Two tribes north of Goddard take allies of level 74–80. This page compares the two sides, lists what every alliance level costs and explains what the marks are good for: the third class sagas, the camp shops and the S-grade recipes sold for the camp currency.
Two sides, one choice
Alliance with Ketra Orcs is taken from Wahkan and makes you hunt the Varka Silenos; Alliance with Varka Silenos is taken from Naran Ashanuk and makes you hunt the Ketra Orcs. The steps and the numbers are the same, and a character can be an ally of only one tribe at a time. In practice the choice is made by the party or the clan: you go where your friends farm.
What each level costs
- Level 1: 100 soldier badges.
- Level 2: 200 soldier and 100 captain badges.
- Level 3: 300 soldier, 200 captain and 100 general badges.
- Level 4: 300 soldier, 300 captain and 200 general badges and the head of a raid boss (Prove Your Courage! or Prove Your Courage!).
- Level 5: 400 soldier, 400 captain and 200 general badges and the head of the enemy commander (Slay the Enemy Commander! or Slay the Enemy Commander!).
Badges are spent at every level, so the full road is 1,300 soldier, 1,000 captain and 500 general badges. One blow against your own allies takes a level away.

What the alliance is taken for
- The third class change. Every saga asks for Divine Stone of Wisdom, and it is given only by Magical Power of Water - Part 1 or Magical Power of Fire - Part 1, both of which need an alliance of level 2 or higher.
- S-grade recipes and parts. The Ketra trader Jumara sells boxes for Horn of Buffalo: Looted Goods - Blue Cargo box and Looted Goods - Yellow Cargo box hold parts of sealed S-grade armor, Looted Goods - White Cargo box holds parts of S-grade weapons, and Looted Goods - Red Cargo Box and Looted Goods - Purple Cargo Box hold 60% recipes of the sealed Imperial Crusader, Draconic Leather and Major Arcana pieces. Looted Goods - Brown Pouch is the cheap one, with ordinary materials.
- The camp itself. Allies use its grocer, its trader and, at the higher levels, its gatekeeper, and the Varka trader Shikon takes Nepenthes Seed the same way.
