Illegitimate Child of the Goddess
Illegitimate Child of the Goddess is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 63–67. It starts with Oltran in Town of Aden.
Dark Elves think of Shilen as their mother, as she may well be, but children born of such lunacy are bound to cast a dark shadow.
Illegitimate Child of the Goddess walkthrough
A quest for the recipes of A-grade jewelry and shields. It is taken, starting from level 63, from Oltran, who is in the dark elf guild of the glorious town of Aden. It is repeatable, there are no race restrictions, and the reward is one recipe of A-grade jewelry or shield at random. In fact the quest matters only on the C3 and C4 chronicles, because after them all the A recipes were put into the drop and spoil of mobs, and exactly the recipes given by this quest can be spoiled on Interlude. Nobody even thinks of taking the quest, because on Interlude any of these recipes can be spoiled in 5 minutes.
Town of Aden. Take the quest from Grand Master Oltran.
The Forbidden Gateway. Hunt Trives (lv. 63), Falibati (lv. 64) until you have:
Snake Scale ×108.To get the reward you have to arrange a total extermination of the mobs in The Forbidden Gateway, namely of two of them: Trives and Falibati, of levels 63 and 64. The third mob on the same glades, Doom Knight, takes no part in this quest, but soul crystals are charged on it up to level 10, so you can vary the farming, because you will have to beat the Doom Knights anyway, they are aggressive. You have to farm 108 items called Snake Scale. Why such an odd number? Who knows what the Koreans were doing when they wrote it. The items drop quite well, by my observations about one item from two mobs, so you will have to finish off at least 200 of the needed mobs, and the unneeded ones get under your feet too.
Town of Aden. Return to Grand Master Oltran to complete the quest. Hand over:
Snake Scale ×108.Having farmed the needed number of quest items, we return to the starting NPC for the reward. One recipe is given at random; there are no failures, but the recipe is not always the one you need. You can get a recipe for the craft of Majestic jewelry, of Phoenix jewelry, of the Nightmare shield (
Recipe: Sealed Shield of Nightmare(60%)) or of the Dark Crystal shield (Recipe: Sealed Dark Crystal Shield(60%)). They say the hardest to get is the recipe for the MJ earring (Recipe: Sealed Majestic Earring(70%)). Then I was simply lucky.

Ah, yes, the bitter ramblings of an old man. As you approach true enlightenment, the shadows grow darker. Among those who pursue glory, some work diligently against the shadow at every opportunity.
At the same time, they must know that their efforts are as futile as covering up the sky with your hand. Of course, I don't need to explain this to you. The gods created us in their own imperfect image.
Perfect beings' only creations are contrivances. As the perfect circle has no edge... perfect hatred only produces monsters.

Her anger towards Gran Kain and Einhasad for a time turned Shilen into a pure and perfect being. That is, she became the literal incarnation of destruction.
As she achieved the purest form of fury, her benevolence and austerity left her completely. Her perfect wrath is the source of those evil creatures.
They are sealed away now, and I don't know what their current condition is, but their very existence proves that she has become a goddess of destruction!
We worshippers of Shilen teach our children that she is our mother, therefore we must calm her wrath.

There are evil creatures close to her. These are the illegitimate children she bore while her fury was at its fiercest... Go slay Falibati and Trives who bear a striking resemblence to her. Bring back their Snake Scales.
If you bring me 108 Snake Scales, I will teach you a secret, ancient method of creation.
To restore the dignity and glory of the goddess you must kill Falibati and Trives, the illegitimate children born of her wrath, and bring back 108 Snake Scales.
