Saga of the Fortune Seeker
Saga of the Fortune Seeker is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 76+. It starts with Mond in Rune Township.
The legendary grail of splendor symbolizes the knowledge of the gods. It's part of the absolute geometry that Dwarven Centurions have long sought. This knowledge allows one to become a Fortune Seeker, controlling wealth and destiny!
Saga of the Fortune Seeker walkthrough
The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Fortune Seeker (Succession to the Legend Fortune Seeker): Bounty Hunter becomes Fortune Seeker.
Allies and the first amulet
Rune Township. Find Chief Inspector Mond on the square and take the quest.
The quest Saga of the Fortune Seeker (Succession to the Legend Fortune Seeker) is taken on reaching level 76 in the town of Rune from Chief Inspector Mond (he stands opposite the gatekeeper, by the warehouse).
Town of Goddard. Find Pamela Aprodia in the warehouse.
From the dwarf we go to the warehouse of Goddard and in the right corner find Pamela Aprodia, who will give out the main tasks.

Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Information Broker Bavarin.
This lady sends us off to the Hot Springs to the dwarf Information Broker Bavarin (a strange old fellow, bashful, he kept covering something up during the talk), who, judging by the title, trades in some kind of information. And as usual, he tells us nothing until we bring him the Ice Crystal. I hope that by this moment you have already done the quest The Finest Ingredients and the crystal is in your quest inventory. If so, we talk to Bavarin again; if not, we go to get the crystal.
Talk to Information Broker Bavarin again. You receive:
Sealed Envelope.Town of Goddard. Return to Pamela Aprodia in the warehouse. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 1.In the end we get an envelope with the information from the dwarf and return to Pamela in the warehouse of Goddard. She gives out the first resonance amulet, which has to be taken to the first tablet.
First three tablets
Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The first tablet is the same for all classes, and it stands between Oren and Aden, not far from the Tower of Insolence. So we teleport to the Tower of Insolence and, without entering the tower, run towards the tablet (I usually leave a cat by this tablet so as not to run far).
Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have:
Resonance Amulet - 2.We activate the tablet and learn that the second resonance amulet and the second tablet are in the Valley of Saints, and the amulet itself has to be knocked out of the angels that circle round the tablet in great numbers. The amulet drops from the last angel (that is the rule on PTS servers; on Java ones it drops from the 4th mob). You may be in a party while doing it, and you may be healed. In general all the professions are sent to the Valley of Saints, but there are several tablets and groups of angels there; which of them you need is shown on the map. The angels stand below, in deep pits. We hammer all the mobs Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge; the resonance amulet drops from the last one.
Valley of Saints (teleport from Rune Township). Talk to Tablet of Vision.
We talk to the second tablet, and it tells us that at the third tablet a monster awaits you; by defeating it you get the next amulet. The third tablet of the spoilers is the nastiest one, because it is in the very depths of the location Wall of Argos, and before you plod your way to it you have to push through a crowd of x5 and x6 angels, and often that does not work at the first attempt. So we actively look for a blade dancer with the dance Dance of Shadow and ask to be escorted there.
Shrine of Loyalty. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Kill Archangel Iconoclasis (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 3.A quest mob climbs out of the third tablet, and it has to be beaten. When you took the profession quest, a little book dropped into your inventory; if you click on it, it opens, and in it is written how to defeat this mob. Specifically it says there that the mob is vulnerable to blunt weapons, so we take a little axe in hand and hammer away, from time to time using the skills that work with a blunt, that is, all sorts of stuns.
Return to Tablet of Vision.
The next amulet drops from the mob, we activate the tablet and return to Goddard to Pamela.
Divine Stone and the fourth tablet
Town of Goddard. Return to Pamela Aprodia in the warehouse.
