Letters of Love

Letters of Love is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 2–5. It starts with Darin in Talking Island.

Darin, a young man on Talking Island, carries a torch for Gatekeeper Roxxy, who doesn't return his affections. However, Darin is not so easily dissuaded.

Letters of Love walkthrough

The quest Letters of Love, for the Necklace of Knowledge. Start level: 2. Start location: the human village. Start NPC: Darin (Darin). No requirements. Not repeatable. No race restrictions, any race can do it. Reward: Necklace of Knowledge. In the C1 chronicles the necklace is not given, only 450 adena.

  1. Talking Island. Take the quest from Darin. You receive: Darin's Letter.

    The quest is taken from the second level from Darin, who is in the very centre of the village. When you take the quest he asks whether you know Roxxy. Well, I did not hide that I know this gatekeeper and poked the second line. And here it turns out that the man is burning with quite a liking for the above-mentioned gatekeeper, and on these grounds he has gone off his head. And now he sends this lady love messages with every passer-by.

  2. Talk to Gatekeeper Roxxy. Hand over: Darin's Letter. You receive: Roxxy's Kerchief.

    In short, we go to Roxxy and hand her the letter, and she sends him some trifle in reply. From the talk I understood that she is rather not against it.

  3. Return to Darin. Hand over: Roxxy's Kerchief. You receive: Darin's Receipt.

    But Darin is of another opinion. He sends us to Magister Baulro in the temple, to have him whip up a love elixir.

  4. Talk to Magister Baulro. Hand over: Darin's Receipt. You receive: Baulro's Potion.

    We get the cherished phial from Baulro and return to the start NPC.

  5. Return to Darin to complete the quest. Hand over: Baulro's Potion. You receive: Necklace of Knowledge.

    With that all the sentiment ends, and we are given the necklace we wanted. It can be upgraded.

  1. Delivery of Love Letters

    Darin of Talking Island Village has fallen in love with Gatekeeper Roxxy. He is too shy to express his feelings and asks you to deliver his love letter to her.

  2. Roxxy's Kerchief

    Roxxy reads Darin's letter and tells you that she admires him as well. She asks you to deliver her kerchief to him. Take Roxxy's kerchief to Darin in the village square.

  3. Baulro's Magic Potion

    Darin is overjoyed to learn that Roxxy returns his admiration, and says he wants to ask her for a date. He asks you to go and get a love potion promised to him by Magister Baulro at the temple.

  4. Water that Brings Out Courage

    Magister Baulro admits that he deceived Darin about the potion in order to bolster his courage. He gives you a medicine bottle filled with tap water. Take it to Darin in the village square.
