Quest: Possessor of a Precious Soul - 3

Possessor of a Precious Soul - 3 is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 65–75. It starts with Caradine in Town of Goddard.

Caradine asks you to help the Lady of the Lake recover her lost strength.

Noblesse quest, part 3 walkthrough

The third part of the noblesse quest is taken after level 65 from the NPC Caradine (Caradine) in Goddard; the second part is Possessor of a Precious Soul - 2. Everything is simple here.

  1. Town of Goddard. Take the quest from Caradine.

  2. Talk to Ossian.

  3. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Pilgrim of Splendor (lv. 63) until you have: Ring of Goddess: Waterbinder.

    First we knock out two quest items in the Valley of Saints, one from Pilgrim of Splendor, the other from Judge of Splendor; everything about these mobs is in the description of the location (Valley of Saints). The drop is very bad, you may be at it for a very long time.

  4. Hunt Judge of Splendor (lv. 67) until you have: Necklace of Goddess: EverGreen.

  5. Town of Goddard. Return to Ossian. Hand over: Ring of Goddess: Waterbinder, Necklace of Goddess: EverGreen.

    Having got both items, we hand them in and get the task to farm the raid boss Flame of Splendor Barakiel, right here in the Valley of Saints. There is one mistake people make: while everybody runs about knocking the items out of the Pilgrim and the Judge, the shout chat keeps talking about Barakiel, about gathering a party for it and so on. Having got the first two items, people forget to give them to the NPC and take the task for the RB, and run straight to Barakiel instead. And then they wonder why the item did not drop.

  6. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Kill Flame of Splendor Barakiel (lv. 70) to get: Staff of Goddess: Rain Song.

    In short, once in the room with the RB, we start looking for somebody to join. And all because the item goes to the party that deals the last blow to the raid boss. So if there are many people, you may sit at Barakiel for quite a long time.

  7. Town of Goddard. Return to Ossian. Hand over: Staff of Goddess: Rain Song. You receive: Relic Box.

    Having killed the RB and got the item, we return to the NPC.

  8. Ivory Tower. Find Magister Ladd on the Dark Elven floor of the tower to complete the quest. Hand over: Relic Box. You receive: Caradine's Letter.

    Then we are sent to Magister Ladd in the Ivory Tower (the one with whom we did the subclass quest), after which we return to Caradine and hand the quest in.

Tips

  • High Five offers a way without the raid boss: the staff can be put together from 100 fragments dropped by the Splendor monsters of the same valley.

  3. Recovered Ring and Necklace

    You've recovered the Ring of Goddess: Waterbinder and the Necklace of Goddess: Evergreen. Take them to Ossian in the Town of Goddard.

  4. In Search of Priceless Power

    You have a choice. You can go to the Valley of Saints and confront Barakiel, the Flame of Splendor, slay him and recover the Rain Song, Staff of the Goddess. Or, the alternative is that you can obtain 100 Rain Song, Staff of the Goddess Fragments from Wailing of Splendor, Fang of Splendor, Crown of Splendor, and Signet of Splendor.

    After either obtaining Rain Song, Staff of the Goddess or 100 Staff Fragments, return to Ossian.

  5. To Ossain

    You seem to have gained the precious power that Ossian seeks. Bring it to Ossian in the Town of Goddard.

You've seen the Lady of the Lake in person. She's not an ordinary Human. She can't appear in her original state in this world, so she used magic to place her essence into three objects. She isn't able to recover her strength without them, and they were stolen during the attack.

You must help us recover them!

  • "I'll help."

We have learned that two of the three items that contain his power, the Waterbinder ring and the Evergreen necklace, can be found in the Valley of Saints. The Pilgrims of Splendor possess the Waterbinder, and the Judges of Splendor possess the Evergreen. Please immediately for the Valley of Saints and bring back the ring and necklace. You're the only one who can do this. Then, I will entrust you with this task.

Unfortunately, they still have the Soultrap spell on them, and she's too weak to break it.

Find the ring called Waterbinder and the necklace Evergreen, they hold his strength. Pilgrims of Splendor and Judges of Splendor in the Valley of Saints have them.

The Rain Song staff, the most powerful of her three items, must be retrieved. If the staff is found, the restraining magics can be broken, and the three items will regain their full strength.

However, since it is the most powerful item, it is guarded by the most powerful foe. The Flame of Splendor, the Archangel Barakiel, guards the staff himself. You must prepare thoroughly in order to fight him.

Your mission is to defeat the Flame of Splendor, and retrieve the Rain Song staff.

If you are not yet ready to go against Barakiel, there is another way to get your hands on the staff. Go to the Valley of Saints, defeat the Wailing of Splendor, Fang of Splendor, Crown of Splendor, and Signet of Splendor, and bring 100 Staff Fragments from their corpses.

Find the ring called water binder and the necklace evergreen, they hold his strength. Pilgrim of Splendor and Judge of Splendor in the Valley of Saints have them.

While you were gone, I asked my comrades for someone who could remove the binding spell that was placed upon those three relics. I heard recently that such a person had been found. Now, all that we need is for someone to take those items to that person and have the spell removed.

If you are not yet ready to go against Barakiel, go to the Valley of Saints, defeat the Wailing of Splendor, Fang of Splendor, Crown of Splendor, and Shout of Splendor, who are searching for the Rain Song Staff fragments, and bring 100 Staff Fragments from their corpses.

Magister Ladd in the Ivory Tower is the Mage who can liberate the three relics in this box. Bring them to him! Hurry, his enemies are on our heels.

Unless you recover Rainsong and bring it back, you cannot break the spell that binds. It's very important that you bring back Rainsong!
