Path of the Trooper

Path of the Trooper is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 18+. It starts with Gwain in Town of Gludio.

To become a Trooper, you must first pass the test given by Master Gwain in the Town of Gludio.

Path of the Trooper walkthrough

The first class transfer for a male Kamael Male Soldier who becomes a Trooper, the step before Berserker and Soul Breaker. Two masters share the work: the one in Gludin trains you on lizardmen and spiders and writes a recommendation, the one in Gludio sets the final test, the heart of a bugbear.

  1. Town of Gludio. Find Master Gwain in the Kamael Guild and take the quest.

  2. Gludin Village. Find Master Shubain in the Kamael Guild.

  3. Fellmere Harvesting Grounds (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Felim Lizardman Warrior (lv. 17) until you have: Felim Lizardman Head ×5.

  4. Gludin Village. Return to Master Shubain in the Kamael Guild. Hand over: Felim Lizardman Head ×5.

  5. Windmill Hill (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Venomous Spider (lv. 18) until you have: Venomous Spider's Leg ×10.

  6. Gludin Village. Return to Master Shubain in the Kamael Guild. Hand over: Venomous Spider's Leg ×10. You receive: Shubain's Recommendation.

  7. Town of Gludio. Return to Master Gwain in the Kamael Guild. Hand over: Shubain's Recommendation.

  8. Ruins of Agony (teleport from Town of Gludio). Hunt Tumran Bugbear (lv. 23) until you have: Tumran Bugbear Heart.

  9. Town of Gludio. Return to Master Gwain in the Kamael Guild to complete the quest. Hand over: Tumran Bugbear Heart. You receive: Gwain's Recommendation.

Tips

  • The bugbear is level 23, well above the level of the quest. Take the last hunt at level 20–21 or ask a friend to help.
  • At level 20 show Gwain's Recommendation to the Grand Master of the Kamael Guild in Gludio to change the class.

  1. Obtain a Recommendation

    In order to take the test to become a Trooper, a letter of recommendation is required from Master Shubain in Gludin Village.

  2. First Training Goals

    Training with Master Shubain needs to be completed in order to receive the required recommendation to take the test to be a Trooper. The first objective in your training is to kill Felim Lizardman Warriors in the Fellmere Harvesting Grounds and bring back 5 of their heads.

  3. Second Training Goals

    The second part of the training consists of going to Windmill Hill to wipe out the spider population. Bring back 10 Venomous Spider Legs as proof of your efforts.

  4. Training Completed

    Master Shubain has completed all the training and has acquired a letter of recommendation. Go see Master Gwain in the town of Gludio to take the test to become a Trooper.

  5. Test to be a Trooper

    To become a Trooper, you must first pass a major test -- destroy a monster known as the Tumran Bugbear and bring back its heart. You will find the Tumran Bugbear in the Ruins of Agony.
