Pailaka - Song of Ice and Fire

Pailaka - Song of Ice and Fire is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 36–42. It starts with Inspector Adler in Gludin Village.

On Low x7 the rewards of the Pailaka quests are changed (among them a Premium Account or a Premium Card); on Mid x20 and PvP x500 Pailaka - Injured Dragon (73+) is the one described.

First Pailaka quest. Energy is included in the quest reward. Upon completing, a fixed amount of energy points are recovered. (If completion takes place while energy is full, you do not receive any additional energy.)

Pailaka - Song of Ice and Fire walkthrough

The first of the three Pailaka instances: a solo run through a copy of the Forgotten Temple for characters of level 36–42, done once per character. You get a quest weapon at the entrance, kill five spirits, improve the weapon twice on the way and leave with Pailaka Ring and Pailaka Earring. The timer is 60 minutes.

  1. Gludin Village. Find Inspector Adler next to the temple and take the quest.

  2. Talk to Inspector Sinai. You receive: Sprite's Sword.

    Together with the swords he gives a book: it names the next boss after every kill.

  3. Kill Hillas (lv. 36).

    The first boss waits alone on the water side of the temple, a few rooms from the start. The monsters on the way drop healing potions and other useful bottles.

  4. Talk to Temple Inspector. Hand over: Sprite's Sword. You receive: Enhanced Sprite's Sword.

    One of these inspectors stands in the room behind you. The enhanced swords add a healing skill.

  5. Kill Papion (lv. 36).

    He is beyond the rooms with stairs and has company: clear the monsters around him first.

  6. Kill Kinsus (lv. 39).

    Cross to the fire side. Kill the monsters and break every vase in the room before you touch the boss.

  7. Return to Temple Inspector. Hand over: Enhanced Sprite's Sword. You receive: Sword of Ice and Fire.

    The final form of the sword brings a strong attack skill: use it on the last two bosses.

  8. Kill Gargos (lv. 39).

  9. Kill Adiantum (lv. 42).

    The way to him runs through an underwater corridor that starts in the room with stairs between the water side and the fire side.

  10. Talk to Inspector Adler to complete the quest. You receive: Pailaka Ring, Pailaka Earring.

    He appears in the boss room as soon as the fight ends.

Tips

  • You may fight with your own weapon if it is better than the quest swords: the kills count either way.
  • A scroll of escape takes you out to the inspector in Gludin, for example to renew buffs. He lets you back in: the monsters you killed stay dead, but you start from the entrance again.
  • Leave the party before you take the reward: in a party the vitality bonus is much smaller.

    The Sprite's Sword was restored to its true form. Go to the place revealed by the Pailaka Book of Secrets, defeat the final Sprite of Fire, and proceed to the center of the chaos!
