. True, this does not apply to S80, but here too there are nuances that do not let you craft it in the volumes you would like. And we are talking first of all about the Dynasty weapons, because the recipes for them neither drop nor are spoiled from mobs: they can be obtained only through quests.
With the arrival of the new weapons the amount of resources needed to make them grew sharply: completely new resources appeared, and the amount of the old ones needed for the craft went up. And with the introduction of masterwork craft the number of those wishing to craft such weapons grew sharply too.
- One-handed axes and blunts:
Dynasty Cudgel,
Icarus Hammer. Two-handed axes and blunts:
Dynasty Crusher. Pikes, polearms:

Icarus Dual Daggers. - Ancient swords:
Dynasty Ancient Sword,
Icarus Wingblade. Rapiers:
Dynasty Rapier,

Dynasty Crossbow,
Icarus Shooter. - One-handed magic swords:
Dynasty Phantom,
Icarus Spirit. One-handed magic blunts:
Dynasty Mace,
Icarus Hall. Two-handed magic blunts:
Dynasty Staff.
Each subgroup has two items, the low and the top S80 weapon. But for some reason the top weapons have no two-handed blunts, neither physical nor magic. Although in principle nobody needs them anyway: remember how many people ran around in Interlude with the Dragon Hunter Axe or the Imperial Staff. Still, what is outrageous here is the very fact of the absence, not whether the item is needed or not.
About the grade: the Dynasty weapons need level 80 and players count them as low S80, but by the High Five client they are S grade (S crystals, S shots), so in the tables of this site they stand in the S section; the Icarus weapons are S80 in the client as well.
A Weapons: A-Grade
Starting with A grade, the 100% recipes disappear from crafting and only the 60% ones remain, so welcome to the real world: the fairy tales about 100% crafting of B weapons are over, meet the Great Korean Random (GKR).
With A-grade weapons you have to understand their clear gradation, otherwise your head will be a mess: all these low, top, C5 weapons and Interlude weapons can get so mixed up in there that it will be a quiet horror. So we classify them like this: there are low A-grade weapons and top A-grade weapons. That was how it was before Interlude. Interlude introduced the location Primeval Isle, and with it new A-grade weapons whose stats are better than those of top A. That is why the new weapons came to be called best A-grade weapons, or Interlude weapons, or dino weapons.
As for me, it is better to call it best A-grade weapons (best meaning the best weapons of A grade), so that is what I will call it here. Every weapon listed below is marked with one of three positions: low A grade, top A grade, or best A grade (the Interlude dino weapons).
Now the general principles of crafting A-grade weapons. Low A weapons are practically never crafted, and not because there is no need for them: simply 99% of all such weapons coming to the market are got from the subclass quest, where a top B weapon is exchanged for a low A one, and since somebody is always doing this quest, the inflow of low A weapons never stops. Of course sometimes you have to craft those too, but that is an exception: for example, I crafted the Infernal Master and the Spiritual Eye, but that was on servers whose pack had been remade from C4 into Interlude, where such weapons simply were not available through the subclass quest. Or I crafted the Tallum Blade when I urgently needed to make the S duals
Tallum Blade*Dark Legion's Edge and this sword was not on sale or the price did not suit me.
Top A weapons are crafted practically always, with only a few exceptions: for example, the top A fists Dragon Grinder are not crafted, because nobody really needs them and selling them is very hard, and the Elysian is crafted rarely: there seem to be many dwarves, but it does not sell for much.
Best A weapons have other problems: everything would be crafted (well, probably except the fists Sobekk's Hurricane) if there were free access to the recipes and keys for these weapons. But alas there is none, because both the recipes and the keys are available only through quests on the Primeval Isle, and that is quite hard and cannot be a mass thing. Because of this the prices of best A-grade weapons are very high and often exceed the prices of S-grade weapons.
- Axes and blunts, one-handed:
Meteor Shower low,
Elysian top,
Barakiel's Axe - Health best. Two-handed:
Destroyer Hammer low,
Doom Crusher top,
Behemoth's Tuning Fork best. - Pikes, polearms:
Halberd low,
Tallum Glaive top,
Tiphon's Spear best. One-handed swords:
Tallum Blade low,
Dark Legion's Edge top,
Sirra's Blade best. Two-handed swords:
Infernal Master low,
Dragon Slayer top,
Sword of Ipos best. - Daggers:
Bloody Orchid low,
Soul Separator top,
Naga Storm best. Bows:
Carnage Bow low,
Soul Bow top,
Shyeed's Bow best. Fists:
Blood Tornado low,
Dragon Grinder top,
Sobekk's Hurricane best. - Duals:
Keshanberk*Keshanberk are the low A duals, then come
Keshanberk*Damascus and
Damascus*Damascus, and Damascus*Tallum Blade are the top A duals. The duals are the only thing that does not fit the system: there are as many as 4 different A duals, and best A duals do not exist at all; so once again NCsoft did not bother and left the gladiators out. - One-handed magic blunts:
Spiritual Eye low,
Flaming Dragon Skull top,
Cabrio's Hand best. Two-handed magic blunts:
Dasparion's Staff low,
Branch of the Mother Tree top,
Daimon Crystal best. One-handed magic swords:
Elemental Sword low,
Sword of Miracles top,
Themis' Tongue best.
