Path of the Elven Scout

Path of the Elven Scout is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 18+. It starts with Reisa in Town of Gludio.

Elven Scouts are the most dexterous and elegant of all Elves! To become Scouts they must first prove their worth in battle.

The quest for the 1st profession for the Plains Walker and the Silver Ranger: Path to an Elven Scout (Elven Scout, then Plainswalker or Silver Ranger).

  1. Town of Gludio. Take the quest from Master Reisa. You receive: Reisa's Letter.

    The quest is taken at level 19 from Master Reisa in the town of Gludio; she stands in the warriors guild.

  2. Find Guard Moretti at the town gate.

    We look for the NPC Guard Moretti at the eastern gate of Gludio (that is next to the teleport).

  3. Abandoned Camp (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Ol Mahum Patrol (lv. 21) until you have: Prias's 1st Torn Letter, Prias's 2nd Torn Letter, Prias's 3rd Torn Letter, Prias's 4th Torn Letter.

    We run to the Abandoned Camp (teleport from Gludin Village) and beat the mobs Ol Mahum Patrol until we get four letters, Prias's Torn Letter, from them. There is no need to go into the camp itself, the mobs there are 24+; look on the other side from the teleport point, the mob is a level 21 archer.

  4. Town of Gludio. Return to Guard Moretti at the town gate. You receive: Moretti's Herb, Moretti's Letter.

    We carry the letters back to Gludio to the guard Moretti; he sends you to find the NPC Prias.

  5. The Neutral Zone (teleport from Dark Elf Village). Talk to Prias.

    We teleport to the Neutral Zone from the village of the dark or the light elves and run to where the arrow is on the map; the NPC stands above the letter l in the word Neutral, next to the water. He asks you to kill the quest mob Ol Mahum Sentry and bring the key that drops from it.

  6. Hunt Ol Mahum Sentry (lv. 17) until you have: Rusted Key.

    The mob is right here, next to the NPC. We knock the key out.

  7. Return to Prias. Hand over: Rusted Key. You receive: Prias's Letter.

    We free Prias.

  8. Town of Gludio. Return to Guard Moretti at the town gate. Hand over: Prias's Letter. You receive: Honorary Guard.

    And we return to Moretti.

  9. Return to Master Reisa. Hand over: Honorary Guard. You receive: Reisa's Recommendation.

    Next we go to Master Reisa and get the mark Reisa's Recommendation.

  10. Find Grand Master Rains in the Warriors Guild to complete the quest. Hand over: Reisa's Recommendation.

    The mark we hand in to Grand Master Rains and change the profession to Elven Scout (Elven Ranger). On reaching level 35 the future light archers (Silver Ranger) do the quests for the second profession: Trial of the Seeker, Testimony of Life and Test of Sagittarius. And the future light chest openers (Plainswalker) theirs: Trial of the Seeker, Testimony of Life and Test of the Searcher.

Tips

  • Ol Mahum Patrol is level 21 and walks in groups, so pull one patrol at a time at the edge of the camp.

Quest journal

  1. Proof of Ability

    The quest that must be fulfilled to change one's class to that of an Elven Scout. In order to become an Elven Scout, Master Reisa tells you to prove your skills by finding Guard Moretti's lost friend.

  2. Missing Friend

    Guard Moretti's friend Prias disappeared while trying to elude an Ol Mahum patrol. Confront the Ol Mahum patrol and find out what you can regarding Prias' whereabouts.

  3. Return to Moretti

    You recovered torn pieces of a letter from the Ol Mahum patrols. Take them to Guard Moretti of the Town of Gludio.

  4. Find Prias

    You find out that Prias was kidnapped and taken to the Neutral Zone of the Elven Forest. Due to the impending invasion of Ol Mahums, Guard Moretti cannot leave his post to look for his friend. He asks you to go and rescue Prias.

  5. Take Away the Key

    Prias is bound in shackles. Kill the Ol Mahum sentry, take his key and unlock the shackles.

  6. Release Prias

    You have secured the key from the Ol Mahum sentry. Free Prias from his shackles.

  7. Reply Letter From Prias

    Prias was grateful to receive Moretti's herb. He tells you that he must complete his mission. He asks you to give his regards to Moretti.

  8. Honorary Guard

    Moretti gives you a Honorary Guard Certificate as a reward for rescuing Prias. Show it to Reisa.
