Saga of the Shillien Saint
Saga of the Shillien Saint is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 76+. It starts with Anastia in Hardin's Academy.
Anastia tells you to go see the Saint of Light who came to Goddard and listen to her advice on your future.
Saga of the Shillien Saint walkthrough
The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Shillien Saint (Succession to the Legend Shillien Saint): Shillien Elder becomes Shillien Saint.
Allies and the first amulet
Hardin's Academy. Take the quest from Magister Anastia.
The quest Succession to the Legend - Shillien Saint is taken on reaching level 76 in the private academy of Hardin (teleport from Giran or Oren) from Magister Anastia (she stands to the left of the entrance).
Town of Goddard. Talk to Saint of Light Agnes.
She sends you to Goddard to the NPC Agnes (she stands at the side of the magic shop).
Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Chef Duncan.
She in turn sends you on to the Hot Springs to the cook Duncan. Chef Duncan asks you to bring him the Ice Crystal; we turn to Jeremy, who stands nearby, and do the quest for the Ice Crystal.
Talk to Chef Duncan again. You receive:
Offering.Town of Goddard. Return to Saint of Light Agnes. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 1.We give the crystal to Duncan, get an item from him and take it to Agnes in Goddard; she tells you how to get to the first Tablet of Vision and gives the first resonance amulet.
First three tablets
Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The first Tablet of Vision is the same for all professions; it stands not far from the Tower of Insolence (teleport from Aden to the entrance of the tower): we turn left and run to the tablet.
Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have:
Resonance Amulet - 2.Now we have to visit the second tablet; for all professions the second tablet is in the Valley of Saints, there are two of them there, and we need the one on the right side; it is more convenient to run to it from the Frozen Labyrinth through the passage that connects the Frozen Labyrinth with the Valley of Saints. At the second tablet a heap of angels meets us; they all have to be killed, and then the resonance amulet drops from the last one. We are no warriors, there was no pike at hand, so I put on the Majestic heavy set, took S-grade duals in hand and went to beat the angels... I fell. That was my first and last fall in the whole quest. I took the white healing potions, buffed with my prophet, added my own Vampiric Rage 4 and went again. I beat the angels and healed myself with the prophet (out of party), and the amulet dropped, strangely enough.
Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Now we set off for the third Tablet of Vision; ours stands in the Border Outpost: we teleport from Aden to the Ancient Battleground and run through the Border Outpost to the tablet.
Varka Silenos Barracks (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Kill Fallen Angel Naverius (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 3.Out of the third tablet jumps a monster that has to be killed. I start beating with the duals, take off half its HP, and the mob hangs debuffs on me: on Might, Shield and Guidance; in fact all the stats are lowered there so much that the character can barely move its arms. Bear in mind that if you heal the Shillien Elder with somebody else, the mob vanishes, but then the character does not fall. On the sixth try I thought of reading what is written on the debuffs: it turns out they have to be overwritten with your own buffs Might, Shield and Guidance, and then everything is fine; I had to put on the Blue Wolf mage set and try to beat the mob and buff at the same time, I even put the skills on handy F keys.
Return to Tablet of Vision.
But this time the mob for some reason did not debuff, and I killed it calmly. We get the resonance amulet, talk to the tablet and set off for Goddard, to the dark mages guild, to Magister Kamilen (she stands to the left of the entrance).
Divine Stone and the fourth tablet
Town of Goddard. Find Magister Kamilen in the Dark Elven Guild.
She urgently needs the Divine Stone of Wisdom, which can be obtained either in Ketra or in Varka, so we choose a side and go to do the quests. Note that she asks whose side you will take in the standoff between the orcs and the goats; that is, if you are going to make the alliance with Varka, choose the line about Varka, and if with Ketra, the one about Ketra. We do it in order: first the quest up to the second alliance level: with Ketra it is Alliance with Ketra Orcs, or with Varka it is Alliance with Varka Silenos; then the quest Magical Power of Water or Magical Power of Fire respectively; we get the Divine Stone of Wisdom and return to Kamilen, and she sends us on to the fourth tablet.
Talk to Magister Kamilen again. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 4.Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The fourth Tablet of Vision is also the same for all classes; the easiest way to reach it is to teleport to Ketra: at the entrance we turn left and run along the road until we find the tablet.
Halisha's minions and the last tablets
Town of Goddard. Return to Magister Kamilen in the Dark Elven Guild.
We return to Kamilen, and she offers either to kill 700 mobs in the Shrine of Loyalty (teleport from Goddard to the Wall of Argos and from there on foot, or the noblesse teleport straight to the location) or to go through the four sepulchers in the Imperial Tomb; we are not proud, we will beat the mobs.
Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have:
Halisha's Mark ×700.We come to the place and beat 700 mobs (not by ourselves, of course: we ask somebody, I did it with my Spellhowler); out of the 701st mob (from about the 695th it is better for the Shillien Elder to hit them herself, and the last one she must kill on her own; if something goes wrong, 20 Halisha's Marks are taken away and you have to finish off 20 more mobs) a quest mob jumps out (rather feeble, by the way).
Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 5.Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
We get the resonance amulet from the mob and run to the fifth tablet; it is right here, in the Wall of Argos: from the Goddard teleport go left and along the left wall to the third glade with the deer, it stands there at the end.
Bayou Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The fifth tablet tells you that the last, sixth one can be found on the way to the Giant's Cave; not likely: it is easier to teleport to the Forsaken Plains (from Aden), and from the teleport point we run to the tablet either along the top or along the bottom. We talk, and a monster climbs out and starts beating the NPC; the mob has to be beaten a little, it vanishes, and Abyssal Saintess Elcadia gives the last amulet for the tablet.
Talk to Tablet of Vision again.
Hardin's Academy. Return to Magister Anastia to complete the quest.
We activate the tablet. And that is it: we return to the academy of Hardin and receive the third profession. Congrats!
Tips
- Collect
Ice Crystal and 
Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip. - The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
- Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.
