Succession to the Legend, Archmage walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Sorcerer: this saga turns the character into a Archmage at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Justin and Mist, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Fallen Angel Allector, Archon of Halisha and Unknown Stopper.

Allies and the first amulet

1. Ivory Tower. Find Grand Magister Valleria on the Human floor of the tower and take the quest.

   

   

2. Town of Goddard. Find Magister Justin in the Mages Guild.

   

   

3. Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Information Broker Mist.

   He asks for Cryolite.

   

   

4. Cryolite is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

5. Talk to Information Broker Mist again. You receive: Investigative Report.

6. Town of Goddard. Return to Magister Justin in the Mages Guild. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

7. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

   

   

8. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

   The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

   

   

9. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

   

   

10. Shrine of Loyalty. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    Touching the third tablet calls Fallen Angel Allector. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

    

    

11. Kill Fallen Angel Allector (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

    

12. Return to Tablet of Vision.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

13. Town of Goddard. Return to Magister Justin in the Mages Guild.

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

14. Talk to Magister Justin again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

15. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    

    

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

16. Town of Goddard. Return to Magister Justin in the Mages Guild.

17. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

    

    

18. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

19. Wall of Argos (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    

    

20. Rune Harbor. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    At the sixth tablet Unknown Stopper appears together with Truth Scholar Devianne. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Truth Scholar Devianne: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

    

    

21. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

22. Ivory Tower. Return to Grand Magister Valleria on the Human floor of the tower to complete the quest.

1. Meet Magister Justin

   A Sorcerer must obtain the power sealed in the Tablets of Vision to become an Archmage.

2. Get the Report

   Magister Justin tells you to go to Information Broker Mist in the hot springs area and get the investigative report he asked for.

3. Searching for Ice Crystals

   Mist has the investigative report but won't give it to you for free. He wants ice crystals from the hot springs area in return. Get the ice crystals and return to Mist.

4. Return to Magister Justin

   You've got the report of the investigation from Information Broker Mist. Return to Magister Justin.

5. The First Tablet of Vision

   You've got the Stone of Commune you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

6. Guardians of the Tablets of Vision

   You feel that one of the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge near the next Tablet of Vision has the Stone of Commune. Kill the guardian and get the Stone of Commune.

7. The Second Tablet of Vision

   You've got the Stone of Commune you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

   You feel that someone suspicious near the next Tablet of Vision has the Stone of Commune. You should already know where it is.

   You've got the Stone of Commune you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

10. Meet Magister Justin

    You feel that Magister Justin of Goddard Castle Town has the next Stone of Commune. Meet Magister Justin.

11. Return With the Stone Fragments

    Go to the Ketra village and get their Divine Stone of Wisdom, which is actually a fragment of the Stone of Commune. They know it has power, but they don't know how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it away to the smartest person in their tribe! Prove your wisdom to their messenger, Wahkan and he'll give it to you.

    Or, if you prefer, you can approach the Varka Silenos and earn the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk to get it.

12. Return With the Stone Fragments

    Go to the Varka Silenos village and get their Divine Stone of Wisdom, which is actually a fragment of the Stone of Commune. They know it has power, but they don't know how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it away to the smartest person in their tribe! Gain the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk and prove yourself to him. He'll give you their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

    Or, if you prefer, you can approach the Ketra Orcs and get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from them.

15. Searching for the Stone of Commune

    A monster known as the Archon of Halisha has the next Stone of Commune. The archon awaits inside of the Four Sepulchers. You mustn't go there alone!

    If you intend to take on the archon alone, you should first attack his minions in the Shrine of the Loyal. He'll appear after you've collected 700 marks of Halisha.

    (Only characters of level 76 or above may change their occupation to Archmage. Don't abandon the quest until occupation change is complete.)
