Saga of the Titan

Saga of the Titan is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 76+. It starts with Tazki in The Pagan Temple.

In ancient times, Orcish warriors were as powerful as giants! One Orc Warrior is bringing that power to life once again.

Saga of the Titan walkthrough

The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Titan (Succession to the Legend Titan): Destroyer becomes Titan.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Rune Township. Find Prefect Tazki in the temple and take the quest.

The quest Saga of the Titan (Succession to the Legend Titan), the third profession for the destroyer, is taken on reaching level 76 in the town of Rune from Prefect Tazki (he stands in the warriors guild: from the gatekeeper towards the temple, then down and to the left).

Where to find Prefect Tazki: map of Rune Township
  2. Town of Goddard. Find Prefect Lakan in the Orc Guild.

From him we go to the orc guild of Goddard to Prefect Lakan, who will give out the following tasks.

Where to find Prefect Lakan: map of Town of Goddard
  3. Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Master Chef Donath.

Lakan, of course, sends us to the Hot Springs to Master Chef Donath on the central glade. And as usual, he tells us nothing until we bring him the Ice Crystal. I hope that by this moment you have already done the quest The Finest Ingredients and the crystal is in your quest inventory. If so, we talk to Donath again; if not, we go to get the crystal.

Master Chef Donath in Lineage 2 Scryde
  4. Talk to Master Chef Donath again. You receive: Bitter Cold Vodka.

  5. Town of Goddard. Return to Prefect Lakan in the Orc Guild. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

In the end we exchange the Ice Crystal for some thingy and return to Lakan. He gives the first resonance amulet, which has to be carried to the first tablet.

First three tablets

  1. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

The first tablet is the same for all classes, and it stands between Oren and Aden, not far from the Tower of Insolence. So we teleport to the Tower of Insolence and, without entering the tower, run towards the tablet (I usually leave a cat by this tablet so as not to run far).

Tablet of Vision in Lineage 2 Scryde
  2. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

We activate the tablet and learn that the second resonance amulet and the second tablet are in the Valley of Saints, and the amulet itself has to be knocked out of the angels that circle round the tablet in great numbers. The amulet drops from the last angel (that is the rule on PTS servers; on Java ones it drops from the 4th mob). You may be in a party while doing it, and you may be healed. In general all the professions are sent to the Valley of Saints, but there are several tablets and groups of angels there; which of them you need is shown on the map. The angels stand below, in deep pits. We beat all the mobs Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge; the resonance amulet drops from the last one.

  3. Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

We talk to the second tablet, and it tells us that at the third tablet a monster awaits you; by defeating it you get the next amulet. The third tablet of the destroyers is next to the Border Outpost: we teleport to the location Ancient Battleground and run through the Border Outpost to the mark on the map.

  4. Varka Silenos Barracks (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Tablet of Vision in Lineage 2 Scryde
  5. Kill Fallen Noble Orc Muhark (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

A quest mob climbs out of the third tablet, and it has to be beaten. When you took the profession quest, a little book dropped into your inventory; if you click on it, it opens, and in it is written how to defeat this mob. For the destroyers it says there that the mob has to be beaten with the skills Fatal Strike and Hammer Crush, so we take a Basalt Battlehammer or a Dragon Hunter Axe in hand (or whatever little axe you have; at a pinch you can beat with the Arcana Mace too) and hammer the mob with skills.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision.

The next amulet drops from the mob, we activate the tablet and return to Goddard, only not to Lakan but to Seer Skahi, who stands next to him.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Town of Goddard. Find Seer Skahi in the Orc Guild.

He needs the Divine Stone of Wisdom. If you did the quests in Varka or Ketra beforehand, the little stone is already with you; if not, you will have to go and do them: first get the second level of the alliance with Ketra or Varka (Alliance with Ketra Orcs or Alliance with Varka Silenos), and then, depending on whether you chose the alliance with the orcs or with the goats, the quest for the Divine Stone of Wisdom: Magical Power of Fire or Magical Power of Water. In short, in the end you must have the Divine Stone of Wisdom in your inventory (the ordinary one). Skahi asks where you will go to get the little stone, to Ketra or to Varka; you can choose any answer, it decides nothing: the main thing is that you do the quests and bring the stone, and where exactly from makes no difference to him.

