Clean up the Swamp of Screams

Clean up the Swamp of Screams is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 66–80. It starts with Pierce in Swamp of Screams.

Pierce, captain of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force has assigned to you the task of driving out stakatos. You must go to the Swamp of Screams to carry out this mission.

Clean up the Swamp of Screams walkthrough

The quest is taken at level 66 from Pierce, who stands at the teleport point in Swamp of Screams. An additional requirement: the completed quests Hunt of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force and In Search of the Nest.

Swamp of Screams (teleport from Rune Township). Take the quest from Mercenary Captain Pierce.
The captain of the mercenaries demands that we join the fight to clear the swamp of the annoying insects that have bred all over it.
Hunt Splinter Stakato (lv. 66), Splinter Stakato Worker (lv. 67), Splinter Stakato Soldier (lv. 68), Splinter Stakato Drone (lv. 69) until you have: Talon of Stakato ×100.
The quest items will drop from absolutely every mob in the swamp.
Return to Mercenary Captain Pierce. Hand over: Talon of Stakato ×100. You receive: Golden Ram Coin ×20.
He changes the items you have farmed for the mercenaries' currency at the rate of 100 to 20.
Talk to Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie.
When you have a lot of these coins, you can go to the dwarf to buy something from him. The list of goods is this: Dimensional Diamond, 10 coins; Booty - Gray Pouch, 1 coin; Booty - Yellow Pouch, 6 coins; Booty - Brown Pouch, 28 coins.
Dimensional Diamond are needed to buy SoE scrolls to towns and villages from the gatekeepers. Out of the gray pouch come various heals and potions, but not the top ones, check for yourself. Out of the yellow pouch come mid-level resources. Out of the brown pouch come resources above mid level. What exactly to open is up to you, probably whatever you need right now.

Pierce, captain of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force has assigned you the task of driving out the stakatos. Go to the Swamp of Screams and slay splinter stakatos and needle stakatos. As proof of your success, collect 100 claws of stakatos. When you bring them back to the barracks of the mercenary force, you'll receive a reward.

You'll find two types of stakatos in the Swamp of Screams, Splinter Stakatos around the edges and Needle Stakatos at the center. There are many poisonous pools that they hang around, so beware.
When you kill one, pull out its claws. Collect 100 on each outing, they serve as proof of your deeds.
Your life is most important, so don't get in over your head.

Thank god you came back alright. So, how's the situation?

It is impossible for us to clear the whole swamp. We don't have the strength to strike a fatal blow, we'd have to tackle the incubator and kill the queen. Our resources are too few, but we must continue until given the withdrawal order.
