Brigands Sweep
Brigands Sweep is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 5–18. It starts with Spiron in Dwarven Village.
Convoys of the Golden Wheel Guild have recently come under daring attacks from goblin bandits. For the sake of Maphr, this outrage must be avenged! Let's give those goblins a dose of Dwarven justice!
Brigands Sweep walkthrough
The quest Brigands Sweep, for adena. Start level: 5. Start location: the dwarven village. Start NPC: Spiron (Spiron). No requirements. Repeatable. Only for dwarves. Reward: adena.
Dwarven Village. Find Golden Wheel's Spiron in the main hall of the village and take the quest.
It is given at the fifth level by the NPC Spiron in the round house by the teleport. The quest is rubbish on the whole: you have to beat all sorts of goblins, the reward is a little adena, but let it be there into the bargain; when we leave the starting village, we hand the quest items in and give it up.
Hunt Goblin Snooper (lv. 5), Goblin Brigand (lv. 8), Goblin Brigand Lieutenant (lv. 10), Goblin Lord (lv. 13), Goblin Brigand Leader (lv. 14) until you have:
Goblin Necklace,
Goblin Pendant,
Goblin Lord Pendant,
Suspicious Memo. Where: Dwarven Village, Western Mining Zone. The mobs to hunt are various goblins; the smallest of them are of the fifth level, but there are older ones too, I will list them all now. Goblin Snooper, lvl 5, are around the village. Goblin Brigand, lvl 8, are on the way to the Western Mining Zone. Goblin Brigand Lieutenant, lvl 10, are in the Western Mining Zone. Goblin Lord, lvl 13, are in the Western Mining Zone. Goblin Brigand Leader, lvl 14, are in the Western Mining Zone. The goblins of levels 21-24 no longer take part in the quest. Different quest items drop from different mobs, three kinds in all: Goblin Necklace, black, drops from the smallest mobs up to the tenth level inclusive; Goblin Pendant, red, drops from the mobs of level 14; Goblin Lord Pendant, green, drops from the goblin lords. The item Suspicious Memo can also drop from the mobs; when a certain number of them is gathered (I do not remember exactly, maybe 4, maybe 5), they turn into the item
Suspicious Contract, which can also be handed in to the NPC.Return to Golden Wheel's Spiron in the main hall of the village to complete the quest. Hand over:
Goblin Necklace,
Goblin Pendant,
Goblin Lord Pendant,
Suspicious Contract. There is a very big nuance in handing the items in. The nuance is that if you hand in 10 items of one kind, you are paid a bonus of 1000 adena, plus what each item costs. I explain with the necklace as an example: 10 necklaces at 12 adena are 120 adena, plus the bonus of 1000 adena, that is, for 10 necklaces you get 1120. And if you bring more than 10 items of one kind, the bonus stays, but even if you collected 100 items, they are counted only at 12 adena each, and you get 1000 + 1200 = 2200 adena. And if you ran and handed in 10 items at a time (yes, it takes longer, but it is worth it), you would get 11200 adena for the same quantity. Is there a difference? Yes, and a big one. If you hand in all three items at once, only one bonus is given for them, so that is not profitable either. The handiest way is to stand next to the village, beat the goblins without soulshots until 10 items are gathered, and hand them in to the NPC right away.
Tips
- And yes, for the Suspicious Contract the same 1120 adena is given, even if you hand in no other items. If some items remain after handing the quest in, namely Suspicious Memo, and you choose the option "I want to leave", that is, give the quest up, all the remaining items are deleted. And one more problem: this quest will hinder the quest Jumble, Tumble, Diamond Fuss, because items for both quests drop from the mob Goblin Brigand Lieutenant. But that is no problem: this quest can be handed in and given up, that one done, and then this one taken again. Although the last time I checked, it does not hinder that much, you may leave the quest as it is.
- On the C1 chronicles everything is bad with the reward: no bonuses are given for any number of items handed in, and the Suspicious Contract costs pennies on those chronicles too.

Goblin Hunting
Elder Spiron of the Golden Wheel Guild says that his guild has suffered extensive trade losses recently because of goblin brigands, and asks you to purge them from the mountains. Defeat the goblins, collect their necklaces and bring them back for a reward. Hunt goblin snoopers, goblin brigands, goblin brigand lieutenants, goblin brigand leaders and the goblin lord.
Suspicious Contract
When you re-assemble the pieces of the memo, you see that it's a contract between the Silver Scale Guild and a bandit. Elder Spiron of the Golden Wheel Guild and Balanki of the Silver Scale Guild would both find this very interesting... Or you could continue to hunt... Hunt the goblin snoopers, goblin brigands, goblin brigand lieutenants, goblin brigand leaders and the goblin lord.

