Testimony of Life
Testimony of Life is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 37+. It starts with Cardien in Town of Dion.
This quest is one of the three marks of:
The Mother Tree, the mother and final resting place of all Elves, is dying! To avoid another costly sacrifice, she must have tears from the purest creature, the water of life!
Testimony of Life walkthrough
The second quest for the second profession for the light elves: Testimony of Life. I dreadfully dislike the quests in the light elven village, and this quest in particular: there are no teleports for it in the starting location of the light elves, and you have to run about here many times. But it has to be done, nothing for it.
The mithril cup
Town of Dion. Find Master Cardien in the Warriors Guild and take the quest. You receive:
Cardien's Letter.The quest is taken at level 37 from Master Cardien, who stands in the warriors guild in Dion. With that everything good ends, and ahead of us lies a frantic dashing over different locations, to some of which we will have to go on foot.
Elven Village. Find Hierarch Asterios in the temple. You receive:
Hierarch's Letter.Cardien sends us to the village of the light elves to Hierarch Asterios, who is in the temple of the goddess Eva. In the dialogue with Asterios the first answer has to be chosen, after which you are sent on a trek to the NPC Thalia, who stands exactly in a place you have to run to on your own feet. If you have a summoner at hand, I would recommend putting one there, because you will have to run to Thalia more than once.
Iris Lake. Talk to Thalia. You receive:
Grail Diagram.You have to go to Thalia across the bridge that is next to the temple and the teleport. Leaving out all the lyrics, I will say at once that Thalia sends you to Giran to the blacksmith Pushkin, known to everybody.
Town of Giran. Find Blacksmith Pushkin in the smithy. You receive:
Pushkin's List.Pushkin needs many ingredients to craft something for us, so we set off to knock out the quest items.
Death Pass. Hunt Wyrm (lv. 35) until you have:
Wyrm's Talon ×20.20 Wyrm's Talon from the mobs Wyrm in the location Death Pass: teleport from Giran to Dragon Valley, the mobs are to the left of the teleport point.
Hunt Guardian Basilisk (lv. 36) until you have:
Pure Mithril Ore ×10.10 Pure Mithril Ore from the mobs Guardian Basilisk in the same place.
Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Ant Recruit (lv. 33), Ant Patrol (lv. 34), Ant Guard (lv. 35), Ant Soldier (lv. 35), Ant Warrior Captain (lv. 36) until you have:
Ant Soldier Acid ×20.20 Ant Soldier Acid from various ants in the location Ant Nest: teleport from Gludio, you have to go down into the dungeon.
Town of Giran. Return to Blacksmith Pushkin in the smithy. You receive:
Pure Mithril Cup.We knock out all the items and carry them to Pushkin, and he crafts the Pure Mithril Cup for us.
Iris Lake. Return to Thalia. You receive:
Thalia's 1st Letter.It has to be carried to Thalia in the summerhouse (this is where the summon comes in handy, if you put one there).
Stardust
Altar of Rites. Talk to Witch Arkenia. You receive:
Arkenia's Contract.The next point Thalia sends us to is the location Altar of Rites (teleport from the dark elven village to the Spider Nest, and from there on foot to the altar). By the altar stands Witch Arkenia.
Gludin Village. Find Priest Adonius in the temple. You receive:
Adonius's list.From Arkenia we teleport to Gludin Village, to the NPC Priest Adonius, who stands in the temple. Adonius needs the following components.
Cruma Tower (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Marsh Spider (lv. 34) until you have:
Spider Ichor ×20.20 Spider Ichor from the mobs Marsh Spider in the location Cruma Marshlands.
Gorgon Flower Garden. Hunt Harpy (lv. 32) until you have:
Harpy's Down ×20.20 Harpy's Down from the mobs Harpy, which live between the town and the castle of Giran: you have to leave Giran and go towards the castle.
Gludin Village. Return to Priest Adonius in the temple. You receive:
Andariel Scripture Copy.The items we knocked out we carry to Adonius and get a copy of a book in return.
Altar of Rites. Return to Witch Arkenia. You receive:
Stardust.And carry it to Arkenia at the Altar of Rites; we get the Stardust as a reward.
Iris Lake. Return to Thalia. You receive:
Grail of Purity.And we teleport to Thalia again (those who have no summon run on foot).
Talin's spear
Hunters Village. Find Isael Silvershadow on the square. You receive:
