Collect Spores
Collect Spores is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 8–13. It starts with Herbiel in Elven Village.
The Sea of Spores was created by an evil magic set loose in the Great War over 2000 years ago! The evil poison has endured through the millennia, and even now is crossing the mountains, making its way straight towards the Elven Forest! The Elves are frantically trying to find a way to stop it.
Collect Spores walkthrough
The quest Collect Spores, for 3500 adena. Start level: 8. Start location: the village of the light elves. Start NPC: Trader Herbiel (Herbiel). No requirements. Repeatable. No race restrictions, any race can do it.
Elven Village. Take the quest from Grocer Herbiel.
The mushroom quest known to everybody, known because it is repeatable and because any race can do it, so at the opening of servers you cannot squeeze through near the mushrooms, there are always heaps of people here. The quest is available from level 8 and is taken from Trader Herbiel, who stands in the grocery shop.
Hunt Spore Fungus (lv. 9) until you have:
Spore Sac ×10.You have to hunt the mobs Spore Fungus, from which little pouches of spores drop. There are plenty of mushrooms around the village. The drop of the items is not great; to be honest, I farmed the adena quest of the dwarven village faster with my dwarf girl: though the reward there is only 2000 adena, the mobs stand right at the exit from the village. But all the same people beat precisely the mushroom quest, because at the dwarves you are not given the quest if you are not a dwarf.
Return to Grocer Herbiel to complete the quest. Hand over:
Spore Sac ×10.Having farmed 10 items, we return to the start NPC. We get 3500 adena; you can at once take the quest again and run to lay in more mushrooms.

Research of Spores
The Elven Forest is being slowly contaminated by the poisonous Sea of Spores. The Elven Hierarchs are researching a neutralizer with the aid of Trader Herbiel. Herbiel asks for spore powder, essential to the research. Collect 10 spore sacs from spore fungi found in the Elven Forest and take them to Herbiel.

Long ago, we Elves dwelled in a beautiful land east of the Elven Forest, beyond the mountains. But it was scarred by powerful dark magic used during the Human-Elven War. Now it is a poisonous expanse called the Sea of Spores.
Worse, that noxious area is slowly expanding, contaminating our forest and gradually eroding our magical defense field. Unless we can stop it, I fear it is only a matter of time before our village is destroyed. Perhaps when you are more experienced, my young friend, you will help us fight this menace.

We are attempting to gather information on 2 fronts. The renowned Spellsinger Adria Lumingshine is currently on the shores of the Sea of Spores, while Hierarch Asterios is attempting to neutralize the poisons that have seeped into our forest. I have been assisting the Hierarch's research by collecting and refining the leaves, roots and spores of various plants.
However, he recently asked me to find a specific kind of spore pollen that is carried here by the wind from the Sea of Spores. The pollen is so fine that the only way to collect it is to extract it from Spore Fungus.
I'm needed here to oversee the extraction process, which means I need a volunteer to go to the forest and collect Spore Sacs from Spore Fungi. Will you help me?

Go to the Elven Forest, slay the Spore Fungi there and return her with 10 Spore Sacs. Keep in mind that the Spore Sacs are very delicate and may tear unless you are extremely careful. May Eva's blessing go with you!
