Spirit of Mirrors walkthrough
The quest Spirit of Mirrors, for the no-grade weapon for mages
Wand of Adept, spiritshots (only for mages), healing potions and music crystals. Start level: 10. Start location: the human village. Start NPC: Grand Magister Gallint (Gallint). No requirements. Not repeatable. Only for humans. In the C1 chronicles only the weapon is given, nothing else.
Einhovant's School of Magic. Take the quest from Grand Magister Gallint. You receive:
Gallint's Oak Wand ×3.The quest is taken from level ten from Grand Magister Gallint, who is in the school of magic. That is the building where all the mages start, I hope you still remember the place. Though the quest is supposedly for mages, both warriors and mages can do it, only their reward will differ; in any case everybody gets the mage club, both warriors and mages. It comes in handy even for warriors, as it can be sold to a shop at once and the sword upgraded with the money. So everybody should do the quest. The essence of the quest is to find three quest mobs and farm them with the clubs that Gallint gives you. These clubs go into the ordinary inventory; you take one of them in your hands and bring a quest mob down. After some spirit or other passes from the mob into the club, it becomes a quest one, leaves your hands and goes into the quest inventory. And you can take another club and go to another quest mob.
Talking Island, Eastern Territory. Kill Spirit Of Mirrors (lv. 9) to get:
Spiritbound Wand. The first of the mobs is a frog, and it is next to the ordinary frogs, only a little further: you have to cross the little bridge and look for the quest mob on the right. There is one nuance of the farm here. I did this quest many times, and the very first time I failed. I dumbly came up to the mob and nuked it down with Wind Strikes. And the item was not given. I had to wait for several respawns of the mob, but the item was still not given. Then I tried it another way: first I blasted with a Wind Strike and then finished the mob off by hand with the quest club without any magic. The item was given, that is, the weapon left my hands and went into the quest inventory. After that I worked out this tactic for myself: first I hit the quest mob a couple of times with ordinary physical blows and then finish it with Wind Strikes. The item has been given at the first try ever since. And here is what else I noticed: on different builds it differs; on some, after the quest club goes into the quest inventory, the next club gets into your hands by itself, and on other servers you have to take the new club yourself. The quest frog has the longest respawn (about 4 minutes), and if the server has only just opened, a decent queue of those eager for the weapon lines up here.
Obelisk of Victory. Kill Spirit Of Mirrors (lv. 10) to get:
Spiritbound Wand. The next quest mob is not far from the first. You have to run across the little river between the obelisk and the glade with the orcs; there, across the road, is a small hillock, and on it stands the quest orc.
Elven Ruins. Kill Spirit Of Mirrors (lv. 11) to get:
Spiritbound Wand. With the last quest mob it is all complicated, because you have to pass through the waterfall and get to the other side of the island, where there are many spiders of levels 15-17, half of them aggressive. The first time I did not go through the waterfall at all but over the tops of the mountains, which can be climbed both to the left and to the right of the waterfall. Later it turned out I had climbed there for nothing. The easiest way to get there is through the waterfall after all, and at once run across by the shortest way to the sea. Even if some aggressive spider stands there, drag it along and bring it down in four nukes. At the cliff we stand facing the sea and run along that cliff to the right until we see the descent to the coast. There stands the third quest mob.
Einhovant's School of Magic. Return to Grand Magister Gallint to complete the quest. Hand over:
Spiritbound Wand,
Spiritbound Wand,
Spiritbound Wand. You receive:
Wand of Adept. After we get the third item, we return to Gallint and hand everything to him. We get the weapon Wand of Adept, 3000 spiritshots for beginners and 500 ordinary spiritshots (warriors are not given them), small healing potions and crystals. Mages can at once upgrade the club to the Cedar Staff, warriors can simply sell it to a shop. Do not be much upset that the Cedar Staff is a two-handed staff: at the next upgrade it can be changed for a one-handed weapon, such are simply the rules there.

Young traveler of an alien race, how did you chance to journey to this remote island? I'm sure the Human world must seem fascinating to your eyes. I do wish I could speak with you longer, but unfortunately I have pressing matters to attend to, and cannot spend my time in idle conversation.
When we both have more time, won't you tell me about your homeland?
(Quest for Human characters.)
Recently I have been studying the Spirit Of Mirrors. This spirit does not have a set form and reflects the form of others, like a mirror. The name Spirit Of Mirrors comes from that trait. I think that the magical creature called the doppelganger may also be an evolved form of the Spirit Of Mirrors.
But there has been a problem! I don't know why, but the magic defense field that I built around the School of Magic disappeared a few days ago. Three of the spirits of mirrors kept in my research lab escaped during that time.
I need to recapture the escaped spirits before they harm anyone, but my priority is in examining the shields around the magic school. So, please help me. Do you think you can find the spirits of mirrors for me? If you help, I will give you the wand of the adept as a reward. It is a very useful weapon for those walking the path of a mage.
- Say you will help
Thank you. Fortunately, I think the spirits have gone into the woods rather than to the village. Things may become complicated if a Spirit Of Mirrors encounters a dangerous beast and changes into its identical form, so they must be caught as soon as possible.
To capture the Spirit Of Mirrors, you need this oak wand. Weaken the spirit by attacking it with sword or magic, then deliver the finishing blow with this oak wand, and you will be able to seal the spirit within the wand. I will give you three enchanted wands, one for each spirit that has escaped.
The village guards may have found some helpful evidence during their patrol. It may be a good idea to stop by the village and speak to the guards.
Go and capture all three escaped spirits of mirrors. Don't forget! You can only capture them using the oak wands I gave you.
You might get some leads on the spirits of mirrors by speaking to the guards of the village.
You have captured all the escaped spirits of mirrors! Thank you! Now that I have restored all the force fields around the School of Wizardry, the spirits will never escape again.
I will give you this as a sign of my appreciation. It may not seem like much, but it will help bring out the hidden magic potential of its user. As Einhovant always says, true strength must be found within.
I don't know why, but the magic defense field that I erected around the school of magic disappeared a few days ago. I have restored most of the shields, but I am worried that the spirits that were kept within the school for research have escaped to the outside.
If some spirits have escaped, I may have to ask you to go and capture them ...

Yesterday afternoon, as I was guarding the students of the magic school while they gathered materials near the Obelisk of Victory, a great toad crawled by. I wasn't paying much attention to it, but all of a sudden, that great toad turned into an Orc Warrior! I was startled and about to draw my sword, but I guess he felt threatened, escaping beyond the falls.
I rubbed my eyes and asked the magister from the magic school what was going on and he had also clearly seen the toad turn into an Orc Warrior. I have no idea what happened.

A few days ago, while patrolling the western parts of the School of Wizardry, I encountered a werewolf near a bridge. I drew my bow and chased after him, but all of a sudden, his body started to waver, and he turned into a great toad! Do you think there are some werewolves that know how to perform strange magic?

Last night, while patrolling the west coast of the island, I saw an Orc transforming into a werewolf! I thought I may have been seeing things, because I was so tired, but I asked the other guards and they all say that they saw the same thing!
