Saga of the Arcana Lord

Saga of the Arcana Lord is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 76+. It starts with Kinsley in Ivory Tower.

To refine his summoning technique to its highest level, that of Arcana Lord, a Warlock must absorb the knowledge from the six Tablets of Vision!

The quest for the third profession, Saga of the Arcana Lord (Succession to the Legend Arcana Lord): Warlock becomes Arcana Lord.

Allies and the first amulet

  1. Ivory Tower. Find Head Summoner Kinsley on the Human floor of the tower and take the quest.

    The quest Saga of the Arcana Lord (Succession to the Legend Arcana Lord), the third profession for the warlock, is taken on reaching level 76 in the Ivory Tower from Head Summoner Kinsley (stands on the second floor in the corner, that is where the humans are).

  2. Town of Goddard. Find Keats Servitor Sparky the Cat in the Mages Guild.

    I summoned the battle cat at this spot and did not dismiss it until the very end of the quest. From Kinsley we go to the temple of Goddard and turn right there, into the wizards guild; there stands the cat Keats Servitor - Sparky the Cat, who has to be helped in the search for his master.

  3. Hot Springs (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Cursed Summoner Keats.

    In short, everything as usual: we go to the Hot Springs to the frog Cursed Summoner Keats on the central glade. And naturally we will bring her the Ice Crystal. I hope that by this moment you have already done the quest The Finest Ingredients and the crystal is in your quest inventory. If yes, we talk to the frog again; if not, we go and earn the crystal.

  4. Talk to Cursed Summoner Keats again. You receive: Summoner Keats' Letter.

  5. Town of Goddard. Return to Keats Servitor Sparky the Cat in the Mages Guild. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 1.

    In the end we exchange the Ice Crystal for some rubbish and return to the kitten in Goddard. He gives the first resonance amulet, which has to be carried to the first tablet.

First three tablets

  1. Plains of Glory. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    The first tablet is the same for all classes, and it stands between Oren and Aden, not far from the Tower of Insolence. So we teleport to the Tower of Insolence and, without entering the tower, run towards the tablet (I usually leave a cat by this tablet so as not to run far).

  2. Monastery of Silence (teleport from Town of Goddard). Hunt Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge (lv. 76) until you have: Resonance Amulet - 2.

    We activate the tablet and learn that the second resonance amulet and the second tablet are in the Valley of Saints, and the amulet itself has to be knocked out of the angels that circle round the tablet in great numbers. The amulet drops from the last angel (that is the rule on PTS servers; on Java ones it drops from the 4th mob). You may be in a party while doing it, and you may be healed. In general all the professions are sent to the Valley of Saints, but there are several tablets and groups of angels there; which of them you need is shown on the map. The angels stand below, in deep pits. For the cat summoner the second tablet stands at the very end of the location; it is quicker to run to it from Schuttgart, from the Frozen Labyrinth. We beat all the mobs Guardian of Forbidden Knowledge; the resonance amulet drops from the last one.

  3. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    We talk to the second tablet, and it tells us that at the third tablet a monster awaits you; by defeating it you get the next amulet. The third tablet of the cat summoners is next to the Border Outpost: we teleport to the location Ancient Battleground and run through the Border Outpost to the mark on the map.

  4. Varka Silenos Barracks (teleport from Town of Goddard). Talk to Tablet of Vision.

  5. Kill Vision Guardian Shakiel (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 3.

    A quest mob climbs out of the third tablet, and it has to be beaten. When you took the profession quest, a little book dropped into your inventory; if you click on it, it opens, and in it is written how to defeat this mob. The mob is called Vision Guardian Shakiel; it is surrounded by some aura that reflects all damage back at the attacker. Like a fool I flew straight up to the tablet, called the mob out and started pecking at it, and duly fell from that reflect. It also says there that this aura now appears, now disappears, but I saw nothing visually: I simply called the mob out once more and beat it down with the cat. Maybe that is how it should be done, all the more so because the book says that you cannot do without the help of the cat.

  6. Return to Tablet of Vision.

    The next amulet drops from the mob, we activate the tablet and return to Goddard, only not to the kitten but to Summoner Belinda, who stands opposite him.

Divine Stone and the fourth tablet

  1. Town of Goddard. Find Summoner Belinda in the Mages Guild.

    She needs the Divine Stone of Wisdom. If you did the quests in Varka or Ketra beforehand, the little stone is already with you; if not, you will have to go and do them: first get the second level of the alliance with Ketra or Varka (Alliance with Ketra Orcs or Alliance with Varka Silenos), and then, depending on whether you chose the alliance with the orcs or with the goats, the quest for the Divine Stone of Wisdom: Magical Power of Fire or Magical Power of Water. In short, in the end you must have the Divine Stone of Wisdom in your inventory (the ordinary one). Belinda asks where you will go to get the little stone, to Ketra or to Varka; you can choose any answer, it decides nothing: the main thing is that you do the quests and bring the stone, and where exactly from makes no difference to her.

