The Giant's Cave

In the Freya chronicles the location was completely reworked: the mobs needed for various quests were either resettled into the pit in the centre of Forsaken Plains, or the quests themselves were changed and the mobs in them replaced; in any case the location became different. So do not be surprised when you see familiar mob names in the renewed Giant's Cave: these are completely different mobs, though some were left their old names. The mobs were given levels, and now they are all 80+. The raid bosses had their drop and level changed too; remember how hard it was to farm the raid boss Last Titan Utenus because of the crowds of ordinary mobs around? Now the boss has been moved to the room below, and all the ordinary mobs were driven out of there.

Raid bosses: now, to summon Hekaton Prime, you have to take a quest on the lower level of the Giant's Cave (the noblesse teleport from Aden, the teleport from Sobling or from the NPC of the upper level), kill three raid bosses on the upper levels of the cave and hand in the quest: the starting NPC will summon Hekaton, and after killing it you get a certain item, and for handing it in to the same NPC, a reward in the form of books for learning 81+ skills and books of giants. Until you farm the three raid bosses, Hekaton Prime will not appear, and the room below will stay empty.

Sobling still stands before the entrance to the cave, but now there is an ordinary teleport to him; it is called just that, "the entrance to the Giant's Cave", the last line at the gatekeeper.

The quests for getting the Dynasty recipes. Part 1, the quest Exploration of the Giants' Cave - Part 1, is taken from the dwarf Sobling, who stands at the entrance of the cave; everything is as in Interlude: we wait for the Mysterious Book to come into the quest inventory, and as soon as we get it we run to Sobling; he sends us to the warehouse of Oren to translate the book into the modern language; we translate it, return to Sobling and get access to the second part of the quest. Part 2, the quest Exploration of the Giants' Cave - Part 2, is all the same, only other sets have to be collected and the reward is different. By these quests you can get not only the recipes for Dynasty but also the books of giants.

Frankly speaking, the Giant's Cave disappointed me: there is no sense in bothering with Dynasty when the farm with a complete kit of Moirai gear is waiting for us. And one more thing: remember the first room where the giants began to appear? Further on in the corridor the raid boss Gorgolos still stands. In that big room an NPC was placed to whom you can teleport from Sobling or from the NPC in the lowest room. In the Freya chronicles this room was densely populated with mobs, and you were teleported straight into the thick of them. But in the High Five chronicles all the mobs were driven out of this room, and now only the NPC stands there. And I also have a firm feeling that the whole central part of the location was cut out (the central tier below the raid boss Utenus), since now you can run to the very bottom of the cave very fast.
