Saga of the Archmage

Saga of the Archmage is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 76+. It starts with Valleria in Ivory Tower.

A Sorcerer must obtain the power sealed in the Tablets of Vision to become an Archmage.

Walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Sorcerer: this saga turns the character into a Archmage at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Justin and Mist, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Fallen Angel Allector, Archon of Halisha and Unknown Stopper.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Start the quest with Valleria (Ivory Tower).

  2. Talk to Justin (Town of Goddard).

  3. Talk to Mist (Hot Springs).

    He asks for Ice Crystal.

  4. Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Return to Mist (Hot Springs). You receive: Investigative Report.

  6. Return to Justin (Town of Goddard). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Plains of Glory).

  2. Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2. Where: Monastery of Silence.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Monastery of Silence).

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Shrine of Loyalty).

    Touching the third tablet calls Fallen Angel Allector. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill Fallen Angel Allector (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Shrine of Loyalty).

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Return to Justin (Town of Goddard).

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Return to Justin (Town of Goddard). You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Garden of Beasts).

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Return to Justin (Town of Goddard).

  2. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700. Where: Shrine of Loyalty.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Borderland Fortress).

  5. Talk to Tablet of Vision (Rune Harbor).

    At the sixth tablet Unknown Stopper appears together with Truth Scholar Devianne. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Truth Scholar Devianne: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision (Rune Harbor).

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Return to Valleria (Ivory Tower) to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Ice Crystal and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Valleria, so come back at level 76 or higher.

    Magister Justin tells you to go to Information Broker Mist in the Hot Springs area and get the investigative report he asked for.

  3. Search for Ice Crystals

    Information Broker Mist says he has the report of the investigation, but won't give it away for free. He wants Ice Crystals from the Hot Springs area in return. Get the Ice Crystals and return to Mist.

  4. Return to Magister Justin

    You've got the report of the investigation from Information Broker Mist. Return to Magister Justin.

  5. The First Tablet of Vision

    You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.

  6. Guardians of the Tablets of Vision

    You feel that one of the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge near the next Tablet of Vision has the Resonance Amulet. Kill the guardian and get the Resonance Amulet.

  11. Return with the Stone Fragment

    Go to the Ketra village and get their Divine Stone of Wisdom, which is actually a fragment of the Resonance Amulet. They know it has power, but they don't know how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it away to the smartest person in their tribe! Prove your wisdom to their messenger, Wahkan and he'll give it to you.

    Or, if you prefer, you can approach the Varka Silenos and earn the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk to get it.

  12. Return with the Stone Fragment

    Go to the Varka Silenos village and get their Divine Stone of Wisdom, which is actually a fragment of the Resonance Amulet. They know it has power, but they don't know how to access it. They actually hold a contest and give it away to the smartest person in their tribe! Gain the trust of their messenger, Naran Ashanuk and prove yourself to him. He'll give you their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

    Or, if you prefer, you can approach the Ketra Orcs and get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from them.

  15. In Search of the Resonance Amulet

    A monster known as the Archon of Halisha has the next Resonance Amulet. The archon awaits inside of the Four Sepulchers. You mustn't go there alone!

    If you intend to take on the archon alone, you should first attack his minions in the Shrine of Loyalty. He'll appear after you've collected 700 marks of Halisha.

    You've got the Resonance Amulet you need to access the Tablet of Vision. You should already know where it is.
