Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss

Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 10–14. It starts with Gouph in Dwarven Village.

The Star Diamond is one of only 12 on the entire continent! The Dwarves are planning a Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss!

Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss walkthrough

The quest Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss, for soulshots, a no-grade weapon, healing potions and music crystals. Start level: 10. Start location: the dwarven village. Start NPC: Collector Gouph (Gouph). No requirements. Not repeatable. Only for dwarves.

  1. Dwarven Village. Take the quest from Collector Gouph.

The quest is taken from the NPC Collector Gouph (from the tenth level), who stands in the farthest house by the exit from the village, on the left side. He sends you to dash round the village from NPC to NPC, exchanging some quest items; I will not list all of them, everything is visible in the quest tab.

  2. Talk to Weapon Merchant Reep.

  3. Find Carrier Torocco behind the warehouse.

I will only say that when you look for Carrier Torocco, he stands either in the warehouse or behind it: if you look behind the house from the side where the passage is blocked, you will see him there, but if you run round the house from the other side, where there is a passage, you may not see him. No trouble: we go into the warehouse to the place where he roughly stands behind the wall and write in the chat twice: /target Torocco. The first time he is caught in the target, the second time the dialogue window with him appears.

  4. Frozen Valley. Talk to Miner Maron.

  5. Dwarven Village. Find Blacksmith Brunon in the smithy.

We run like this until Blacksmith Brunon sends us to beat the goblins Goblin Brigand Lieutenant of the 10th level.

  6. Western Mining Zone (teleport from Dwarven Village). Hunt Goblin Brigand Lieutenant (lv. 10) until you have: Aquamarine ×10, Chrysoberyl ×10.

They are in the Western Mining Zone; the easiest way is to run along the path that leaves the far end of the village (where Gouph, the start NPC of this quest, stands). We run to the very end of the path, cross the little river and see the goblins. In general all three kinds of mobs on these glades (the goblins, the bats and the flying mugs with ears) are needed for quests, so we take all the available quests at once and only then go to the mobs. There is a nuance here: if you have taken the quest Brigands Sweep, it will hinder this quest, because items for it drop from the goblin too; so before running to the goblins hand that quest in for adena and give it up, and after finishing this quest you can take it again. We knock 10 Aquamarines and 10 Chrysoberyls out of the goblins.

  7. Dwarven Village. Return to Blacksmith Brunon in the smithy. Hand over: Aquamarine ×10, Chrysoberyl ×10.

We return to the blacksmith and hand the items in.

  8. Return to Collector Gouph.

  10. Talk to Warehouse Keeper Murdoc.

  11. Talk to Warehouse Keeper Airy.

Again we dash round the village until Airy in the warehouse sends us to knock the Star Diamond out of a Blade Bat (still on the same glade where the goblins are).

  13. Dwarven Village. Return to Collector Gouph to complete the quest. Hand over: Star Diamond. You receive: Silversmith Hammer.

Having got the diamond, we return to hand the quest in to the start NPC Collector Gouph. The reward of the quest: 7000 no-grade soulshots for beginners, 50 music crystals (10 of each kind) and 100 small healing potions. And of course the little axe Silversmith Hammer: nothing special, but it will do for a start.

Tips

  • The little axe is of course low no-grade, but it can be upgraded to Dwarven Mace (P.Atk 17) for 31k adena. And the Dwarven Mace can then be upgraded to the top no-grade hammer Flanged Mace (P.Atk 31) for 209k adena.

Collector Gouph of the Bronze Key Guild has purchased a rare star diamond from Trader Reep of the Silver Scales Guild. It is one of only twelve on the continent! 2. Carrier Torocco

Trader Reep informs you that he gave the star diamond to Carrier Torocco to deliver to Gouph. Find Torocco and ask him about the diamond.

  4. Gambling can make you a loser, too!

Carrier Torocco is usually quite trustworthy, but when he starts drinking he inevitably starts gambling. He got drunk last night and lost everything he had in a dice game with Blacksmith Brunon. Could this mean that Blacksmith Brunon has the star diamond?

    Go to: Blacksmith Brunon

  5. Brunon's Request

Indeed, Blacksmith Brunon won the star diamond in a dice game! He tells you that he will give it to you if you recover the aquamarine and chrysoberyl that were stolen by a goblin brigand lieutenant.

    Go to: Western Mining Zone

The gem box doesn't contain the star diamond, only a strange looking piece of coal! Return to Blacksmith Brunon and demand an explanation!

    Go to: Blacksmith Brunon

  9. A Chest of Mistaken Identity

Originally, the coal mass belongs to Warehouse Keeper Murdoc. Go and see him with the letter written by Brunon to exchange the chest that originally had star diamond with the letter.

    Go to: Warehouse Keeper Murdoc

  10. The Diamond Is Gone!

The star diamond was eaten by a bat that Warehouse Keeper Airy keeps as a pet! The bat escaped out of an open window! Go quickly and speak with Airy!

    Go to: Warehouse Keeper Airy

  11. Who keeps a bat as a pet, anyway?

Warehouse Keeper Airy asks you to find her pet, a blade bat. Kill the bat and get the diamond.

    Go to: Western Mining Zone

  12. Small Sacrifice, Great Reward

You finally recover the star diamond. Pray for the soul of the poor bat then take the star diamond to Collector Gouph.

    Go to: Collector Gouph