  2. Talk to Summoner Belinda again. You receive: Resonance Amulet - 4.

    In any case, having got the stone, we give it to Belinda, and in return she gives the fourth amulet. So we have to run to the fourth tablet. It is one for all classes and is next to Ketra; there are no mobs on the way, so we teleport to Ketra and run along the road to the left, if you stand facing the location.

  3. Garden of Beasts. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

Halisha's minions and the last tablets

  1. Town of Goddard. Return to Summoner Belinda in the Mages Guild.

    After the dialogue with the fourth tablet we go to Summoner Belinda once again; the next task is to beat 700 mobs in the location Shrine of Loyalty, and out of the 701st a quest mob jumps and gives up the amulet. Well, if we do not want to beat so many mobs, she agrees to an alternative, for which the Four Sepulchers have to be passed. Which way you choose depends only on you; I usually beat the mobs.

  2. Shrine of Loyalty. Hunt Grave Scarab (lv. 73), Scavenger Scarab (lv. 73), Grave Ant (lv. 74), Scavenger Ant (lv. 74), Shrine Knight (lv. 75), Shrine Guard (lv. 75) until you have: Halisha's Mark ×700.

    We set off for the Shrine of Loyalty and collect 700 items Halisha's Mark; out of the 701st the Archon of Halisha climbs. The mob is sluggish and drops the next amulet; the cat was not even needed, I beat the mob down with the Arcana Mace.

  3. Kill Archon of Halisha (lv. 76) to get: Resonance Amulet - 5.

  4. Borderland Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    Having got the amulet, we set out for the fifth tablet. It is right here, in the Wall of Argos, only it is handier to reach it by returning to Goddard and teleporting to the entrance of the location again. From the teleport point we turn left, run past two glades with deer and run onto a big glade on the left (also with deer). At the far end stands the fifth tablet.

  5. Bayou Fortress. Talk to Tablet of Vision.

    The fifth tablet tells you that it remains to get the last, sixth resonance amulet, which is next to the last tablet in the location Forsaken Plains. We talk to the tablet, and nearby appear the NPC Keats Servitor - Sparky the Cat and the quest mob Kitanis Van Hacken. We beat the quest mob, and it vanishes, shouting something about swift revenge on you for meddling in what is not your business.

  6. Talk to Tablet of Vision again.

  7. Ivory Tower. Return to Head Summoner Kinsley on the Human floor of the tower to complete the quest.

    We talk to Sparky the Cat, and he hands over the last amulet. We activate the tablet and return to Ivory Tower to Head Summoner Kinsley. We get the profession Arcana Lord, some adena (from 5kk to 50kk, depending on the rates) and the book Secret Book of Giants.

  1. Meet with the Servitor

    Summoner Keats disappeared while trying to become an Arcana Lord. Sparky the Cat, Keats' servitor, is supposedly in the Town of Goddard. Meet him and ask him where Keats is.

    In order to obtain the fourth Resonance Amulet, you must first obtain the Divine Stone of Wisdom which is currently possessed by the Ketra Orcs' Chief Shaman. First, meet with their messenger and form an alliance. Once you earn the trust of Ketra Orcs, you'll be able to obtain their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

    In order to obtain the fourth Resonance Amulet, you must first obtain the Divine Stone of Wisdom which is currently possessed by the Varka Silenos' Chief Shaman. Once you earn the trust of the Varka Silenos, they'll give you their Divine Stone of Wisdom.

    You've obtained the Resonance Amulet! Now, go to the fourth Tablet of Vision and attempt to commune with it.

    It seems like Summoner Belinda has the fifth Resonance Amulet. Go meet with her.

    The fifth Resonance Amulet is currently owned by the Archon of Halisha. In order to find that evil creature, you must either enter the Four Sepulchers in the deepest part of the Imperial Tomb or go to the Shrine of Loyalty in the northeastern part of the Wall of Argos and start killing his minions there. Either way, you must kill the Archon of Halisha and obtain the Resonance Amulet.

The gods put these tablets in very out-of-the-way places, and stationed formidable beasts nearby to guard them.

If you can learn the secrets of the six tablets, you will pass the test to become an Arcana Lord. Two people left to take this test before you, but Belinda sent me a letter saying that she wanted to give up, and I haven't heard from Keats for some time. First, you must speak with Messenger Wahkan of the Ketra Orcs. They're hiring mercenaries, and this is a great opportunity to earn their trust!

Soul Guide Asefa, the Chief Shaman of the Ketra Orcs, has something they call the Divine Stone of Wisdom.

We must get it from them! If things don't go well with Asefa, try the Varka Silenos tribe. They have one too.

First, you must speak with Messenger Naran Ashanuk of the Varka Silenos tribe. They've been hiring mercenaries, and this is a great opportunity to earn their trust!

