Succession to the Legend, Adventurer is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 C4: Scions of Destiny for characters of level 76+. It starts with Black Cat in Hunters Village.

Succession to the Legend, Adventurer walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Treasure Hunter: this saga turns the character into a Adventurer at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Klaus and Valentine, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Monument Watcher Ezekiel, Archon of Halisha and Monument Defender Azrael.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Hunters Village. Take the quest from Hunter Guild Member Black Cat.

  2. Town of Goddard. Find Fishermen's Guild Member Klaus in the magic shop.

  3. Find Brewer Valentine in the magic shop.

    He asks for Cryolite.

  4. Cryolite is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Talk to Brewer Valentine again. You receive: Ice Wine.

  6. Return to Fishermen's Guild Member Klaus in the magic shop. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  2. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  4. Varka Silenos Barracks (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    Touching the third tablet calls Monument Watcher Ezekiel. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill Monument Watcher Ezekiel (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Ketra Orc Outpost (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Hermit.

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Talk to Hermit again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Wall of Argos (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Hermit.

  2. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Wall of Argos (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  5. The Giant's Cave. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    At the sixth tablet Monument Defender Azrael appears together with Erica Ken Weber. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Erica Ken Weber: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Hunters Village. Return to Hunter Guild Member Black Cat to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Cryolite and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Black Cat, so come back at level 76 or higher.

    Black Cat, a venerable member of the guild, says that you must obtain the power forbidden by the gods and to meet Klaus in Goddard Castle Town for more information.

    Klaus can't remember such old memories sober and asks you to bring him some ice liquor. He tells you that Brewer Valentine in Goddard Castle Town can make the stuff.

  3. Finding Ice Crystals

    Valentine needs ice crystals to make ice liquor and says that you can get them from Master Chef Jeremy in the Hot Springs area.

  4. Deliver the Ice Liquor

    Brewer Valentine has finished making the ice liquor and asks you to take it to Klaus.

  5. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 1

    Klaus says you must obtain the forbidden power sealed within the Tablet of Vision and tells you where the first tablet and Stone of Commune are.

    The stone that will show you the next Tablet of Vision is in the possession of the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge.

    You've obtained the Stone of Commune from a Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge. Begin communing with the Tablet of Vision.

    Commune with the third tablet using the Stone of Commune that you took from Ezekiel.

  10. A Mysterious Hermit - 1

    The third Tablet of Vision shows a Human form. He appears to be somewhere between Goddard Castle Town and the Ketra Orc Outpost. Find him!

  11. The Hermit's Test

    The hermit says you must prove yourself before he'll give you the Tablet of Vision and says you must get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from the Ketra Orcs.

    You must gain their trust and prove your wisdom. Speak with Wahkan, their messenger.

  12. The Hermit's Test

    The hermit says you must prove yourself before he'll give you the Tablet of Vision and says you must get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from the Varka Silenos.

    You must gain their trust and prove your wisdom. Speak with Naran Ashanuk, their messenger.

  13. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 4

    The hermit gives you the Stone of Commune and orders you to find the fourth Tablet of Vision and commune with it.

  14. A Mysterious Hermit - 2

    The tablet shows a Human form much like the last and shows you where to go next. It beckons you to the road from Goddard Castle Town to the Wall of Argos.

  15. Archon of Halisha

    The hermit requires you to to take another test before he'll tell you where the next Tablet of Vision is.

    He orders you to attract the Archon of Halisha by attacking his minions in the northeast part of the Wall of Argos,

    or attack him directly in the Imperial Tomb,

    kill him and take the Tablet of Vision from him.

  16. Seeking the Tablet of Vision - 5

    You've obtained the Stone of Commune by killing the Archon of Halisha. Use it to commune with the fifth Tablet of Vision.

    When your communion with the fifth tablet was near completion, the location of the sixth tablet was revealed. Go to it.

  18. Commune With the Tablet of Vision - 6

    Erica Ken Weber gave you the Stone of Commune when Monument Guardian Azrael ran away. Now, commune with the last tablet.

  19. An Adventurer?

    You've finished communing with all the Tablets of Vision. Return to Black Cat and tell him of your accomplishments.

    Black Cat says that you need to work harder to properly use the power although you've obtained all the power of the Tablets of Vision.

    Train more and then return to Black Cat.
