Succession to the Legend, Sword Muse

Succession to the Legend, Sword Muse is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 C4: Scions of Destiny for characters of level 76+. It starts with Raien in Town of Aden.

Succession to the Legend, Sword Muse walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Swordsinger: this saga turns the character into a Sword Muse at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Feynn and Donath, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Sword Player Biel, Archon of Halisha and Fallen Angel Narcissus.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Town of Aden. Find Master Raien in the Warriors Guild and take the quest.

  2. Town of Goddard. Find Blacksmith Feynn in the smithy.

  3. Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Master Chef Donath.

    He asks for two things: Cryolite and Big white fat fish.

  4. Cryolite is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Big white fat fish is a fishing catch; the quest journal says it takes a fisherman with a Fishing skill of level 23–25. The fish can be traded, so you can also buy it from another player.

  6. Talk to Master Chef Donath again. You receive: Bitter Cold Beer.

  7. Town of Goddard. Return to Blacksmith Feynn in the smithy. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  2. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  4. Pilgrim's Temple. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    Touching the third tablet calls Sword Player Biel. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill Sword Player Biel (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Wild Beast Reserve (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Beast Herder Tunatun.

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Talk to Beast Herder Tunatun again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Town of Goddard. Find Priest Cerenas in the temple.

  2. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Wall of Argos (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  5. Hunters Village. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    At the sixth tablet Fallen Angel Narcissus appears together with Moon Voice Irene. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Moon Voice Irene: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Town of Aden. Return to Master Raien in the Warriors Guild to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Cryolite and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Raien, so come back at level 76 or higher.

  2. Find the Legendary Dish

    Blacksmith Feynn asks you to bring him some bitter cold beer. The only person who can make it is Master Chef Donath in the hot springs area of Goddard. Visit him.

    Master Chef Donath needs ice crystals and a fat, white fish.

    You can get some ice crystals if you do what Chef Jeremy asks and

    get the fat, white fish from a fisherman with a skill level of 23 - 25.

  4. Completed Dish

    Master Chef Donath made you the bitter cold beer. Return to Blacksmith Feynn in Goddard Castle Town.

  16. The Fifth Communion

    You've got the fifth Stone of Commune. Now head to the fifth tablet. It is in the northwestern corner of the Wall of Argos.
