Ng/D Equipment upgrade

Basics
Lu4 has greatly widened what NPC merchants can upgrade.
NG and D-grade Weapons, Armor and Jewelry can now be upgraded: hand in the old piece, pay a little Adena and get the better item back. The cost depends on the price gap between the two items.
- NG items are upgraded at no markup, so buying a Top NG sword outright costs the same as upgrading any NG sword to it step by step.
- D-grade items carry a small markup, so upgrading them step by step costs a little more than buying the final item straight away.
The best NG weapon can also be swapped for a low D weapon with a special coupon, which you get with the 1st Profession. Armor and Jewelry can be upgraded only within their own grade.

All prices are shown without the castle owner's tax!
Depending on the tax rate, the price can be up to 15% higher. NG gear upgrades are not taxed.
To save money, trade in towns without a tax, if there are any.