She needs the Divine Stone of Wisdom. If you did the quests in Varka or Ketra beforehand, the little stone is already with you; if not, you will have to go and do them: first get the second level of the alliance with Ketra or Varka (Alliance with Ketra Orcs or Alliance with Varka Silenos), and then, depending on whether you chose the alliance with the orcs or with the goats, the quest for the Divine Stone of Wisdom: Magical Power of Fire or Magical Power of Water. In short, in the end you must have the Divine Stone of Wisdom in your inventory (the ordinary one). Pamela asks where you will go to get the little stone, to Ketra or to Varka; you can choose any answer, it decides nothing: the main thing is that you do the quests and bring the stone, and where exactly from makes no difference to her.
Talk to Pamela Aprodia again. You receive:
Resonance Amulet - 4.In any case, having got the stone, we give it to Pamela, and in return she gives the fourth amulet. So we have to run to the fourth tablet. It is one for all classes and is next to Ketra; there are no mobs on the way, so we teleport to Ketra and run along the road to the left, if you stand facing the location.
Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Halisha's minions and the last tablets
Town of Goddard. Return to Pamela Aprodia in the warehouse.
After the dialogue with the fourth tablet we go to Pamela again; the next task is to beat 700 mobs in the location Shrine of Loyalty, and out of the 701st a quest mob jumps and gives up the amulet. Well, if we do not want to beat so many mobs, she agrees to an alternative, for which the Four Sepulchers have to be passed. Which way you choose depends only on you; I usually beat the mobs.
Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have:
Halisha's Mark ×700.We set off for the Shrine of Loyalty and collect 700 items Halisha's Mark; out of the 701st the Archon of Halisha climbs. The mob is sluggish and drops the next amulet.
Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get:
Resonance Amulet - 5.Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
Having got the amulet, we set out for the fifth tablet. It is right here, in the Wall of Argos, only it is handier to reach it by returning to Goddard and teleporting to the entrance of the location again. From the teleport point we turn left, run past two glades with deer and run onto a big glade on the left (also with deer). At the far end stands the fifth tablet.
Rune Harbor. Talk to Tablet of Vision.
The fifth tablet tells you that it remains to get the last, sixth resonance amulet, which is next to the last tablet in the location Forest of the Dead. We talk to the tablet, and nearby appear Pamela and the quest mob Minervia Van Hacken. Naturally, we beat the quest mob. You will not kill it, but soon it disappears, shouting something about a speedy revenge on you for meddling in what is not your business.
Talk to Tablet of Vision again.
Rune Township. Return to Chief Inspector Mond on the square to complete the quest.
We talk to Pamela Aprodia, and she hands over the last amulet. We activate the tablet and return to Rune to Chief Inspector Mond. We get the profession Fortune Seeker, some adena (from 5kk to 50kk, depending on the rates) and the book Secret Book of Giants.
Tips
- Collect
Ice Crystal and
Divine Stone of Wisdom before you start: both come from side quests, and with them in the bag the saga is one continuous trip. - The marks are counted per character, but monsters of the Shrine of Loyalty die much faster in a party, and several players can collect at the same time.
Ice Crystal is the reward of the repeatable quest The Finest Ingredients - Part 1, which Jeremy gives at the Hot Springs.

Do you know who I am? I'm an inspector from the Bronze Key Guild, but that's just a superficial job title!
What I'm about to tell you is known by only a few people in the whole Dwarven kingdom! Listen carefully! I won't repeat it.
The Bronze Key Guild was originally formed to resist the von Hellmann family that tried to take over the Elmore Kingdom and the Benandanti cartel that followed them. It was an elite group, consisting of only Dwarves with the very best skills.
Our guild has watched you for a long time. We saw you pass the cruel test of Master Toma and get your Scavenger license, and when you made 7 journeyman's rings and passed the Trial of the Guildsman. Some time ago, we concluded that a Dwarf with your willpower and acumen deserves to be a member of our guild. Now I have an offer for you. Will you join us in defeating the Benandanti cartel?
- "I'll do it."

Please keep up the hard work.
(This quest may only be undertaken only by Bounty Hunters of level 76 or above.)
First you must speak with Pamela Aprodia, the agent dispatched to Goddard. Although she's not a Dwarf, she's an excellent agent who's been working with us for a long time. She's probably investigating the six tablets in the Town of Goddard right now. You'd better go there and meet her.
