Skirmish with the Werewolves walkthrough

The quest Skirmish with the Werewolves, for adena. Start level: 9. Start location: the orc village. Start NPC: Prefect Brukurse (Brukurse). No requirements. Repeatable. Only for orcs. Reward: 3500 adena plus bonuses.

1. Orc Village. Take the quest from Prefect Brukurse.

   The quest is taken from the ninth level from Prefect Brukurse, who is in the Kings Hall, on the first floor, in the room for warriors.

   

   

2. Hunt Maraku Werewolf (lv. 9), Maraku Werewolf Chieftain (lv. 14) until you have: Maraku Werewolf Head ×40. Where: Immortal Plateau, Northern Region, Frozen Waterfalls.

   You have to hunt the mobs Maraku Werewolf and Maraku Werewolf Chieftain until 40 skulls Maraku Werewolf Head are knocked out of them. There are plenty of mobs next to the Frozen Waterfall. I never beat the first mobs for this quest: they are level 9 and you have to run to them; it is much handier to teleport to the Waterfall, where the mobs in the fields are level 14 and the drop of the items from them is 100%. From time to time totems also drop from the mobs as a bonus; they go into the ordinary inventory and can be sold to a shop. The chance is not great, I got about 4 totems per 40 skulls. I did not check whether totems go on dropping after you farm 40 skulls, quite possibly they do (other quests have it), but it is simpler and more profitable to hand the quest in and take it again.

   

   

3. Return to Prefect Brukurse to complete the quest. Hand over: Maraku Werewolf Head ×40.

   We return to the start NPC, hand the items in and get the adena. Then we sell the totems to a shop. The quest seems to be repeatable and rather profitable, in spite of the 40 mobs. The reward is 3500, plus for the totems I got 2400 (4 at 600 adena each), almost 6000 adena in all, and the bear quest is done close by too; it makes sense to bother, especially on x1: you have to level somewhere anyway, and here there is a freebie in the form of quests as well.

   You have collected 40 Maraku werewolf heads. Take them to Prefect Brukurse.
