Sword Muse 3rd class transfer quest
Quest: Saga of the Sword Muse
Saga of the Sword Muse is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 76+. It starts with Raien in Town of Aden.
Oh, singer of the sword. Who taught you and who are you singing for?
Sword Muse 3rd class transfer quest walkthrough
The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Sword Muse (Succession to the Legend Sword Muse): Swordsinger becomes Sword Muse.
Allies and the first amulet
Town of Aden. Find Master Raien in the Warriors Guild and take the quest.
The quest Saga of Sword Muse (Succession to the Legend Sword Muse), the third profession for the sword singers, is taken on reaching level 76 in Aden from the NPC Master Raien (stands in the warriors guild).
Town of Goddard. Find Blacksmith Feynn in the smithy.
From him we run to the smithy of Goddard (it is in the temple, on the left) and look there for the NPC Blacksmith Feynn.
Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Master Chef Donath.
Now we have to visit the location Hot Springs, where on the central glade stands the NPC Master Chef Donath, who needs the Ice Crystal. The sly ones have already done the quest The Finest Ingredients by this moment, and the crystal is in your quest inventory. If so, we talk to Donath again; if not, we go to get the crystal. Although no, we do not talk, because this is one of the third-profession quests where a fish is needed. For the SWS the fish Big White Fat Fish is needed; the fish is usually sold in Giran, and if you want to catch it yourself, you need to know that the white fish is caught at the 22nd level of fishing.
Talk to Master Chef Donath again. You receive:
Bitter Cold Beer.Town of Goddard. Return to Blacksmith Feynn in the smithy. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 1.In the end we exchange the Ice Crystal and the fish for some thingy and return to Feynn in Goddard. He gives the first resonance amulet, which has to be carried to the first tablet.
First three tablets
Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The first tablet is the same for all classes, and it stands between Oren and Aden, not far from the Tower of Insolence. So we teleport to the Tower of Insolence and, without entering the tower, run towards the tablet (I usually leave a cat by this tablet so as not to run far).
Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have:
Resonance Amulet - 2.We activate the tablet and learn that the second resonance amulet and the second tablet are in the Valley of Saints, and the amulet itself has to be knocked out of the angels that circle round the tablet in great numbers. The amulet drops from the last angel (that is the rule on PTS servers; on Java ones it drops from the 4th mob). You may be in a party while doing it, and you may be healed. In general all the professions are sent to the Valley of Saints, but there are several tablets and groups of angels there; which of them you need is shown on the map. The angels stand below, in deep pits. The sword singers have to run to the left from the teleport point, a little way through the mobs; it is not long, check by the map. We beat all the mobs Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge; the resonance amulet drops from the last one.
Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.
We talk to the second tablet, and it tells us that at the third tablet a monster awaits you; by defeating it you get the next amulet. The third tablet of the sword singers is far beyond Ketra, where the map says "Pilgrim's Temple". You will have to teleport to Ketra and run round all of it on the right, bypassing the mobs, and then a long way across the field. Everything is seen on the map.
Pilgrim's Temple. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Kill Sword Player Biel (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 3.A quest mob climbs out of the third tablet, and it has to be beaten. When you took the profession quest, a little book dropped into your inventory; if you click on it, it opens, and in it is written how to defeat this mob. For the sword singers it says there that the mob will hang debuffs on you, which you have to remove by casting your songs instead of them, namely Song of Water, Song of Wind and Song of Vengeance. Heaven knows how it is implemented where: somewhere I saw the mob spamming debuffs constantly, while on the last server it did nothing at all, and I simply kicked it to death. Most likely it depends on the build. The mob is called Sword Player Biel.
Return to Tablet of Vision.
The next amulet drops from the mob, we activate the tablet, and an entry appears in the quest that we have to go to the wild beast farm to the NPC Beast Herder Tunatun. Why such an honour fell to the sword singers I have no idea; usually nobody is sent here. The NPC stands next to the water tower, which is seen from everywhere there.
Divine Stone and the fourth tablet
Wild Beast Reserve (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Beast Herder Tunatun.
He needs the Divine Stone of Wisdom. If you did the quests in Varka or Ketra beforehand, the little stone is already with you; if not, you will have to go and do them: first get the second level of the alliance with Ketra or Varka (Alliance with Ketra Orcs or Alliance with Varka Silenos), and then, depending on whether you chose the alliance with the orcs or with the goats (oh, oh, not goats but FAUNS), the quest for the Divine Stone of Wisdom: Magical Power of Fire or Magical Power of Water. In short, in the end you must have the Divine Stone of Wisdom in your inventory (the ordinary one). Tunatun asks where you will go to get the little stone, to Ketra or to Varka; you can choose any answer, it decides nothing: the main thing is that you do the quests and bring the stone, and where exactly from makes no difference to him.
Talk to Beast Herder Tunatun again. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 4.In any case, having got the stone, we give it to the NPC, and in return he gives the fourth amulet. So we have to run to the fourth tablet. It is one for all classes and is next to Ketra; there are no mobs on the way, so we teleport to the entrance of Ketra, get on the path and run along the road to the left, if you stand facing the location.
Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Halisha's minions and the last tablets
Town of Goddard. Find Priest Cerenas in the temple.
After the dialogue with the fourth tablet we go to the NPC Priest Cerenas, who is in the temple of Goddard; the next task is to beat 700 mobs in the location Shrine of Loyalty, and out of the 701st a quest mob jumps and gives up the amulet. Well, if we do not want to beat so many mobs, he agrees to an alternative, for which the Four Sepulchers have to be passed. Which way you choose depends only on you; I usually beat the mobs.
Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have:
Halisha's Mark ×700.We set off for the Shrine of Loyalty and collect 700 items Halisha's Mark; out of the 701st the Archon of Halisha climbs. The mob is sluggish and drops the next amulet.
Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 5.Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Having got the amulet, we set out for the fifth tablet. It is the same for all classes and is right here, in the Wall of Argos, only it is handier to reach it by returning to Goddard and teleporting to the entrance of the location again. From the teleport point we turn left, run past two glades with deer and run onto a big glade on the left (also with deer). At the far end stands the fifth tablet.
Hunters Village. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The fifth tablet tells you that it remains to get the last, sixth resonance amulet, which is next to the last tablet not far from Hunters Village; there is no need to teleport anywhere: we simply run out of Hunters Village, run along the path, across the little bridge, and then a little more along the path to the tablet. We talk to the tablet, and nearby appear the NPC Moon Voice Irene and the mob Fallen Angel Narcissus. The mob is huge. Naturally, we beat the quest mob. You will not kill it, but soon it disappears, shouting something about a speedy revenge on you for meddling in what is not your business.
Talk to Tablet of Vision again.
Town of Aden. Return to Master Raien in the Warriors Guild to complete the quest.
We talk to Moon Voice Irene, and she hands over the last amulet. We activate the tablet and return to Aden to Raien. We get the profession Sword Muse, some adena (from 5kk to 50kk, depending on the rates) and the book Secret Book of Giants.
Tips
- Collect
Ice Crystal and
Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip. - The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.
Big White Fat Fish is a fishing catch; the quest journal says it takes a fisherman with a Fishing skill of level 23–25. The fish can be traded, so you can also buy it from another player.