As you may have noticed, the names of all best A weapons are tied to some raid bosses. What came into NCsoft's head to do it this way is not quite clear: if you look at those raid bosses, they have nothing similar as a weapon and never had, and some analogies cause plain hysterical laughter. What weapon can Queen Shyeed have if she is a big cockroach, or the little ball Daimon the White-Eyed: where exactly was it hiding that weapon? And Death Lord Ipos holds a
Great Sword in his hands. Nonsense, in short, but never mind. Good luck with the craft.
B Weapons: B-Grade
Having reached level 52, we face the question of getting B-grade weapons, because C grade has become pretty boring by now, the consumption of C shots is huge, and anyway: 52, why are we still running around in C?
Many prefer to slip through this stretch with B shadow weapons: cheap and cheerful, but you must agree it is somehow not right for true crafters. So we are going to craft B weapons, all the more because the top B ones we will sell for a high price anyway to those doing the subclass quest.
Many often ask: how and with what do you start crafting B-grade weapons? First of all we need to arm ourselves, and since we are enterprising dwarves, we immediately make ourselves duals out of two swords, to feel comfortable among mobs. After that the process will be completely unpredictable, because getting recipes for B weapons is very unpredictable.
- Axes and blunts, one-handed:
Heavy War Axe is the low one;
Art of Battle Axe and
Deadman's Glory are the top ones. Two-handed:
Ice Storm Hammer is the low one,
Star Buster the top one. - Pikes, polearms:
Great Axe is low,
Lance is top. One-handed swords:
Keshanberk is low,
Sword of Damascus is top. Two-handed swords:
Great Sword is low,
Guardian Sword is top. - Daggers:
Kris is low,
Demon's Dagger is top. Bows:
Dark Elven Long Bow is low,
Bow of Peril is top. Fists:
Arthro Nail is low,
Bellion Cestus is top. - Duals: there are very many variants of B duals, so I will not go through them all, only three positions.
Sword of Delusion*Sword of Delusion are B duals made of shop swords and a dual craft stamp;
Sword of Nightmare*Sword of Nightmare are B duals made of Mammon swords without a craft stamp (both kinds are meant for breaking into B crystals);
Samurai Long Sword*Samurai Long Sword are the top B duals. - Magic weapons with buff special abilities:
Hell Knife,
Sprite's Staff and
Staff of Evil Spirits, the top B two-handed magic blunt. - One-handed magic blunts:
Spell Breaker is low,
Kaim Vanul's Bones is top. One-handed magic swords:
Sword of Valhalla is low,
Wizard's Tear is top.
C Weapons: C-Grade
In principle I was not going to make a page on C-grade weapons at all. That is because any weapon of this grade can be exchanged at the Blacksmith of Mammon in the week of the Seven Signs victory. And also because the recipes for top C weapons are mostly as hard to get as the recipes for B-grade weapons. And also because the toad in me chokes at throwing so many resources at something that can be had anyway, and without any craft at all.
But I was talked into dealing with this grade after all; it must have been players of some freshly opened server where there are no Mammons yet. I will do it, of course, but first I will still tell you how to get this grade without crafting, and then we will look at the most popular weapons from a crafter's point of view.
C grade has four gradations of weapons (as a rule, though there are exceptions); so that you understand these divisions, let's look at everything on the example of one-handed swords. Group 1:
Stormbringer, low, P.Atk 107. Group 2:
Raid Sword, mid-low, P.Atk 122. Group 3:
Sword of Delusion, mid, P.Atk 139. Group 4:
Samurai Longsword, top, P.Atk 156.
Weapons of the first and third groups, low and middle, can be bought in the Luxury Shop of Giran for D and C-grade crystals. A low one costs 2,865 D crystals and 573 C crystals, a mid one almost twice as much, that is, 5,375 D and 1,075 C crystals.
