Protect the Water Source

Protect the Water Source is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 12–18. It starts with Asterios in Elven Village.

Someone has intentionally poisoned the water supply of Elven Village! Hierarch Asterios is seeking a young volunteer to find and destroy this evil-doer to save the Mother Tree!

Protect the Water Source walkthrough

The quest Protect the Water Source, for 18250 adena. Start level: 12. Start location: the village of the light elves. Start NPC: Hierarch Asterios (Asterios). No requirements. Not repeatable. Only for light elves.

Elven Village. Find Hierarch Asterios in the temple and take the quest.
The quest for adena is available from level 12 and is taken from Hierarch Asterios, who stands in the temple of the goddess Eva.
Shadow of the Mother Tree. Hunt Plague Zombie (lv. 14) until you have: Plague Dust.
Our task is to find the quest mobs Plague Zombie and knock one quest item out of them. The mobs stand quite close: you go out through the gate that leads to the gremlins, that is, to where all of us elves started, run past the gremlins, and a little river is close by there; the mobs stand next to it. It is hard to break the mobs with a mage, and they drain HP too, but they are not social to each other, so you can shoot into the very thick of them. The drop is not 100%, but from the 4th-5th mob you will knock the item out.
Elven Village. Return to Hierarch Asterios in the temple. Hand over: Plague Dust.
Return to Asterios. He asks you to go to the same mobs again and this time knock out 5 items. Well, what can you do, we go there again.
Shadow of the Mother Tree. Hunt Plague Zombie (lv. 14) until you have: Plague Dust ×5.
If you do not manage in one go and the mobs run out, just wait a little, the respawn is about 1-2 minutes. By the way, the mobs go down splendidly to warriors, unlike mages.
Elven Village. Return to Hierarch Asterios in the temple to complete the quest. Hand over: Plague Dust ×5.
Having knocked out all five items, we return to the start NPC. We get the adena, politely say thank you and set off to do the next quest for adena. We are getting rich before our eyes.

It was a plague zombie, the spirit of a person who died from the plague. The dust from the zombie's flesh has been the cause of the contamination. A large amount of the dust is needed to perform a purification ritual. Hunt the plague zombies.