Young stranger of a foreign race, you wish to help me? I appreciate the thought, but ... I cannot entrust guild business to an outsider.

Business is bad these days because of the goblin brigands. The goblins have become so bold that they attack freight wagons now!
Just last week, a wagon belonging to our guild was attacked by the goblin brigands. I am thinking of addressing this brigand issue next month at the Guild Association Elder Council ... But I can't wait that long ... I need to do something about this ...

Business is bad these days because of the goblin brigands. The goblins have become so bold that they attack freight wagons now!
Our guild has been taking great losses lately because our wagons are being attacked. I am thinking of addressing this brigand issue next month at the Guild Association Elder Council ... But I can't wait that long ...
So, I need to ask you a favor ... Would you like to work for me? If you work for our glorious Golden Wheel Guild, your friends and colleagues will respect you even more. Oh, and of course I will reward you based on your work. Nothing is free for Dwarves. What do you think? Will you give it a try?
- Say you want to be a talented Dwarf.
Very well! Now let me give you the details. Your job is to wipe out the insolent goblins that have been attacking our Guild freight wagons. Of course, I could hire guard escorts, but under these circumstances I cannot trust anyone except for my guild members.
In the interest of good business, I need proof of your qualifications. All goblins wear necklaces that represent their rank, so collect them and bring them to me. I will reward you based on the number and type of necklaces that you bring. That means, if you bring necklaces that belong to high-ranking goblins, I will reward you even more, understood?
Now! Leave at once! Time is money!
Why have you returned empty handed? Don't tell me that you've forgotten what your job is.
Given the urgency of the situation, let me tell you one more time! Your job is to punish the insolent goblins that are interrupting our guild's trade. Defeat the goblins and bring their necklaces as proof. I will reward you based on the number and type of necklaces that you bring.
Now! Leave at once! Time is money!

Welcome back! So you have taken care of the insolent goblins that interfered with our business! Now I'll finally get a good night's sleep! Of course, we need to work very hard to cover last month's loss ... Whew ...
Anyway, you have done well! As promised, I will reward you based on the number and type of necklaces you have brought after killing the goblins. Thanks to your efforts, the insolent brigands have been taught a lesson, but I am still worried ... A freight wagon is departing for Shootguart tonight ... Would you do me another favor?

You want to quit? Why? It's not because you think the reward isn't enough, is it? People may say that I'm stingy, but upon my word I always treat those who work for our guild very well.
You should think again, young friend! You can broaden your experience, while making money. Don't miss this opportunity!
Please carry on then! It is thanks to earnest youngsters like you that the business of our Dwarven Guilds flourishes!
Well done! As promised, I will reward you based on the number and types of necklaces you have brought after killing the goblins. What are these memos ...? This paper is used by Dwarven Guilds when writing official documents ... Also, the handwriting is Dwarvish ...
This means those insolent goblins were in secret communication with one of us Dwarves ...! How can this be ...! This must be a plot by one of the other guilds to destroy our business!
Look here, my friend. Please find rest of these memos! That's the only way to reveal the truth behind this secret plot! I'll give you more than enough reward, never you worry about that!

Well done! As promised, I will reward you based on the number and type of necklaces you have brought after killing the goblins. Have you found the rest of the Suspicious Memos?
Please help me out once more, my friend! You know that you are the only one I can trust. I must find the rest of the memos and find out who is trying to destroy our Guild!

Well done! As promised, I will reward you based on the number and type of necklaces you have brought after killing the goblins. Their spirits must be significantly deflated!
What is this, a Contract ...? This is the Suspicious Memos all combined! Let me see ... Hmm ... Yes ... As I thought ...The goblins were hired by the Silver Scale Guild. I can't believe Balanki would hatch such a bold plot ... Well, I must do something!
Going straight to the Guild Elder Council is not much fun ... I think meeting Balanki and coming to a mutual agreement is better! I finally have his weak point ... He must pay a high price for his actions!
Thanks to you, I have obtained valuable information. Since I am a fair Dwarf, I will reward you additionally for your unexpected achievement. Many thanks for your troubles!