Isael's Instructions.The next stage (yes, yes, this is not the end yet) is the craft of the quest spear, with which we will perform feats (a joke), so Thalia sends you far and for long (sarcasm again, I am dreadfully tired of running); in short, she sends you to Hunters Village, where opposite the gatekeeper on the square stands a madam with the name Isael Silvershadow (well, well, Silver Shadow, almost Keen Eye). This madam has frittered the spear away: it now lies about as a multitude of broken little pieces, and what is more, all those pieces were picked up by mobs, and we have to go and knock out all this cr... all these ingredients.
Plains of the Lizardmen (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Leto Lizardman Shaman (lv. 39), Leto Lizardman Overlord (lv. 40) until you have:
Talin's Spear Blade, 
Talin's Spear Shaft, 
Talin's Ruby, 
Talin's Aquamarine, 
Talin's Amethyst, 
Talin's Peridot.At least it is good that there are only two mobs: Leto Lizardman Shaman and Leto Lizardman Overlord, of levels 39 and 40 respectively, and the second has x2 HP as well. What is a poor Elven Elder to do here? The items drop three from one kind and three from the other. To the Elven Elders I recommend a warrior buff and dressing warmer; if that does not help, you will have to bring a damage dealer, take the HP off with it and finish the mobs off with the elder. The other classes will cope by themselves. Yes, the mobs are in the location Plains of the Lizardmen, teleport from Oren. If you do not want to spend money on the teleport, from Hunters Village you can run on foot to the lizardmen through the tunnel in the mountain that connects these two locations. In that case you have to leave Hunters Village through the exit next to the Olympiad pillar.
Hunters Village. Return to Isael Silvershadow on the square. You receive:
Talins Spear, 
Isael's Letter.When we have knocked out all the items, we go to Isael Silvershadow in Hunters Village again; she assembles the spear from the parts and hands it to us.
And again we have to go to Thalia (or be summoned, if you were provident). Now Thalia demands that we bring her the tears of the unicorn (Tears of Unicorn), which have to be knocked out of the quest mob of level 30, Unicorn of Eva.
Tears of the unicorn
Elven Forest (teleport from Elven Village). Kill Unicorn Of Eva (lv. 30) to get:
Tears of Unicorn.If at this moment you look at the map, you will see the mark on it far, far away: that is the place where we supposedly have to go. Nothing of the kind: the nearest unicorn stands quite close, and all the following ones stand at the same distance from one another right up to the mark. Why there are so many of them I do not know, but we go to the nearest one. The unicorn must be beaten without fail with the spear that was crafted for us; it lies in the ordinary inventory: we take it in hand, beat, and get the item.
Iris Lake. Return to Thalia. You receive:
Water of Life.And once more we run to Thalia (well, at least now she is almost next door).
Elven Village. Return to Hierarch Asterios in the temple. You receive:
Camomile Charm.Then to the light village to Asterios.
Town of Dion. Return to Master Cardien in the Warriors Guild. You receive:
Mark of Life.Then to Dion to Master Cardien. Phew, at last the quest is done. We get the Mark of Life and dimensional diamonds and go to do the third, last quest for the profession.
The future Elven Elder and Temple Knight go to do Test of the Healer. The future Swordsinger go to do Test of the Duelist. The future Plainswalker go to do Test of the Searcher. The future Silver Ranger go to do Test of Sagittarius. The future Elemental Summoner go to do Test of the Summoner. The future Spellsinger go to do Test of Magus.

The Time of Trial
Also known as the mother of all forests and fairies, our Mother Tree is dying. Master Cardien says that many young Elves must be sacrificed if she is to be saved and then gives you the testimony of life. Take his letter to Magister Asterios in Elven Village.

You must obtain the water of life to revive the Mother Tree. Thalia in the east of Iris Lake knows where to find it. Find her.

The Dwarven Blacksmith
You must first have the grail of purity if you are to obtain the water of life. Blacksmith Pushkin is the only one who knows how to properly handle pure mithril, an essential ingredient of the grail. Find him in Giran Castle Town.

Searching for the Scripture of Andariel
Witch Arkenia will give you stardust if you bring her the Andariel scripture. You'll find it in Einhasad Temple in Gludin Village.

Making a Copy of the Scripture
Priest Adonius asks for your help with his publishing business and promises to give you a copy of the scripture of Andariel as a reward. Find spider ichor for the ink and harpy's down for the penholders.