Soul Guide Udan Mardui, the Chief Shaman of the Varka Silenos, has something they call the Divine Stone of Wisdom. You must get it from them!

If things don't go well with the Varka, you should try the Ketra Orc tribe. They also have one of the stones. Good luck!

To complete the fourth Resonance Amulet, you must get the Divine Stone of Wisdom from the Ketra Orcs or the Varka Silenos. You'll need to gain their trust, and it won't be easy! Good luck!

Those idiotic barbarians worship the stone fragment, and call it their Divine Stone of Wisdom! It's actually a part of the Resonance Amulet we need! If we can get it, I 'll join it with this other fragment I have to form the Resonance Amulet!

Take the Resonance Amulet to the fourth Tablet of Vision. The stone should guide you there. If not, just check out the Map!

The power that you felt comes from this small stone. It's the part of the fourth Resonance Amulet. However, you must find the other fragments and put all of the fragments together to properly operate the Resonance Amulet.

The other fragments of the Resonance Amulet are worshiped by the barbarians of this area as the 'Divine Stone of Wisdom'. As far as I know, Ketra Orcs and Varka Silenos have them. You must gain their trust first and attain the stone by some means or other. But, both tribes are notorious for being rough and belligerent. I don't know which tribe you should approach...

The two fragments fit together perfectly! Very well, here is the Resonance Amulet! Take it to the fourth Tablet of Vision.

I've been waiting for you. While you were away I did some research! I've located the fifth Resonance Amulet, but unfortunately, it's already lost its power. You must've felt this Resonance Amulet. Didn't it feel weaker than before?

Fortunately, there are two more Resonance Amulets like that one. One is in the Imperial Tomb and the other is at the Wall of Argos. If you go to the Imperial Tomb, look in the Four Sepulchers near the center. If you go to the Wall of Argos, enter the Shrine of Loyalty at the northeastern end of the wall. And...

  • "And...?"

To get the fifth Resonance Amulet, you must slay the Archon of Halisha. Find that devil in the Imperial Tomb or at the Wall of Argos.

If you go to the Imperial Tomb, you'll find him in the Four Sepulchers. At the Shrine of Loyalty, the Archon will appear after you destroy many of his minions. His death is essential if you are to get the Resonance Amulet. Good luck!

Wherever you find him, you must kill the Archon of Halisha if you are to get the fifth Resonance Amulet.

At the Imperial Tomb, you'll find him in the Four Sepulchers. At the Shrine of Loyalty, he'll appear after you destroy many of his minions.

Ancient, indecipherable hieroglyphs are engraved upon the tablet. They emit a mysterious, dim light. There is something magical and powerful in the tablet.

  • Commune with the Tablet of Vision.

When you hold the Resonance Amulet in your hands and concentrate, the Tablet of Vision is slowly surrounded by bright light. Hundreds of voices begin pounding in your head... they seem to be reading some form of scripture, a scripture that reveals a great and horrible truth. Ah, the fundamental truth of all things is revealed! But wait, I can't understand any of it! Amid the voices, you recognize a whisper of a woman that you think you've heard before, but it fades quickly.

You begin to understand where the next Resonance Amulet is... a temple in the Town of Goddard... an Elf lady with a petite body... she must be Summoner Belinda that Keats told you about. You feel the power of the Resonance Amulet from her.

The images fade and the light turns to darkness..

Putting your hands on the tablet, the location of the Resonance Amulet again becomes clear. Get the next Resonance Amulet from Summoner Belinda in the Town of Goddard.

You can feel the presence of the Resonance Amulet near the tablet. You feel you can find out its exact location if you lay your hands on the tablet.

As you are about to lay your hands on the tablet, you can feel something behind you. And a new creature that you haven't seen before appears...

You need the Resonance Amulet to decipher the hieroglyphs on the tablet. Speak with Sparky the Cat about the Resonance Amulet.

The tablet is inscribed with indecipherable hieroglyphs. The letters emit a dim light and the tablet seems to manifest strong magical powers.

  • Use the Resonance Amulet.

As you hold the Resonance Amulet and concentrate on it, the tablet gets surrounded by bright light. You hear several hundred people simultaneously reading scriptures, and new knowledge starts to enter your mind. On one hand, you feel like you understand everything. On the other hand, you feel that you don't understand anything.

You hear someone's low-pitched laughter. And you hear a man's voice.

"You now have one more successor that you like."

A blonde woman replies.

"No, he's like a baby who just started walking. But he will no longer need his mother's protection..."

All images disappear, and you start to recognize the surrounding environment. You are starting to understand the knowledge you have gained from the tablet little by little. The pilgrimage of the tablet seems to have ended. Return to Ivory Tower and see Head Summoner Kinsley.

Nothing happens any more even when you lay your hands on the tablet. Now that you have finished your pilgrimage of the tablet, return to Ivory Tower and see Head Summoner Kinsley.
