Saga of the Spectral Dancer
Saga of the Spectral Dancer is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 BoHPTS for characters of level 76+. It starts with Mordred in Hardin's Academy.
Mordred, the Dark Knight picks only the finest soldiers to search for the ancient secrets and konwldege. To make matters worse, the Lord of Purgatory, Death Lord Hallate, also has his eye on the ancient knowledge.

The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Spectral Dancer (Succession to the Legend Spectral Dancer): Bladedancer becomes Spectral Dancer.
Allies and the first amulet
Hardin's Academy. Take the quest from Dark Knight Mordred.
The quest Saga of the Spectral Dancer (Succession to the Legend Spectral Dancer) is taken on reaching level 76 in the private Hardin's Academy (teleport from Giran, Oren or Hunters Village) from Dark Knight Mordred (he stands to the right of the entrance).
Town of Goddard. Talk to Spellbook Seller Elena.
We set off to do the quest. First of all we go to the temple of Goddard to Spellbook Seller Elena: she is the main NPC of the quest and will give out all the tasks.
Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Information Broker Bavarin.
First of all Elena sends you to the Hot Springs to find a huckster who trades in information, namely Information Broker Bavarin. Like all the dwarves in the Hot Springs, the old man steams in one of the springs not far from the centre of the location.
Talk to Information Broker Bavarin again. You receive:
Ancient Language Dictionary.Town of Goddard. Return to Spellbook Seller Elena. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 1.Bavarin, naturally, demands the Ice Crystal from you, and if you were clever and did the quest for the crystal beforehand, as I advised you, we hand it to him. And if not, we go to Jeremy by the tent and do the quest, but afterwards hand the crystal to Bavarin all the same. After that we return to Goddard to Elena again, and she chases us off to the first tablet.
First three tablets
Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The first tablet is the same for all classes, and it stands between Oren and Aden, not far from the Tower of Insolence. So we teleport to the Tower of Insolence and, without entering the tower, run towards the tablet.
Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have:
Resonance Amulet - 2.It looks as if somebody has been kicking this tablet for a long time. Having talked to the stone (now there is a twist), we learn that the second resonance amulet and the second tablet are in the Valley of Saints, and the amulet itself has to be knocked out of the angels, who circle around the tablet in great numbers. The amulet drops from the last angel. You may be in a party while doing it, and you may be healed. In general all the professions are sent to the Valley of Saints, but there are several tablets and groups of angels there; which of them you need is shown on the map. The angels stand below, in deep pits. We hammer all the mobs Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge; the resonance amulet drops from the last one.
Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.
We talk to the second tablet, and it tells us that at the third tablet a monster awaits you; by defeating it you get the next amulet. The third tablets of the different classes are scattered in different places; the Bladedancers have to go to the Ketra Orc Outpost. We buff up and teleport to Ketra. From the teleport point we enter the location and turn right along the road. In principle you can push through the mobs if that interests you; I always go round the mobs, running past next to the fort. For that we run to the fort and then squeeze along the fence; you can carefully get through there next to the pit. After the fort you have to go down into the pit and climb out on the opposite side; look at the map.
Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Kill Hallate's Dancer Lillian (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 3.In your inventory there is an item, a book or a scroll, which you were given when you took the quest. Well, this book tells precisely about the monster that jumps out of the third tablet and about the methods by which it can be picked apart. For the Bladedancer specifically it says that the mob dances a horrible debuff, which is either blocked by the dances Inspiration, Fury and Vampire, or is knocked off by them after the debuff. After the talk with the tablet the mob Hallate's Dancer Lillian is summoned. What exactly it was supposed to dance there I do not know: I buffed all three dances from the list beforehand and simply finished it off. We get the next amulet and talk to the tablet again.
Return to Tablet of Vision.
Divine Stone and the fourth tablet
Town of Goddard. Return to Spellbook Seller Elena.
Next we return to Elena, who wants to receive the Divine Stone of Wisdom in order to hand you the fourth resonance amulet. If you did the quests in Varka or Ketra beforehand, the little stone is already with you; if not, you will have to go and do them. In the talk with Elena she asks you which side you want to choose, that is, where you will go to make the alliance: to Ketra or to Varka? What is meant here is where you will take the quest, not where you will beat the mobs. That is, if you have made the alliance with Varka, choose the line "I am going to the silenos of Varka"; if the alliance is with Ketra, choose the line "I am going to the orcs of Ketra".
Talk to Spellbook Seller Elena again. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 4.In any case, having got the stone, we give it to Elena, and in return she gives the fourth amulet. So we have to run to the fourth tablet. It is one for all classes and is next to Ketra; there are no mobs on the way, so we teleport to Ketra and run along the road to the left, if you stand facing the location.
Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Halisha's minions and the last tablets
Town of Goddard. Return to Spellbook Seller Elena.
After the dialogue with the fourth tablet we go to Elena once again, and she joyfully informs us that now 700 mobs have to be beaten in the location Shrine of Loyalty, and out of the 701st a quest mob jumps and gives up the amulet. Well, if we do not want to beat so many mobs, she agrees to an alternative, for which the Four Sepulchers have to be passed. Which way you choose depends only on you; I usually beat the mobs.
Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have:
Halisha's Mark ×700.We set off for the Shrine of Loyalty and collect 700 items Halisha's Mark; out of the 701st the Archon of Halisha climbs. The mob is sluggish and drops the next amulet.
Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 5.Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Having got the amulet, we set out for the fifth tablet. It is right here, in the Wall of Argos, only it is handier to reach it by returning to Goddard and teleporting to the entrance of the location again. From the teleport point we turn left, run past two glades with deer and run onto a big glade on the left (also with deer). At the far end stands the fifth tablet.
Forest of the Dead (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The fifth tablet tells you that it remains to get the last, sixth resonance amulet, which is next to the last tablet in the location Forest of the Dead. The tablet is literally two steps from the teleport point. We talk to the tablet, and nearby appears the great and terrible Death Lord Hallate. Not in the guise of a raid boss, though, but as an ordinary quest mob that even a Bladedancer can kick around. You will not kill it, but soon it disappears, shouting something about a speedy revenge on you for meddling in what is not your business.
Talk to Tablet of Vision again.
Hardin's Academy. Return to Dark Knight Mordred to complete the quest.
We talk to the NPC who stays behind at the tablet, and he hands over the last amulet. We activate the tablet and return to Hardin's Academy. We get the profession Spectral Dancer, some adena (from 5kk to 50kk, depending on the rates) and the book Secret Book of Giants. My congratulations, now you are grown-ups.
Tips
- General recommendations for the quest: while you level up to 76, do not forget to do the quests for the Ice Crystal and for the second level of the alliance with Ketra or Varka (Alliance with Ketra Orcs or Alliance with Varka Silenos), and then, depending on whether you chose the alliance with the orcs or with the goats, the quest for the Divine Stone of Wisdom: Magical Power of Fire or Magical Power of Water. In short, in the end you must have the Ice Crystal and the Divine Stone of Wisdom in your inventory (the ordinary one).
- Of course all these additional quests can be done together with the main one, but then the process of getting the profession will drag on for long. However, do as is handier for you.
- Collect
Ice Crystal and 
Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip. - The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