One more thing. Before you leave, read this report. It's an Investigative Report on the spirit protecting one of the tablets. If you follow the Benandantis, you will probably come across this spirit. You should read it now.
You'd better get going! May Maphr be with you!
Go to the Town of Goddard and speak with Pamela Aprodia. She'll tell you more about the tablets.
Hurry! The secrets of the tablets must never be handed over to the Benandantis!
Well then, let's spit on the ground and shake hands! The trust between us has been established while Maphr has watched over us.
Now I'll tell you what to do. The Benandanti cartel is searching for a legendary relic known as the Grail of Splendor. They would have found it by now if it were a real object, but it's not! It is actually the knowledge that reaches into the domain of the gods! It may be a part of the absolute geometry that elders of our guild have searched for since ancient times!
There is nothing to be learned in books or scrolls about the grail. The gods wrote their secrets on six ancient stone tablets, and put them in secluded places, guarded by fearsome monsters! If you absorb the knowledge held in the six tablets, you'll attain the level of Fortune Seeker, one who controls disasters and even the flow of destiny!
We must not let this valuable legacy slip into the hands of Benandantis! You must get the grail before they do!
- "What do I have to do?"
Ha, ha, ha! Welcome back! You've cut members of the Benedictine Cartel out and beautifully finished your job!
- "Now what happens?"
You've drunk from the Grail of Splendor and learned the ultimate absolute geometry! You've achieved the sacred knowledge! My only role is to confer an appropriate title on the person who has that knowledge. I hereby confer upon you the title of Fortune Seeker!
Congratulations! I can't believe that a young Dwarf like you has become the Fortune Seeker of our time! Am I witnessing the beginning of the new destiny?
I expect great things from you in the future! Please work hard to become a positive role model for all the Dwarves! May Maphr's abundance be with you!
You've drunk from the Grail of Splendor and learned the ultimate absolute geometry, but you still haven't attained the sacred knowledge!
Just like food, knowledge must be digested to become truth. Come back after you've trained some more.
(Only a character of level 76 or above may transfer to the Fortune Seeker class. Don't abandon the quest until class transfer is complete.)

Did M send you to me? I mean Mr. Bond...
The Benandantis are one step ahead of us. They already know the location of the stone tablet. We must find out what they've learned!
- "How?"
Oh my, are you still here? Hurry to the hot springs area and meet Bavarin, the Dwarven information broker! The Benandanti cartel is setting wheels in motion even as we speak. We must locate the tablet as soon as possible. Time is of the essence -- please hurry!
Is this the document from Bavarin? It shows not only the location of the stone tablet, but how to read the questions written on the tablet. This is better than I expected. Excellent work, I underestimated you.
Let's read it...
Nobody can read the passage written on the six stone Tablets of Vision because the gods don't want us to learn the highest level of magic. They're afraid we would become arrogant and self-righteous, like Emperor Baium, Demon Beleth, or the giants did when they made war against them.
They broke the tablet, where the most profound principles of magic were written - it was used to teach the magic to the giants - into six pieces and changed the letters on the tablet into the god's characters. They can only be understood by the gods or those who are as powerful. This way, nobody could learn the knowledge. But there is a method! I'll explain.
Wow, this is really interesting, isn't it?
- "Read on!"
We can find the Tablet of Vision with the Resonance Amulet. Can you sense the location of the tablet? Then go immediately!
You should go to the Hot Springs area and speak with Bavarin. He already knows me. He might tell our enemies that the Bronze Key Guild is on the move if I went. A stranger like you should approach him.
You must hurry! The messengers of the Benandanti cartel are running swiftly!
Be patient. Ahem!
If you use the power of the Resonance Amulet, you can understand the characters of the gods written on the Tablet of Vision. Also, if you hold the amulet with your hands, you will know intuitively where the tablet is hidden. It isn't yet known who on earth made this. But this much is evident. Someone is secretly helping us learn the knowledge forbidden by the gods!