At the Blacksmith of Mammon, in the week of victory, weapons of groups 1 and 3 can be exchanged for free for similar ones of the same group, or with a surcharge in ancient adena for weapons of groups 2 and 4: group 1 is exchanged with a surcharge for group 2, and group 3 with a surcharge for group 4 (top C).
Let's take the same swords as examples. The Stormbringer is exchanged for free for any weapon of the first group: some of those can be bought in the Luxury Shop, some can be had only at Mammon. Any such weapon (the first group) is upgraded with ancient adena to a weapon of the second group (696k AA are needed): in our example we got a Raid Sword, and that one can be exchanged for free for any weapon of the second group. In the second group we are interested in the Raid Sword and the
Katana, from which different top C duals can be made.
Now the third group, the one that can be bought in the Luxury Shop: any weapon of the 3rd group can also be exchanged at Mammon for a similar one of the group. In this group we are interested mainly in the Homu (
Homunkulus's Sword), for whose sake people carry Luxury Shop swords to Mammon. Any weapon of the third group is upgraded with ancient adena to a weapon of the fourth, top C group (2.196kk AA are needed). Having got a top C weapon this way (in our example the Samurai Longsword), you can exchange it at Mammon for free for any other top C one.
That is all you need to know about how to make absolutely any other C-grade weapon out of any C-grade weapon without resorting to craft.
Now let's look at the C-grade weapons that, for one reason or another, you will craft. What is sold in the Luxury Shop we leave out, since buying for crystals will in any case be much cheaper than crafting. Considering that at the opening of a new server there are no Mammons, and there will be none for at least a week, we can craft a couple of swords that may be needed from the first day: the Homunkulus's Sword and the Raid Sword.
With the Homu everything is clear: without it mages have nothing to run with in C grade, especially in the first days. And I added the Raid Sword because from the very first day all kinds of shady characters yell in Giran about buying top C duals
Raid Sword*Raid Sword, not understanding that there is nowhere to get them from while there are no Mammons. You can try to craft and sell for a very, very high price, considering that the Raid Sword does not drop from raid bosses.
I see no sense at all in crafting other C-grade weapons, but at the players' request I will add the list of all top C weapons.
- Axes and blunts: one-handed
Yaksa Mace, two-handed
Dwarven Hammer. Pikes, polearms:
Orcish Poleaxe. One-handed swords:
Samurai Longsword. Two-handed swords:
Berserker Blade. - Daggers:
Crystal Dagger. Bows:
Eminence Bow. Fists:
Great Pata. Duals: there are so many variants of C-grade duals (top C among them) that they are a separate talk. - One-handed magic swords and blunts:
Ecliptic Axe,
Ecliptic Sword. Two-handed magic blunts:
Demon's Staff,
Ghoul's Staff,
Deadman's Staff.
D Weapons: D-Grade
It would seem, what is there to craft here? Go to the shop, buy any weapon of the D grade on offer there and off you go, at the mobs. But it is not that simple: when you start with one or two characters that really is so, but when you are constantly levelling something small, you want to get it over with faster, and you have to bother with top D weapons.
All the more so if you are levelling a crowd of academy members as small destroyers: it is desirable to get top D two-handers for them too, and to enchant these to at least +6 as well.
Crafting top D weapons does not drain our resources as badly as crafting C grade does, and there are options here as well: pick the craft that suits you in resources, craft it, then go to the Blacksmith of Mammon in the catacombs and exchange your crafted weapon for any other top D one for free. I craft the top D fists: the recipe is spoiled, the resources are few, the keys drop all the time in the 40+ catacombs, and then I exchange them for what I need. Of course you can skip all this, just buy the most expensive shop weapon and exchange it at the blacksmith in the catacombs for a top D one with a surcharge, but that is not our way. We are going to craft.
- Axes and blunts: one-handed
Bonebreaker; there is no two-handed one (somebody will mention the Atuba mace and hammer, but they fall short of a fighter's weapon: their P.Atk is only 90, while the shop one has 96, so I put them among the magic ones). - Pikes, polearms:
Glaive. One-handed swords:
Elven Long Sword. Two-handed swords:
Claymore. Daggers:
Mithril Dagger. Bows:
Light Crossbow. Fists:
Scallop Jamadhr. - Duals: there is a heap of top D dual variants, all with P.Atk 107, and nothing has to be crafted: you buy 2 swords in a shop and make duals at any smithy, for example
Bastard Sword*Elven Sword; but at Mammon you can exchange top D duals only for top D duals forged from other swords, with the same P.Atk. - One-handed magic blunts:
Staff of Life. Two-handed magic blunts:
Ghost Staff,
Atuba Mace,
Atuba Hammer.
