Recover Smuggled Goods

Recover Smuggled Goods walkthrough

The quest Recover Smuggled Goods, for the no-grade shield Buckler. Start level: 5. Start location: the human village. Start NPC: Warehouse Keeper Wilford (Wilford). No requirements. Not repeatable. No race restrictions, any race can do it. In the C1 chronicles the shield is not given, only 1500 adena.

1. Talking Island. Find Warehouse Keeper Wilford in the warehouse and take the quest.

The quest is taken from the fifth level from Warehouse Keeper Wilford, who is naturally in the warehouse.

2. Talking Island, Eastern Territory. Hunt Giant Toad (lv. 5) until you have: Adamantite Ore ×20.

Wilford gives the task to knock as many as 20 items out of the mobs Giant Toad. Where these frogs are we all know, but if you are not local, you run from the village towards the obelisk; on the left side, by the little river next to the bridge, the frogs croak. The mobs are social to each other, so if there are many of them in one heap, by aggroing one you aggro all. The drop of the quest items is very low, and if you are a mage, get ready to sit on your bottom and regenerate mana. At the start of a server many newbie mages sit here, like little mushrooms among the frogs. But the lowest no-grade weapon precisely for mages drops well from these mobs, and it can be upgraded later, when you have gathered the adena.

3. Talking Island. Return to Warehouse Keeper Wilford in the warehouse to complete the quest. Hand over: Adamantite Ore ×20. You receive: Buckler.

But now the fun is over, the items are farmed, and we return to the start NPC. We get the shield and, if needed, upgrade it to the top no-grade shield in two stages, spending 11k adena on it.

1. Toad Hunting

Warehouse Keeper Wilford has been smuggling goods in violation of the embargo enacted after the war with Gracia. Recently, a merchant ship was stranded, spilling adamantine ore all over the shore. Much of the ore was recovered, but giant toads are swallowing what remains of it. Hunt the giant toads and recover the ore.