Then this amulet that we took from the Benandanti member we killed may be the Resonance Amulet! Take it! If what is written in the document is true, we can find the Tablet of Vision with it. Can you sense the location of the tablet? Then go immediately! I'll gather more information.
Oh, it was you! Wow, you defeated the Archangel Iconoclasis alone! Very impressive! I could really go for someone like you!
However... The Benandantis are still ahead of us, and it seems that they already communed with the fourth Tablet of Vision! Fortunately, I followed them and learned several pieces of information.
- "And then what?"
Very well! Go to Messenger Wahkan of the Ketra Orcs. They will be hiring mercenaries. This is a good opportunity to gain their trust!
The Divine Stone of Wisdom we are looking for is possessed by Soul Guide Asefa, the chief shaman of the Ketra Orcs. If things aren't going well, you can switch sides and approach the Varka Silenos tribe.
Then go to Messenger Naran Ashanuk of the Ketra Orcs. They will be hiring mercenaries. This is a good opportunity to gain their trust!
The Divine Stone of Wisdom we are looking for is possessed by Soul Guide Udan Mardui, the chief shaman of the Varka Silenos. If things aren't going well, you can switch sides and approach the Ketra Orcs.
To use the fourth Resonance Amulet, we have to get the Divine Stone of Wisdom worshipped by the Ketra Orcs and the Varka Silenos. You have to gain their trust first, but it won't be easy as they are wild and warlike tribes.
A fragment of the fourth Resonance Amulet is actually worshiped by an uncivilized tribe who call it their Divine Stone of Wisdom! Now put these two stones together...
- Put the Divine Stone of Wisdom and Pamela's fragment together.
You haven't left yet? Take the Resonance Amulet I gave you to the fourth tablet. You'll know its location intuitively. If it's difficult to find with your feelings, use the map.
You can feel the Resonance Amulet? It must be this small piece of stone that I stole from the Benandantis. It's the fragment of the fourth Resonance Amulet. However, for it to work properly, we have to find the missing piece and put them together.
The rest of the Resonance Amulet is called the Divine Stone of Wisdom and is worshiped as an idol by the uncivilized tribes in this area. The Ketra Orcs and the Varka Silenos each have one. To get the stone from them, you must first win their trust. Since they are wild and warlike, I don't know which tribe you should approach.
- "I'll approach the Ketra Orcs."
- "I'll approach the Varka Silenos."
The two pieces fit together perfectly! Take this Resonance Amulet and find the fourth Tablet of Vision. Hurry! We must win the race against the Benandantis! And who knows? Maybe you'll become the Fortune Seeker...
I've been waiting for you! My soldiers recently attacked a convoy of Benandantis and captured vital information! With this Resonance Amulet... This is the Resonance Amulet you felt. But haven't you felt that its power is weaker than before? This Resonance Amulet is useless since it lost its power.
Hey, it is too early to give up! I've recently learned that there are two more Resonance Amulets that are exactly the same as this! One can be found at the Imperial Tomb and the other at the Wall of Argos. At the cemetery, look in the Four Sepulchers. If you decide to go to the Wall of Argos, look in the Shrine of Loyalty in the northeastern part of the valley. And...
- "And...?"
To get the fifth Resonance Amulet, you must destroy the Archon of Halisha. Find the devil in the Imperial Tomb or at the Wall of Argos.
If you go to the Imperial Tomb, you can confront him by entering the Four Sepulchers. If you go to the Shrine of Loyalty, you must attack his minions as you see them. Then Archon of Halisha will appear. Keep in mind that you must destroy him to get the Resonance Amulet. OK, leave now! MMMMMAH!!! This is the kiss of luck!.
There is no way to avoid meeting the Archon of Halisha. Yes, because he has the fifth Resonance Amulet.

You definitely sense the Resonance Amulet. You seem to understand the location of the next Resonance Amulet.
- Touch the Tablet.
An invisible force pushes you away whenever you go to touch the tablet.
You must have the Resonance Amulet to access this Tablet of Vision. It is being held by an archangel. Defeat Archangel Iconoclasis and take the Resonance Amulet.