So you're the Great Swordsinger I've heard about.
You've comforted many a soldier with your songs of the glory of Eva.
Some say they embody the wisdom of Eva, as the songs of a Swordsinger are taught by the goddess. Would you like to hear the story?
- "Yes!"
You must be well qualified to understand the way. I don't think you should do this. I don't think you can talk to him.
I don't even want to think about him anymore. (This quest may only be undertaken by characters of level 76 or above.)
Don't mind his grotesque beard and ugly smile, Blacksmith Feynn of the Town of Goddard knows of the source of Eva's songs.
Take this book, it tells of the fall of a Swordsinger.
Blacksmith Feynn of the Town of Goddard knows of the source of Eva's songs. Find him.
Goddess Eva's songs and poems gave us intelligence, knowledge and magical power.
It belonged only to the Elves. The traditional swordsong may be a far cry from its origins after mingling with the Humans, but it is still our tradition.
The story tells of a tablet that contains the power of the original song. You'll have to solve one problem...
I dreamed of your return. Do you understand Eva's will?
The one who sings her true song is called Eva's Sword Muse.
- "What should I do now?"
You should know better than I.
I only need to give you the title you are due, one who sings Eva's swordsong...
You should know better than I.
Your soul may be ready, but your body is lacking.
(Class transfer is allowed only for characters of level 76 or above. Do not abandon quest before class transfer is complete!)
Henceforth, you shall be known as a Sword Muse!
You must continue your training.

Songs should be used for healing, not for seduction. Be careful how you use them!
Now's not a good time!
This is dangerous, get back!
He got away!
I'm glad you're here.
Together we will surely win.
A trick of the dark arts forces people to listen and applaud. This is not the song of Eva!
This is not a good time to chat!
It's gone!
That creature is trying to corrupt swordsingers.
A singer doesn't just sing by herself, that would make you lonely! A singer exists for the audience, to make them happy and comfort them when they are sad.
- "I agree."

Why haven't you communed with the stone tablet yet?
You're a great singer!

