Succession to the Legend, Maestro

Succession to the Legend, Maestro is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 C4: Scions of Destiny for characters of level 76+. It starts with Telson in Rune Township.

These ancient stone tablets are engraved with the very language of the gods! The knowledge contained on these Tablets of Vision could make a mortal into a Maestro with the power to make metals pour like honey!

Succession to the Legend, Maestro walkthrough

The third class transfer for a Warsmith: this saga turns the character into a Maestro at level 76. Like every saga it is a long pilgrimage across the continent. Your allies here are Tobald and Borodin, the route runs past six Tablets of Vision, and the three fights are against Archangel Iconoclasis, Archon of Halisha and Assassin Frost.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Rune Township. Find Chief Golem Crafter Telson in the smithy and take the quest.

  2. Town of Goddard. Find Master Tobald in the smithy.

  3. Find Blueprint Seller Borodin in the smithy.

    He asks for Cryolite.

  4. Cryolite is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

  5. Talk to Blueprint Seller Borodin again. You receive: Coolant of the Repaired Wilma #3.

  6. Return to Master Tobald in the smithy. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

First three tablets

  1. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  2. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

    The guardians stand around the second tablet. Keep killing them until one leaves the amulet.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  4. Pilgrim's Temple. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    Touching the third tablet calls Archangel Iconoclasis. The monster stays only for a short time, so be ready to fight before you talk.

  5. Kill Archangel Iconoclasis (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Town of Goddard. Return to Master Tobald in the smithy.

    Choose whom to help, the Ketra orcs or the Varka Silenos. Either way you must bring Divine Stone of Wisdom: the Ketra messenger Wahkan gives it for the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1, the Varka messenger Naran Ashanuk for Magical Power of Fire - Part 1. Both quests need an alliance of level 2 or higher with that side.

  2. Talk to Master Tobald again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

  3. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Town of Goddard. Return to Master Tobald in the smithy.

  2. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

    With 700 marks in the bag the next kills bring out Archon of Halisha, who attacks you at once. A faster way for a strong party is to kill an Archon of Halisha inside the Four Sepulchers: it counts as well.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Wall of Argos (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  5. Forest of the Dead (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    At the sixth tablet Assassin Frost appears together with Tobald. Attack the monster until it withdraws, then talk to Tobald: the last amulet comes from that conversation.

  6. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

    You must have Resonance Amulet - 6 from the previous step to commune with the tablet.

  7. Rune Township. Return to Chief Golem Crafter Telson in the smithy to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Collect Cryolite and Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip.
  • The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
  • The class changes in the final talk with Telson, so come back at level 76 or higher.

Quest journal

  1. Meet Master Tobald.

    There is a Dwarf who left before you to take the test to become a Maestro. Meet Master Tobald in Goddard Castle Town to get more information about the test.

  2. Meet Borodin.

    Wilma #3, the time machine developed and built by Master Toma, has broken down. Tobald asked his disciple, blueprint seller Borodin, to repair the time machine's cooling system. Go meet Borodin and ask him about the cooling system.

  3. Searching for Ice Crystals!

    Borodin says that in order to fix the cooling system of Wilma #3, you must obtain an ice crystal from the hot springs area. Meet with Chef Jeremy to find out how to make the ice crystal.

    Borodin has repaired the cooling system of Wilma #3! Take the repaired machine to Master Tobald.

  5. Find the Tablet of Vision.

    You've discovered the location of the first Tablet of Vision that contains the sacred knowledge needed to become a Maestro. Take the Stone of Commune to the Tablet of Vision and obtain the knowledge!

    You've communed with the first Tablet of Vision and know where the second Stone of Commune is! Slay the Guardians of Forbidden Knowledge and obtain the next Stone of Commune!

    You've obtained the second Stone of Commune! Try communing with the Tablet of Vision.

  8. The Third Stone of Commune

    You've communed with the second Tablet of Vision! The next Stone of Commune seems to be located very close to the third Tablet of Vision. Go there and obtain the Stone of Commune.

    You've obtained the third Stone of Commune. Now, try to commune with the Tablet of Vision.

  10. The Fourth Stone of Commune

    You've communed with the third Tablet of Vision! Now you must know where the fourth Stone of Commune is located. Go there.

  11. Divine Stone of Wisdom

    In order to obtain the fourth Stone of Commune, you must first obtain the Divine Stone of Wisdom which is currently possessed by the Ketra Orcs' Chief Shaman. First, meet with Ketra Orcs' Messenger and form an alliance with them. Once you earn the trust of Ketra Orcs, you'll be able to obtain their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

  12. Divine Stone of Wisdom

    In order to obtain the fourth Stone of Commune, you must first obtain the Divine Stone of Wisdom which is currently possessed by the Varka Silenos' Chief Shaman. First, meet with the Varka Silenos' Messenger and form an alliance with them. Once you earn the trust of the Varka Silenos, you'll be able to obtain their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

  13. The Fourth Tablet of Vision

    You've obtained the Stone of Commune! Now, go to the fourth Tablet of Vision and attempt to commune with it.

  14. The Fifth Stone of Commune

    It seems like Master Tobald has the fifth Stone of Commune. Go meet with him.

  15. The Fifth Stone of Commune

    The fifth Stone of Commune is currently owned by the Archon of Halisha. In order to find that evil creature, you must either enter the Four Sepulchers in the deepest part of the Imperial Tomb or go to the Shrine of the Loyal in the northeastern part of the Wall of Argos and start killing his minions there. Either way, you must kill the Archon of Halisha and obtain the Stone of Commune.

  16. The Fifth Tablet of Vision

    You've obtained the fifth Stone of Commune! Now, go to the Tablet of Vision and try communing with it.

    The sixth Stone of Commune seems to be located near the last Tablet of Vision. However, someone seems to have already gotten a hold of it. Hurry to the last Tablet of Vision!

    Finally, you've obtained the sixth Stone of Commune! Now try communing with the last Tablet of Vision.

  19. Become a Maestro.

    You've completed communing with the last Tablet of Vision. With this, you've acquired all the sacred knowledge you are required to possess to become a Maestro. Return to Chief Golem Craftsman Telson in the Blacksmith Shop in Rune Castle Town.

  20. Become a Maestro.

    By communing with the last Tablet of Vision, you've acquired all the sacred knowledge you need to possess to become a Maestro. However, since your level is lower than 76, you can't transfer to that class yet. After you raise your level, go meet with Chief Golem Craftsman Telson in the Blacksmith Shop in Rune Castle Town.
