Seeds of Chaos walkthrough

The second subclass quest of the Kamael, taken at level 75 with the Star of Destiny from Fate's Whisper. The other races brew an elixir in Mimir's Elixir at this point; a Kamael instead follows a trail from the forest near Rune to the Valley of Saints and ends in Nornil's Garden, where the seed of chaos inside him is awakened. Apart from two hunts the quest is a long run between talkers. The reward is the right to a subclass and Scroll: Enchant Weapon (A-Grade).

The wizard and the echo crystal

1. Kamael Village. Take the quest from Hierarch Kekropus.

   The hierarch sits in the main building of the village. Show him the star and he sends you to a wizard in the forest near Rune.

   

   

2. Forest of the Dead (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Mysterious Wizard.

   He stands in the north of the forest, on the side of Rune. When he asks for a moment of your time, do not refuse and ask what he wants.

   

   

3. Swamp of Screams (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Needle Stakato Drone (lv. 73), Needle Stakato Drone (lv. 74) until you have: Black Echo Crystal.

   One crystal is enough, but it does not fall from the first kill.

   

   

4. Forest of the Dead (teleport from Rune Township). Return to Mysterious Wizard. Hand over: Black Echo Crystal.

   Give him the crystal and say you are ready: Katenar appears beside him for a couple of minutes.

5. Talk to Katenar.

   If you let him vanish, ask the wizard to call him again. He names the one you must find next: Harkilgamed, who hides in the Valley of Saints.

   

The Valley of Saints

6. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Rock.

   The stone lies to the left of the entrance of the valley. Talk to it and Harkilgamed steps out of hiding, also for a couple of minutes.

   

7. Talk to Harkilgamed.

   He asks for medallions from the creatures of the valley. Take the task from him before you start to hunt: kills made earlier do not count.

   

8. Hunt Shout of Splendor (lv. 65), Alliance of Splendor (lv. 65), Signet of Splendor (lv. 66), Crown of Splendor (lv. 66), Fang of Splendor (lv. 67), Wailing of Splendor (lv. 67) until you have: Shining Medallion ×62.

   They keep to the north of the valley. The easy way there is the road along its right side: walk to the end of it and jump down.

   

   

9. Return to Rock.

   Call him out again.

10. Return to Harkilgamed. Hand over: Shining Medallion ×62.

Nornil's Garden

11. Kamael Village. Return to Hierarch Kekropus.

    He tells you about the last stage and sends you to his deputy.

12. Isle of Souls. Talk to Vice Hierarch Mao.

    The vice hierarch waits at the harbor of the island. He moves you into the garden.

    

    

13. Nornil's Garden. Talk to Rodenpicula.

    

14. Talk to Mother Nornil.

    She is the statue behind Rodenpicula.

    

15. Return to Rodenpicula.

    Keep talking until she gives her consent to the ritual.

16. Return to Mother Nornil.

17. Return to Rodenpicula to complete the quest. You receive: Scroll: Enchant Weapon (A-Grade).

Quest journal

1. Possessor of the Star of Destiny

   If you possess the Star of Destiny, you may be guided by the Lady in Blue. Hierarch Kekropus instructs you to visit a Wizard in Forest of the Dead.

2. Wizard's Favor

   The mysterious Wizard asks you to bring him a Black Echo Crystal, which is probably in the possession of Needle Stakato in the Swamp of Screams.

   After you gave the Wizard the Echo Crystal, he tells you to wait for someone who has information you need...

   Katenar tells you to find Harkilgamed, who is said to be hiding somewhere in the Valley of Saints.

6. More Waiting

   The Wizard tells you to wait a little longer. Do you listen to him?

7. The One to Meet

   The person you're waiting for seems to be near. Talk to the Wizard.

8. Blood Jewel

   Katenar orders you to bring him the Blood Jewel, which is held by the Vampire Wizard who appears here only at night. Defeat him and take the jewel.

9. Return to Wizard

   You have obtained the Blood Jewel. Return to the Wizard.

10. The Cursed Village

    Katenar orders you to deliver the troublesome jewel to Kurstin in Cursed Village. He cautions you to only visit the town during the day, however.

11. To the Valley of Saints

    In the letter left from Katenar, it says to go see Harkilgamed hidden in the Saint's Valley. Let us go and look for him.

12. Help Harkilgamed

    Harkilgamed asks you to help throw his enemies into confusion by attacking the nearby monsters. Help him!