Seer Skahi in Lineage 2 Scryde
Where to find Seer Skahi: map of Town of Goddard
  2. Talk to Seer Skahi again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

In any case, having got the stone, we give it to Skahi, and in return he gives the fourth amulet. So we have to run to the fourth tablet. It is one for all classes and is next to Ketra; there are no mobs on the way, so we teleport to Ketra and run along the road to the left, if you stand facing the location.

  3. Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Tablet of Vision in Lineage 2 Scryde

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Town of Goddard. Return to Seer Skahi in the Orc Guild.

After the dialogue with the fourth tablet we go to Seer Skahi again; the next task is to beat 700 mobs in the location Shrine of Loyalty, and out of the 701st a quest mob jumps and gives up the amulet. Well, if we do not want to beat so many mobs, he agrees to an alternative, for which the Four Sepulchers have to be passed. Which way you choose depends only on you; I usually beat the mobs.

  2. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

We set off for the Shrine of Loyalty and collect 700 items Halisha's Mark; out of the 701st the Archon of Halisha climbs. The mob is sluggish and drops the next amulet.

Grave Scarab in Lineage 2 ScrydeScavenger Scarab in Lineage 2 Scryde
  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Having got the amulet, we set out for the fifth tablet. It is right here, in the Wall of Argos, only it is handier to reach it by returning to Goddard and teleporting to the entrance of the location again. From the teleport point we turn left, run past two glades with deer and run onto a big glade on the left (also with deer). At the far end stands the fifth tablet.

Tablet of Vision in Lineage 2 Scryde
  5. Bayou Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

The fifth tablet tells you that it remains to get the last, sixth resonance amulet, which is next to the last tablet in the location Forsaken Plains. We talk to the tablet, and nearby appear an NPC and the quest mob Grandpapa Askalius. Well, it is all logical: since we are doing the titan profession, grandpa must be the titan. Poor developers, what goes on in their brains. Naturally, we beat the quest mob. You will not kill it, but soon it disappears, shouting something about a speedy revenge on you for meddling in what is not your business.

Tablet of Vision in Lineage 2 Scryde
  6. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

  7. Rune Township. Return to Prefect Tazki in the temple to complete the quest.

We talk to Sake Dun Zu Hestui, and he hands over the last amulet. We activate the tablet and return to Rune to Prefect Tazki. We get the profession Titan, some adena (from 5kk to 50kk, depending on the rates) and the book Secret Book of Giants.

Tablet of Vision7 pages

As you near the Tablet of Vision, you sense the presence of one who sacrificed his spirit to attain the power to conquer giants!

Even though his body remains strong, the flame of Pa'agrio that once burned within him is extinquished. He is a mighty warrior, but can be defeated!

  • "I must find him!"

Behold! Before your very eyes! Muhark the Destroyer, the Fallen Noble Orc, warrior of the Atuba tribe and the only disciple of Prefect Lakan.

The Tablet of Vision is inscribed with incomprehensible hieroglyphs.

Mudaha's attack continues!

You sense a disturbance near the tablet.

The time hasn't yet come for you to prove yourself.

The Resonance Amulet starts emitting light as you near the tablet.

  • Commune with the Tablet of Vision.

An incomprehensible knowledge digs into your head. You think you hear a woman's voice from somewhere.

And you see the image of a man. He worries about the impending eternal winter, and he holds the Resonance Amulet and waits for a worthy person to come find him.

He is Seer Skahi at the Orc Guild in Goddard Castle Town.

Further communion with this tablet is futile.

Get the next Resonance Amulet from Seer Skahi in the Town of Goddard.

Tablet of Vision7 pages

You hear a disturbance as you approach the tablet.

Sounds of rocks crashing, and the roar of a warrior resisting them!

No fear of the most awesome opponent, eager for death in battle!

They say Orcs were stronger back in the day and I'm inclined to believe them. But I also know that their fiery blood hasn't changed!

Is that actually the tablet? The sound of swordplay is carried on the wind.

  • Examine the area.

A warrior with a tattoo of the Hestui tribe is fighting relics of the era of giants! His passionate bravery is a fiercely blazing flame, inextinguishable!

The tablet is still and dark.

Hestui Warrior Shak Dun looks at the tablet and then at you.

You feel a presence as you approach the tablet.

There's a disturbance going on somewhere. Best not to get involved.

The Resonance Amulet starts emitting light as you draw near the tablet.

  • Commune with the Tablet of Vision.