Someone else is currently communing with the Tablet of Vision. Come back later.
Hieroglyphics are engraved on the tablet. They emit a dim light, with a mysterious and powerful magic.

While you are holding the stone to work on it, you start to acquire a new sense of knowledge as you hear the voices of thousands reading scriptures in the background. You now realize the truth of the world and yet understand nothing. One of the voices is a familiar female whisper. But it quickly disappears.
Slowly, you sense the stone... You see the Village of the Goddard Castle... Dark Elven... and Pamela Aprodia... You sense that she is holding the stone in her hand.
In an instant, the images disappear and then the stone goes completely dark.
Putting your hands on the tablet, the location of the Resonance Amulet again becomes clear. Pamela Aprodia in the Town of Goddard has the amulet! Go to the town and get it from her.

You can feel the presence of the Resonance Amulet near the tablet. You feel you can find out its exact location if you lay your hands on the tablet.
- Lay hands on the tablet.
As you are about to lay your hands on the tablet, you feel something behind you. A creature, unknown to you, appears...
You need the Resonance Amulet to decipher the hieroglyphs on the tablet. Speak with Pamela Aprodia about the Resonance Amulet.
Someone is already communing with the Tablet of Vision. Please try again later.
The tablet is inscribed with indecipherable hieroglyphs. The letters emit a dim light and the tablet seems to manifest strong magical powers.
- Use the Resonance Amulet.
As you hold the Resonance Amulet and concentrate on it, the tablet starts to be surrounded by bright light. You hear several hundred people simultaneously reading scriptures, and new knowledge starts to enter your mind. On one hand, you feel like you understand everything. On the other hand, you feel that you don't understand anything.
You hear someone's low-pitched laughter. And you hear a man's voice.
"You now have one more successor that you like."
A blonde woman replies.
"No, he's like a baby who just started walking. But he will no longer need his mother's protection..."
All images disappear, and you start to recognize the surrounding environment. You are starting to understand the knowledge you have gained from the tablet little by little. The pilgrimage of the tablet seems to have ended. Return to the Rune Township and see Chief Inspector Mond.
Nothing happens any more even when you lay your hands on the tablet. Now that you have finished your pilgrimage of the tablet, return to the Rune Township and see Chief Inspector Mond.

Dammit, Sharona! I came here for a rest, but I keep having to deal with customers! Could you please handle them from now on?
So, what do you want? You're here for the Grail of Splendor, aren't you? How do I know that? Well, I have my ways...
You're too late! I already sold that information to the Benandanti Cartel. Made a pretty penny, too, I must say! Of course, I'm perfectly willing to give you the same information for the right price. Ha!
- "How much do you want for it?"
It won't come cheap, my friend! This wine tastes terrible warm! Bring me some ice crystals for my wine right away! Chef Jeremy can tell you where to find them. He's around here somewhere...
Excellent! You brought the ice crystal! Now I can finally enjoy my wine!
You've made quite a name for yourself around here, my friend! You destroyed Bumbalump, didn't you? I heard that yeti was as big as a house! How did you kill that critter? You're awesome!
- "Please give me proof that I brought you an ice crystal."
Hey, why are you still here? Pamela must be wondering where you are! Don't keep a lady waiting! Take her the document that I gave you immediately!
You think I'm just a silly old Dwarf, don't you? Well, I don't care what you think! What's the bottom line? Where's my profit? That philosophy has served us Dwarves well for thousands of years! Do you think I care what I look like to you? Rubbish!
Well, speaking of my profit...
I want a nice cool glass of wine after my bath. I simply must have some of the legendary ice crystals that can only be found in this area! Chef Jeremy can tell you where to find them. I'll bet if you help him find some soy sauce, he'll tell you where to find the ice crystals. He's around here somewhere...
You're a real stick in the mud, aren't you? OK, I'll give you the information... Now where did I put it?
Ah, yes, here it is! Take these documents, and please give Pamela my regards! Goodbye!