What? The Resonance Amulet...?
Hmm... Even if I had it, I couldn't just give it to you...
No offense. I've had it since I was a child. I used it to talk with animals.
I used to love talking to animals, they truly have much to say!
Hmm.. The Resonance Amulet would probably help you. Perhaps I could lend it to you, IF you honestly need it. But I'll need something in return, a substitute if you will.
- Ask about the item for substitution
Ketra Orc... Alright. Let me tell you. There is a war going on, over land.
Helping Ketra Orc means fighting against Varka Silenos in this war. I'm not a fighter. That's why I need you.
Should you change your mind, go to them. But bring me the Divine Stone of Wisdom when all is said and done.
Varka Silenos... Alright. Varka Silenos is locked in a war against Ketra Orc.
Helping Varka Silenos means becoming enemies with Ketra Orc. I won't have a part in any of it. That's why you're here, to take on this mission for me.
Should you change your mind, go to them. But bring me the Divine Stone of Wisdom when it's all over.
Do you have the Divine Stone of Wisdom? The stone is proof of their friendship. Without it the Resonance Amulet stays right here with me.
Oh, and don't mention my name. I don't want either side disliking me okay?
You brought the Divine Stone of Wisdom...
Very good. You've earned my Resonance of Amulet.
Imagine if I had two Divine Stones of Wisdom. One for Varka Silenos and one for Ketra Orc.
Just a thought. Always good to have a hope, right?
Oh, here. Take it, before I blabber on.
- Take the Resonance Amulet
On the North side of Varka Silenos Stronghold is a tablet, you'll need it for the Resonance Amulet.
You'll want to go there.
That is the Divine Stone of Wisdom. It belongs to both Ketra Orc and Varka Silenos races.
It's not much of a secret, but it holds the ability to communicate other races.
We can come to an arrangement I think..
I'll trade the Resonance Amulet when you give me the Stone. To get the Stone you'll have to earn the trust of a race. So which race will you choose?
- Say that you will go to Ketra Orc to acquire the Stone
- Say that you will go to Varka Silenos to acquire the Stone
I wish I could tell you exactly how it works, but I really don't know. All I've heard is that the Resonance Amulet can connect with a special tablet, the one located in the North side of Varka Silenos Stronghold.
You'll want to find that tablet. For me, I have my own plans with the Divine Stone of Wisdom..
Tablet of Vision7 pages
As you near the Tablet of Vision, you sense a presence. Her desire for love from everyone left her completely alone!
I read a critique once of the Song of Biel. Can I harmonize with her?
- "I'll just give it a try!"
Applause in an empty theater and a stage set for only one... She is truly in a world of her own!
Eva herself must have sent me here!
It is not time to examine the Tablet of Vision. You're the only audience! You may have to pay attention to her song, otherwise...
You sense a disturbance near the tablet.
The time hasn't yet come for you to prove yourself.
The Resonance Amulet starts emitting light as soon as you near the Tablet of Vision.
- Commune with the Tablet of Vision.
Thoughts beyond understanding are seared into your brain. You hear the faint whisper of a woman's voice.
A vision appears of a man who believes that the thing everyone gave up on is possible.
He hopes that one day everyone will understand each other! He's the Beast Herder Tunatun in the north of the Rune Township.
You do not need this tablet anymore. Get the next Resonance Amulet from Beast Herder Tunatun.
Tablet of Vision7 pages
As you approach the tablet, you sense a presence. Will you be able to overcome the temptation...?
Hey, where did she go?
A stage opens to thunderous applause, but you are the only audience...
.....There is a tablet in front of you. Was that an illusion? A voice seems to float by on the breeze.
- Examine the area.
A vision appears of the devil you saw before... But who is that lady fighting him now?
The tablet is quiet.
Talk with Moon Voice Irene.
You feel a presence as you approach the tablet.
There's a disturbance going on somewhere. Best not to get involved. It's too early to start fighting.
The Resonance Amulet emits light as you approach the tablet.
- Commune with the Tablet of Vision.
Vast amounts of knowledge rush into your mind. You hear the sound of distant laughter.
A voice whispers, "Another Hero is born."
The lady in blue disagrees, but he doesn't need his mother's protection anymore.
Song is the key. A song is complete only when there is a singer and a listener.
The singer lives to heal the heart of the listener through song. This is the lost magic.
You can sing Eva's song.
Go back to Master Raien of the Town of Aden.
You can't commune with this tablet. Meet Master Raien of the Town of Aden and finish the pilgrimage.
Feynn6 pages
Ha ha! So you're here for the teachings of Eva, eh? Hmm... OK, but it won't come cheap! Get it? What's in it for me?
No, I don't want your money or gemstones... Nothing like that! I've got all of that kind of stuff I need, thanks...
What can you offer the man who has everything?
- "How about a song?"
What good is a song without a beer?
Bring me a Bitter Cold Beer from Chef Jonas in the Town of Goddard...
That would even make the squealing of a pig sound like a beautiful aria!