Countless thoughts beyond comprehension sear painfully into your brain. I can hear laughter as though coming from the back of my head.

A man's voice states, "Another hero is born."

A lady, dressed in blue, responds, "No, he has much to learn and experience. I'm afraid I can't give him much power now. But do not worry.

My brother's vacancy will be filled by a conjured soul."

The ancient Orc was with the flame of Pa'agrio. But the present Orc doesn't have it.

The source of all the Flame Races is obviously fire. Fire can create a limitless power with its strong will. It is the power to be able to fight with a Giant. The will of the Flame Race that has a massive power as well as a Giant can not be defeated...!!

Is this the power needed, that Prefect Tazki said, to fight against a Giant! Go back to him and tell him about the things that have happened so far.

Further communion with this tablet would be futile. Go and see Prefect Tazki in the Rune Township and show him how an Orc deals with giants!

Lakan6 pages

The most powerful warrior? Yeah, right!

True, I was once a brave warrior of the Atuba tribe, but that was long ago.

Now I'll never live down the shame of my disgrace...

  • "What happened?"

I've already said too much. If you want to get me talking, bring me some Bitter Cold Vodka!

Chef Donath in the Hot Springs resort can make it.

This Bitter Cold Vodka is truly the nectar of the gods!

It seems like an eternity since I've tasted it! The burn melts my heart and brings back old memories, even though it lacks the true flame of Pa'agrio!

I'll tell you my story now, my friend.

My mistake was failing in my attempt to seize the Tower of Insolence! I haven't been a warrior since! I tried teaching for a while, but I was abandoned by my disciple.

And that's not all!

  • "What else happened to you?"

Take this stone south of the Tower of Insolence and commune with the tablet there.

While you're at it, see if you can find out what happened to my disciple and determine what the exile from the Hestui tribe is up to.

I can't bear to face my own people!

I've even forsaken Oroka since I was betrayed by my disciple, Muhark! I'll tell you what brought me to this sorry state if you bring me some Bitter Cold Vodka, the nectar of the gods! Master Chef Donath in the Hot Springs area knows how to make it!

Umarak Buka!

Have you heard of the conquest of the Tower of Insolence? Did you know that there was an exile of the Hestui tribe among the conquerors?!

That exile was capable of feats that even I, previously known as the strongest of all Orcs, could not do. He followed the path of self-discipline that my disciple abandoned!

Now you know the depths of my shame. Take this stone and go south of the Tower of Insolence. You'll find a tablet there. Use the stone to commune with it.

While you're at it, try and find out what happened to my disciple and what the exile of the Hestui tribe is up to.

Bitter Cold Vodka? Isn't that the Orcish liquor made by mixing the flames of Pa'agrio with the power of 99 dead spirits? You can't just ask me to make such a....

  • "Well you see, it's like this..."

Although it's hard to make genuine Bitter Cold Vodka, I can get pretty close!

But I must have a divine ingredient... Find Chef Jeremy nearby and ask him for an Ice Crystal.

I can't make Bitter Cold Vodka without it.

You brought the Ice Crystal! Excellent!

Now I'll make the Bitter Cold Vodka. I must warn you, the power of the spirits within the liquor is not that strong, and over time, it loses its effect. Will that be acceptable?

  • "That's OK."

Take this Bitter Cold Vodka and return to Prefect Lakan.

Hmm... if that's what you want, I'll do it. I should able to get pretty close to the original!

It will work for a simple ritual, but not in a formal religious rite.

I must have a divine ingredient known as an Ice Crystal. Chef Jeremy can tell you where to find one. I can't make Bitter Cold Vodka without it.

Well, if you say so...

Here you go. Take it to Lakan. This should do the trick.

Now he is preventing the birth of an Orc to rival the Giants, by selling its spirit to the Guil tribe. Muhark is standing beside the Tablet of Vision over the border in the former Northern outpost.

You scratch your noggin and wonder why nothing else happens with this Tablet.

We must prepare by reading books about Fallen Orc Muhark before going into mortal combat with him.

He awaits us at the north of the Ancient Battlegrounds which lies yonder over the border.

It was commanded to protect the giants by blocking the Orcs on their mad rush for power. It defeated Muhark and made itself the guardian.

And the Hestui exiles raised their weapons and are trying to fight against it. It is located on the Forsaken Plains, in the distant giant lands to the south. There stands the ancient tablet!
