Mimir's Elixir

Mimir's Elixir is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 Interlude for characters of level 75+. It starts with Ladd in Ivory Tower.

The star of destiny changes the fate of anyone who holds it! What is the secret of the ancient giants?

Walkthrough

The second subclass quest, started with the Star of Destiny from Fate's Whisper. Magister Ladd teaches you to brew Mimir's Elixir from three reagents: pure silver made by alchemy, true gold from a colleague and blood fire from the lair of Antharas. Drinking nothing is required: handing the elixir to Ladd unlocks the subclass.

Pure Silver

  1. Start the quest with Ladd (Ivory Tower).

  2. Talk to Wesley (Ivory Tower). You receive: Wesley's Mixing Stone.

  3. Pure silver is mixed in the Alchemist's Mixing Urn in the basement of the Ivory Tower. Ten Moonstone Shard with Volcanic Ash give one Moon Dust; ten Moon Dust with Quicksilver give Lunargent; Lunargent with Quicksilver once more gives Pure Silver. Wesley explains the mixing as part of his quest Supplier of Reagents.

  4. Hunt Hames Orc Shaman (lv. 74) until you have: Moonstone Shard ×100. Where: Eastern Border Outpost.

    A hundred shards cover the ten portions of moon dust.

  5. Return to Ladd (Ivory Tower).

True Gold

  1. Talk to Joan (Ivory Tower).

  2. Hunt Chimera Piece (lv. 72) until you have: Sage's Stone. Where: Silent Valley.

  3. Return to Joan (Ivory Tower). You receive: True Gold.

  4. Return to Ladd (Ivory Tower).

Blood Fire and the elixir

  1. Hunt Bloody Guardian (lv. 75) until you have: Blood Fire. Where: Antharas' Lair.

  2. Talk to Alchemist's Mixing Urn (Ivory Tower). You receive: Mimir's Elixir.

    Mix Pure Silver, True Gold and Blood Fire in the urn.

  3. Return to Ladd (Ivory Tower) to complete the quest.

Tips

  • Lunargent can be traded, so the alchemy part can be shortened by buying it from another player.
  • Bloody Guardian lives deep in the lair of Antharas among level 75 monsters; go with a party.

  1. Pure Silver, Silvery Light of Purity

    Magister Ladd tells you how to create Mimir's elixir. Magic Trader Wesley under the Ivory Tower will teach you the basic technique of mixing reagents. Magister Ladd tells you that the formula for pure silver is equal parts Lunargent and Quicksilver.

    The second ingredient you'll need to make Mimir's elixir is true gold. Magister Ladd tells you that long ago, he gave his colleague, Joan of the Ivory Tower, some true gold. He suggests that you to go see her.

    Magister Joan tells you that in order to make true gold you will need the sage's stone. She asks you to go to the Silent Valley and find it for her. According to her, one of the chimera pieces is carrying it...

    You have obtained the sage's stone! Return to Magister Joan of the Ivory Tower in Oren.

    Magister Joan made true gold for you. Now, return to Magister Ladd.

  6. Blood Fire, the Flames of Purgatory

    Blood fire is hot enough to meld true gold and pure silver. Slay the bloody guardian in Antharas' Lair and obtain blood fire. Use the mixing urn in the basement of the Ivory Tower to create Mimir's elixir.

    You have obtained blood fire! It is said that if you mix it with pure silver and true gold, Mimir's elixir will be created... Use the mixing urn located in the basement of the Ivory Tower.
