Merciless Punishment
Merciless Punishment is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 10–16. It starts with Hatos in Orc Village.

The quest Merciless Punishment, for the no-grade sword 
Butcher's Sword, 100 small healing potions, 7000 soulshots for beginners and music crystals. Start level: 12. Start location: the orc village. Start NPC: Urutu Chief Hatos (Hatos). No requirements. Not repeatable. Only for orcs.
Orc Village. Take the quest from Urutu Chief Hatos.
The quest is taken from level twelve from Urutu Chief Hatos, who is in the Kings Hall, on the stairs between the first and the second floors. Some descriptions say that this quest is taken at level 10, but in all probability that is from later chronicles, as the reward there has adena, exp and even SP. On Interlude there is none of that, and the quest is given from level 12. And on C1 there are neither healing potions nor crystals. In general the orcs were of course left short, because they have only one weapon quest, and that weapon is only for warriors, while for mages there is no quest weapon at all. You may say that the dwarves also have only one weapon quest, but the dwarves are all warriors, they have no mages. So the orcs level with what they have.
Talk to Centurion Parugon.
Urutu Chief Hatos tells you that a group of spies operates in the orc territory, whose activity has to be stopped urgently. The quest mob is called Baranka's Messenger, but to learn its exact location you first have to talk to Centurion Parugon, who stands at the northern gate of the orc village.
Cave of Trials (teleport from Orc Village). Kill Varangka's Messenger (lv. 12) to get:
Letter to Human.The task says that the mobs are somewhere near the Frozen Waterfalls. Listen to nobody and boldly teleport to the entrance of the Cave of Trials: everything is close by there. Go by the map and the mark on it, you will not go wrong. Run along the road; soon you see a rise on the right, and further on the mobs stand. Keep in mind, first, that the mob has big guards, and after you bring the central mob down the guards do not disappear but go on kicking you. It is advisable to have at least some buff, a few normal no-grade soulshots and a few normal healing potions. Or maybe some healer who has strayed into the orc territory turns up.
Orc Village. Return to Urutu Chief Hatos. Hand over:
Letter to Human.Second, you will have to beat this little heap of mobs as many as three times, because the start NPC gives three tasks, which differ only in the name of the paper to be knocked out of the mob. In short, after the first time you return to Urutu Chief Hatos; he has a very silly dialogue window (at least on the Advext build of Interlude), and in the dialogue you choose to continue the quest: then the item is removed and the NPC gives the second task. There is no need to go to the centurion any more, fly straight to the address you already know.
Cave of Trials (teleport from Orc Village). Kill Varangka's Messenger (lv. 12) to get:
Letter to Dark Elf.If the quest mobs have not respawned yet, you wait, beat them again, get the item again and go to the village again.
Orc Village. Return to Urutu Chief Hatos. Hand over:
Letter to Dark Elf.Cave of Trials (teleport from Orc Village). Kill Varangka's Messenger (lv. 12) to get:
Letter to Elf.Well, you have already understood that you will be sent here a third time too; we repeat all the actions and get the third item.
Orc Village. Return to Urutu Chief Hatos to complete the quest. Hand over:
Letter to Elf. You receive: Butcher's Sword.We return to the start NPC, hand the item in and get the reward.
