Test of the Summoner
Test of the Summoner is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Interlude for characters of level 39+. It starts with Galatea in Gludin Village.
Summoning magic requires the user to make contact with a high-level and intelligent spirit it. Once contact is made, the user must then control the spirit. The Testimonies of Summoning is a competition between users of such magic.
Test of the Summoner walkthrough
The third mark for the summoners: Warlock, Elemental Summoner and Phantom Summoner, open from level 39. It is a tournament: Trader Lara makes Beginner's Arcana cards out of hunting trophies, and each card is one challenge to one of six summoners hidden across the continent. Beat the creature of every summoner to collect six different arcana.
Arcana cards from Lara
Gludin Village. Find High Summoner Galatea in the magic shop and take the quest. You receive: Galatea's Letter.
Town of Dion. Find Trader Lara in the grocery store.
Lara gives one of five lists. Each list asks for 30 pieces of two trophies and pays with two Beginner's Arcana. Six duels need six cards, so you finish at least three lists; a lost duel costs a card too.
Lara's 1st List: Sac of Redspores from Giant Fungus and Leto Lizardman Amulet from Leto Lizardman Warrior, Leto Lizardman Shaman, Leto Lizardman Overlord.
Lara's 2nd List: Karul Bugbear Totem from Karul Bugbear and Shards of Manashen from Manashen Gargoyle.
Lara's 3rd List: Crimson Bloodstone from Fettered Soul and Breka Orc Totem from Breka Orc, Breka Orc Archer, Breka Orc Warrior, Breka Orc Shaman, Breka Orc Overlord.
Lara's 4th List: Tusk of Windsus from Windsus and Talons of Tyrant from Tyrant, Tyrant Kingpin.
Lara's 5th List: Wings of Droneant from Noble Ant, Noble Ant Leader and Fangs of Wyrm from Wyrm.
Talk to Trader Lara again. You receive: Beginner's Arcana ×2.
Six duels
Elven Ruins. Talk to Summoner Almors.
West of the Elven Ruins on Talking Island. His creature is Pako The Cat; the prize is Almors's Arcana.
Bee Hive (teleport from Town of Dion). Talk to Summoner Camoniell.
A lonely house at the Bee Hive. Her creature is Unicorn Racer; the prize is Camoniell's Arcana.
Cruma Tower (teleport from Town of Dion). Talk to Summoner Belthus.
The marshes around Cruma Tower. His creature is Shadow Turen; the prize is Belthus's Arcana.
Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Talk to Summoner Basilla.
Near the southern entrance of the Wastelands. Her creature is Mimi The Cat; the prize is Basillia's Arcana.
Elven Fortress (teleport from Elven Village). Talk to Summoner Celestiel.
By the Mother Tree south of the Elven Fortress in the Elven Forest. Her creature is Unicorn Phantasm; the prize is Celestiel's Arcana.
Gorgon Flower Garden. Talk to Summoner Brynthea.
In the Gorgon Flower Garden. Her creature is Silhouette Tilfo; the prize is Brynthea's Arcana.
Gludin Village. Return to High Summoner Galatea in the magic shop to complete the quest. You receive: Mark of Summoner.
Tips
- A duel is fought against the summoned creature, never against the summoner. Talk to the summoner again after the creature dies to receive the arcana.

A Battle of Summoners
You can challenge any Summoner, anytime, anywhere, with arcana cards.
Summoners must only fight against other Summoners and should never be confronted directly.
One arcana card is consumed with each encounter.

Pass the Test of the Summoner
You have collected six types of Arcana cards from six Summoners. Take them to Head Summoner Galatea to receive a mark of her approval.
