Fate's Whisper

Fate's Whisper is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 75+. It starts with Reorin in Town of Oren.

Many travelers looking for new hope follow the whispers of the lady of the wind. Keep heart! You shall soon acquire the flame of purgatory!

Walkthrough

The first of the two quests that open a subclass, available at level 75. Maestro Reorin wants his masterpieces back from four raid bosses, then his tools, and finally a top B-grade weapon to forge. It is a clan-sized job: three of the bosses live in the Tower of Insolence, and the last errand needs the blood of Baium.

Four raid bosses

  1. Start the quest with Reorin (Town of Oren).

  2. Kill Shilen's Messenger Cabrio (lv. 70) (The Forbidden Gateway) to get: Reiria's Soul Orb.

The orb is taken from the Coffer of the Dead that appears when Cabrio dies. The coffer can be opened by anyone with the quest, so it is enough to be there when the boss falls.

  3. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren).

  4. Kill Death Lord Hallate (lv. 73) (Tower of Insolence) to get: Hallate's Infernium Scepter.

  5. Kill Kernon (lv. 75) (Tower of Insolence) to get: Kernon's Infernium Scepter.

  6. Kill Longhorn Golkonda (lv. 79) (Tower of Insolence) to get: Golkonda's Infernium Scepter.

Each boss leaves a chest of its own: Hallate's Chest, Chest of Kernon and Chest of Golkonda. Take the scepter from the chest, not from the body.

  7. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren).

Tools of the maestro

  1. Talk to Cliff (Town of Oren). You receive: Infernium Varnish.

  2. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren).

  3. Talk to Ferris (Town of Aden). You receive: Maestro Reorin's Hammer.

  4. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren).

  5. Talk to Zenkin (Town of Oren).

  6. Talk to Kaspar (Hardin's Academy). You receive: Pipette Knife.

  7. Kaspar wants a sample of Baium's blood. Enter Baium's room at the top of the Tower of Insolence (the quest An Arrogant Search gives the pass) and hit Baium at least once with Pipette Knife equipped: it turns into Red Pipette Knife. The boss does not have to be killed.

  8. Return to Kaspar (Hardin's Academy). You receive: Maestro Reorin's Mold.

The new weapon

  1. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren).

He asks for Crystal (B-Grade) ×984.

  2. Return to Reorin (Town of Oren) to complete the quest. You receive: Star of Destiny.

For the last step bring one of the top B-grade weapons from his list. Reorin melts it down and returns a top A-grade weapon of the same kind together with the star.

Tips

  • The raid bosses have long respawn times and are hunted by many clans. Ask in clan or alliance chat when they are planned: you only need to be in the room at the kill.
  • High Five adds a way around Baium: Kaspar also accepts 30 pieces of cloth stained with the blood of the angels and Platinum Tribe monsters of the Tower of Insolence.
