Trade with the Ivory Tower
Trade with the Ivory Tower is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 8–16. It starts with Vollodos in Dark Elf Village.
Trader Vollodos, who's had extensive dealing with the Mystics of the Ivory Tower, tells you that lately many Mystics are looking for fungus spores. He offers you a reward if you'll bring him fungus spores. He tells you that you can obtain spores by slaying spore fungi in the Dark Forest. Hunt green fungi and blood fungi.
Trade with the Ivory Tower walkthrough
The quest Trade with the Ivory Tower, for 3000 adena. Start level: 8. Start location: the village of the dark elves. Start NPC: Trader Vollodos (Vollodos). No requirements. Repeatable. No race restrictions, any race can do it.
Dark Elf Village. Take the quest from Grocer Vollodos.
The quest for adena is available from level 8 and is taken from Trader Vollodos, who stands in the shop of all sorts of stuff (the grocery shop) in the village of the dark elves.
The Dark Forest (teleport from Dark Elf Village). Hunt Green Fungus (lv. 9), Blood Fungus (lv. 12) until you have:
Spore Sac ×10.10 items have to be knocked out of various mushrooms; there are two kinds of mobs, Green Fungus and Blood Fungus. If you are level 8, without buffs and without a top no-grade weapon, it is not recommended to tackle the second ones: they are level 12 and stand among aggressive mobs. The first are level 9, though they also have to be approached carefully, because they are social, and shooting a Wind Strike into a crowd of mushrooms is fraught with consequences. The mobs are not far from the Dark Omens catacomb. You run through the western exit from the village along the road until you see the first mushrooms on the left. On the left are the mushrooms of level 9, and to the right of the road those of level 12. Reading the description of this quest, you will surely be glad, thinking that now you will farm a lot of adena. Sure, as if it were that simple. The thing is that the drop of the items from the mobs is really very bad: by my count, when I last did it, an item dropped from about every sixth or seventh mob, and running back and forth takes very long. But in any case it is your business, and yours to decide.
Dark Elf Village. Return to Grocer Vollodos to complete the quest. Hand over:
Spore Sac ×10.Having knocked out all 10 items, we return to the start NPC, take our 3k adena and, if we wish, take the quest again right away.

I travel to Oren's Ivory Tower once or twice a year. What kind of place is the Ivory Tower of Oren, you ask? It is the headquarters of Mystics, as well as an educational institute, and a place where Mystics gather. You can get useful magic potions and materials from the Traders or Mystics of the Ivory Tower.
But during my recent visit, some of them asked me to bring them magic materials that can only be found in our Dark Forest. They said that they would pay handsomely for the items they need. So I've recently started to sell goods such as the wings of an imp or an arachne's web there. I'm looking to see if I can gather some more precious items for sale. I will ask for your help when the time comes. I'm going to need more hands if I want to gather large amounts of any item.

A few of the Ivory Tower Mystics have asked me to bring them magic materials that can only be found in our Dark Forest. They pay handsomely for the materials that I bring them, and it occurred to me that this might be the beginning of a good business. So I plan to go into it a bit deeper.
During my last visit I noticed that there were many Mystics looking for mushroom spores. These spores can only be obtained from the green fungus or the blood fungus that appear in our Dark Forest. The fungi are strange, mushroom-shaped life forms that have formed from the fermented spores carried over from the Sea of Spores. It is dangerous for a mere businessman like myself to face the fungi alone. Which brings me to my point. Do you think you could go and get me some? I will pay you well for them.
- Say you will help
You must travel far from the village to find the fungus. They grow in the deep southern region of the Dark Forest, and also near the School of Dark Arts. You can get the Spore Sac by killing the fungus, but sometimes the Spore Sac explodes when the fungus is killed, so you will probably have to hunt many fungi.
Gather ten Spore Sacs and bring them back to me. Your payment will be more than fair, so do not worry.
Weren't you supposed to bring me ten fungus Spore Sacs? If you bring me ten of them as promised, I will give you the reward. Hurry! The carriage travelling to the Ivory Tower leaves in a few days, and I must have the goods ready by then.
This is undoubtedly a fungus Spore Sac. Thank you. I'll compensate you as I promised. I am sure that the magicians of Ivory Tower will also be satisfied. I wonder what I can get in return for this trade.
Come by the shop anytime. May the protection of Shilen be with you.