Huh?
Is that a beer?! Amazing! You really brought it! I thought you were just a weakling entertainer!
I'm impressed! I guess if I live long enough, I'll see everything! You even brought snacks! You really take care of your customers, don't you?
You passed the beer test with flying colors, but now comes the hard part!
I haven't heard you sing yet! Sing me a song and then I'll decide whether or not to tell you how to get the stone of pilgrimage!
- "OK, here goes...!"
Huh? Have you forgotten where the stone tablet is already? I told you, it's in the southern part of the Tower of Insolence. Got it?
Do you have the Resonance Amulet? Don't drop it on the way there!
You have a long journey ahead. Be careful!
You're really going to sing? This should be hilarious!
Honestly, sometimes I just don't get you Elves! We Dwarves never listen to music sober! It's like eating pancakes without syrup!
Have you ever tasted beer? From the moment it hits your tongue, a cold tingle shoots through you like an electric current... straight to your brain! Bring me some of the legendary beer and I'll listen to you sing!
What do you say? I'll bet Chef Donath in the Hot Springs area of Goddard can make the legendary Bitter Cold Beer!
If you get it from him, I'll listen to you sing!
Wait, let me take a drink first!... Gulp...Gulp...Gulp
......
....
...
.
Oh yeah, great song, buddy!
You passed the test! You know, a while back, a lady wearing a blue dress appeared to me in a dream!
She said that soon I'd be visited by a singer seeking a test. She told me I should do it.
Do you know the test? It was respect! To pass the test, the person would do as I asked, no matter how rude my manner was. And, he would sing a song with a sincere heart...
Here is the Resonance Amulet. Take it with you to the Tablet of Vision. The first tablet can be found in the south part of the Tower of Insolence.
I'll pray that your song becomes popular! Oh, and thanks for the beer! Ha! Good luck!
Donath6 pages
What can I help you with? What? Bitter Cold Beer? I've been getting a lot of requests for legendary dishes lately! Such is the plight of a great chef!
Quality is always in demand! Listen!
You'll need to bring me the ingredients on your own. Understand?
- "Yes, I understand."
You haven't found the ingredients yet? Before this oil burns, you need to bring me a fat white fish and an Ice Crystal!
Ask Chef Jeremy regarding the Ice Crystal. You'll have to find the fish on your own. Hurry!
Oh, you brought the Ice Crystal and the fish!
Great! Then, I'll make Bitter Cold Beer. According to legend, the original Bitter Cold Beer had a slightly fishy aroma. To get that, you need to roast this fish and capture the smell of it in the ice... In other words, cut up the fish and roast only its fins and bones...
Chop the Ice Crystal into small pieces. A regular knife freezes the moment it touches the Ice Crystal. I use a special knife.
This knife was made by the top maestro of the Black Anvil guild. He actually collected starlight and pummeled it! Making this beer is no easy task!
- Wait.
Why are you still here? I've done everything I could do!
I just want to have my food enjoyed by as many people as possible, to give them joy in their lives!
Now, take the beer to the Dwarf!
Now, I'll tell you what I'll need. Most important is the legendary Ice Crystal! Chef Jeremy will know where to get one. Knowing Jeremy, he'll want something in return.
You'll also need to bring a fat, white fish. I simply can't make Bitter Cold Beer without it! Bring these things to me. I'll get the fire ready...
Great! Now put the Ice Crystals into the beer and let the aroma of the fish just...
And here we go! Bitter Cold Beer! As a bonus, I'll fry up the left-over fish for you to have with your beer. Beer and fried fish are excellent together!
I don't know why you're doing this, but I hope the Dwarf enjoys it! It's just a pitcher of beer, but it took a lot of effort!
Now, take it and go!

He's waiting at the next Tablet of Vision, in the northeast corner of the Ketra Orc Outpost!

Maybe, I will meet Biel, the cursed songster at the next Tablet.

The Resonance Amulet, eh? I'll bet you're looking for the tablet too, aren't you?
Ah yes, the song of the Swordsinger... Surely you've heard the story of the legendary singer who followed the same path!? What was his name? Biel or something...?
What? You fought him?
So the stories were true! The merciful heart of Eva must have called you to help the one who has lost his way...
Legend says that the goddess herself watches over Elves on that pilgrimage! That's you!
If my memory serves, you'll find the location of the next stone from the tablet.
Unfortunately, this one is mine and you can't have it!
- "Why not?"
To get the stone you must fight the Archon of Halisha in the Four Sepulchers or at the Shrine of Loyalty.
Eva would be quite displeased!
My only function is to guide pilgrims on their way.
You've already been on this path for a while, and seen several tablets. You are truly a pilgrim.
This stone will prove your victory over the Archon of Halisha and his minions. Find them in the Four Sepulchers or in the Shrine of Loyalty near the Wall of Argos. If you fight the enemies and collect the marks of Halisha 700 or more, you can see the Archon of Halisha. You must slaughter the Archon of Halisha!
