  3. Obelisk of Victory. Talk to Sir Collin Windawood. Hand over: Baulro's Letter.

He, in his turn, sends you on to Sir Collin Windawood, who stands next to the Obelisk of Victory. There is a teleport to the Obelisk of Victory, but I do not think you will want to spend adena, it is easier to run. On some servers there are no mobs near the obelisk, on some there stand werewolves of level 9; in any case you will get through.

I'm very fortunate to have a job that allows me to travel across the continent.

How many others can say they've seen the grandeur of Aden Castle or visited Giran's bustling markets or watched the sun set over the waters of Heine?

Despite my love of travel, though, I was happy to return home here to Talking Island...at least for now. I must admit that I do miss the night life in Giran!

  • "I want to go to Giran!"

I'm very fortunate to have a job that allows me to travel across the continent.

How many others can say they've seen the grandeur of Aden Castle or visited Giran's bustling markets or watched the sun set over the waters of Heine?

Perhaps one day you will be able to see these things for yourself!

(Only Humans who are level 3 or above may undertake this quest.)

Oh, I hope I didn't give you the wrong impression! Traveling to Giran from here is very, very expensive! I doubt you could afford it...

But perhaps there is another way.

Speak with Magister Baulro at the Temple of Einhasad. He's always happy to meet students from Talking Island; if you're very polite, perhaps he will even help you reach Giran!

Go to the Temple of Einhasad and speak with Magister Baulro. Perhaps he will help you!

Ah, it's you again! Did you speak with Magister Baulro?

  • "Magister Baulro persuaded Sir Colin Windawood pay for my journey!"

How wonderful for you! Both Baulro and Sir Colin are such helpful people that I'm not surprised.

Here is a special Scroll of Escape capable of opening a Dimensional Door to Giran. Pay close attention: it can only be used once! Use it like any other Scroll of Escape. Here as well is the Mark of the Traveler that Sir Colin asked be prepared for you. When you are ready to return to Talking Island, show it to Trader Galladucci at the luxury store in Giran and he will help you. I should warn you that he's a little peculiar, but he knows his business inside and out.

May your journey be filled with adventure and excitement!

Hard to find someone who's always on the move, huh? What brings you here?

  • "Baulro told me to pay you a visit and give you this."

Want to go to Giran, huh? Baulro sent you? I told him the story a while back.

You may be fresh out of school, but worldly experiences will help shape your future.

Giran is a busy place and unexpected things can happen, so stay calm and focused!

Meet Gatekeeper Roxxy and tell her I sent you. Good luck!

So where is Baulro's letter? Did you miss something?

Hurry up and bring me the letter!

Go to Gatekeeper Roxxy and tell her I sent you. She'll help you. Giran is more hectic than you're used to, so be careful. Good luck!

You seem anxious, my child. I don't think you're here to learn magic... What's the matter? How can I help?

  • "I want to visit Giran in order to increase my knowledge, but I can't afford the journey."

Hmmm... I see. It is certainly expensive to travel to the mainland, especially to a place as far away as Giran.

But I think it would be an invaluable experience for you. When I was about your age, I had the opportunity to spend some time abroad, and it did me a world of good. I have an idea! Sir Colin Windawood is looking for young people with ambition and potential -- I think you would be ideal.

Take this letter to Sir Colin and tell him you are there at my recommendation. I'm sure he will cover your travel expenses.

Sir Colin loves to explore the ancient ruins of our island, so don't expect to find him in his office. I've heard that he's been spending a great deal of time at the Obelisk of Victory, so check there first. Good luck!

Take the letter of recommendation I gave you to Sir Colin Windawood at the Obelisk of Victory.
