Test of the Lord
Test of the Lord is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Interlude for characters of level 39+. It starts with Kakai in Orc Village.
Overlords are born, not made. to become an Overlord who also holds the position of Chief, the candidate must pass the Test of the Lord. The test to determine if you are worthy to become an Overlord has begun!
Walkthrough
The third mark for Overlord, open from level 39. Flame Lord Kakai wants the totems of five tribes. Each chief gives a charm and a task of his own, and all five can be carried at once, so this is one long round through the Orc Village, Dion, Giran and Oren. The last test waits in the Cave of Trials.
Start the quest with Kakai (Orc Village). You receive: Ordeal Necklace.
Atuba: Huge Orc Fang
Talk to Varkees (Orc Village). You receive: Varkee's Charm.
Talk to Manakia (Giran Castle Town). You receive: Manakia's Orders.
Hunt Breka Orc Shaman (lv. 34), Breka Orc Overlord (lv. 35) until you have: Breka Orc Fang ×20. Where: Breka's Stronghold.
Return to Manakia (Giran Castle Town). You receive: Manakia's Amulet.
Return to Varkees (Orc Village). You receive: Huge Orc Fang.
Neruga: Axe of Ceremony
Talk to Tantus (Orc Village). You receive: Tantus's Charm.
Talk to Jakal (Orc Village). You receive: Neruga Axe Blade.
Return to Tantus (Orc Village). You receive: Axe of Ceremony.
Besides the blade Tantus asks for Bone Arrow ×1000; the arrows are sold in the grocery of the village.
Urutu: Sword Into Skull
Talk to Hatos (Orc Village). You receive: Hatos's Charm.
Talk to Sumari (Orc Village). You receive: Sumari's Letter.
Talk to Somak (Town of Dion). You receive: Urutu Blade.
Hunt Timak Orc (lv. 40), Timak Orc Archer (lv. 41), Timak Orc Soldier (lv. 42), Timak Orc Warrior (lv. 43), Timak Orc Shaman (lv. 44), Timak Orc Overlord (lv. 45) until you have: Timak Orc Skull ×10. Where: Catacomb of the Apostate, Timak Outpost, Starlight Waterfall.
Return to Hatos (Orc Village). You receive: Sword Into Skull.
Gandi: Monster Eye Woodcarving
Talk to Chianta (Town of Dion). You receive: Chianta's Charm.
Hunt Enchanted Monstereye (lv. 41) until you have: Cornea of Enchanted Monster Eye ×20. Where: Ivory Tower.
Return to Chianta (Town of Dion). You receive: Monster Eye Woodcarving.
Duda-Mara: Handiwork Spider Brooch
Talk to Takuna (Town of Oren). You receive: Takuna's Charm.
Hunt Marsh Spider (lv. 34) until you have: Marsh Spider Feeler ×10, Marsh Spider Feet ×10. Where: Cruma Tower.
Return to Takuna (Town of Oren). You receive: Handiwork Spider Brooch.
The test of Martankus
Return to Kakai (Orc Village). You receive: Bear Fang Necklace.
Talk to Ancestor Martankus (Cave of Trials). You receive: Martankus's Charm.
Hunt Ragna Orc Overlord (lv. 39), Ragna Orc Seer (lv. 39) until you have: Ragna Orc Head, Ragna Chief Notice. Where: Immortal Plateau, Southern Region.
Return to Ancestor Martankus (Cave of Trials). You receive: Immortal Flame.
Talk to First Orc.
The First Orc appears beside Martankus and speaks to you in person.
Return to Kakai (Orc Village) to complete the quest. You receive: Mark of Lord.
Tips
- Take all five charms first, then plan the hunts by town: Breka orcs near Giran, the marsh spiders of Cruma near Dion, Timak orcs and the monster eyes of the Ivory Tower near Oren.
- Ancestor Martankus sits deep in the Cave of Trials: jump into the water from the bridge and go through several chambers.
Quest journal
Totems of the Five Tribes
Flame Lord Kakai says that you must meet the chiefs of all five tribes, except Hestui, and bring back their totems. The Atuba Chief, the Neruga Chief and the Urutu Chief can be found in the Royal Hall; the Duda-Mara Chief is in the Town of Oren and the Gandi Chief is in the Town of Dion.

You've received the five totems from the five chiefs. Return to Flame Lord Kakai.

Searching for an Ancestor
Flame Lord Kakai orders you to go to Ancestor Martankus in the Cave of Trials. Pass his final test and then return.

Kill the Ragna Orcs
Ancestor Martankus says that you must kill Ragna Orcs and bring their heads as proof.

You've brought the heads of the Ragna Orcs and found treasonous documents in their bodies. Take them to Ancestor Martankus.

You've done all that Ancestor Martankus asked of you. The very first Orc is coming to congratulate you personally! Will you meet with him?
Return to Kakai
The first Orc tells you an ancient secret and encourages you to become a Lord of the tribe in the future. Return to Flame Lord Kakai.
