Slay the Enemy Commander!

Slay the Enemy Commander! is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 75–80. It starts with Ashas Varka Durai in Varka Silenos Village.

Ashas Varka Durai, the hierarch of Varka Silenos, is looking for a fighter who will defeat Ketra's commander Tayr.

Slay the Enemy Commander! walkthrough

The quest Slay the Enemy Commander, for getting the fifth alliance level. The quest is the same both for those who farm the alliance in Varka and for those who beat it in Ketra; only the start NPCs who give the tasks and the raid bosses to be beaten differ. This is the quest of the allies of Varka, who farm their badges in Ketra; for the allies of Ketra it is Slay the Enemy Commander!.

  1. Varka Silenos Village. Take the quest from Hierarch Ashas Varka Durai.

For those who farm the alliance in Ketra, the quest is taken from Hierarch Ashas Varka Durai, who is in the Varka village; that is the NPC from whom the quests Battle against Ketra Orcs and Prove Your Courage! are taken. How to get into the Varka village bypassing the mobs I wrote in the quest Magical Power of Water - Part 1.

  2. Ketra Orc Village. Kill Ketra's Commander Tayr (lv. 80) to get: Head of Tayr.

He sends you to farm the raid boss Ketra's Commander Tayr; how to find this RB, see the description of the boss. You need not beat the RB yourself, you only have to be in a party with those who farm it. So we wait for the respawn, ask to be taken into the party and sit quietly aside until it is brought down. When that is over, the item Head of Tayr drops into the quest inventory.

  3. Varka Silenos Village. Return to Hierarch Ashas Varka Durai. Hand over: Head of Tayr. You receive: Feather of Wisdom.

We hand the skull to the start NPC and get in exchange the quest item Feather of Wisdom for the 5th alliance level (Alliance with Varka Silenos).

  4. On some Java servers there may be a bug when the item does not drop from the RB though you are in a party with those who farmed it. It is cured only by turning to the admin of the server; farming the RB again will give nothing.

Tips

  • Take the quest before the fight: the head is given only to characters who have it in the journal.

The time has come for the Varka to strike back! If we are to prevail, we must first slay the commander of Ketra Orcs! Who will step forward to kill this beast?

  • I'll do it!

The time has not yet come. If we are to achieve victory, we must have patience. A superior strategist waits patiently for just the right moment... and when that moment comes... he strikes!

(Only characters who possess the mark of Varka's friend - 4th level can undertake this quest.)

You're not quite ready. Go improve your skills!

(This quest may only be undertaken by characters of level 75 or above.)

Are you ready? You've already defeated Hekaton, hero of the Ketra, you should be able to defeat Tayre as well!

Tayre is the commander of Ketra forces. He's a typical savage, little more than a beast! He has cruelly massacred hundreds of Varka soldiers! He must be stopped! Kill Tayre, cut off his head and bring it to me!

Bear this in mind! Commander Tayre is every bit as powerful as Hekaton! You're strong but you can't fight him alone! Take some friends with you!

Dear friend of Varka, have you brought the Head of Tayre, the commander of the Ketras?

  • "Here's Tayre's head."

I await the news of your victory! You are very brave! Kill Tayre, the commander of the Ketra forces and bring back his head!

Is this the Head of Tayre? Ugly bastard, wasn't he? I'm very proud of you! Take this Feather of Wisdom in recognition your outstanding military achievements. This is the Feather of Wisdom. It's the custom of the Varka to give this to the our most respected friends! Congratulations!
