Proof of Clan Alliance

Proof of Clan Alliance is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 Scryde. It starts with Sir Kristof Rodemai in Town of Giran.

The winds of destiny have brought you to this place! The chaotic chronicle must cease! When we accomplish this, our clan will be stronger than ever! Arise!

Proof of Clan Alliance walkthrough

The quest for clan level 4, Proof of Clan Alliance. The quest is hard only by its description: today I once again did it alone, in four windows, and it all took 50 minutes. At the end of the quest we are given the item for moving the clan to level 4; it is called Alliance Manifesto (in C4 it was called Proof of Alliance).

  1. Town of Giran. Find Sir Kristof Rodemai in the Warriors Guild and take the quest.

The quest Proof of Clan Alliance is taken by the leader of a level 3 clan in the warriors' guild in Giran from Sir Kristof Rodemai (he stands at the entrance to the building). The NPC claims that he can help us win glory in the world of Aden, but he will not do it for just anybody, so it is a trial again, and if we are real heroes, we get the item at the end. In short, "blah-blah-blah", and off you go to the witch: if you pass her trial, you get the goodie; if not, you are not worthy.

  2. Forest of Evil. Talk to Witch Kalis.

We set off to Witch Kalis near Oren. To find Kalis, we go to the Ivory Tower, cross the southern bridge and turn left; along the edge of the Ivory pit we run to a hill with a big statue, in whose hands a beautiful shiny thing rotates that reminded me of the mirror balls in discos. Now the bare facts of the walkthrough: at least four characters are needed, the clan leader and three members. Today I did the quest with this line-up: myself (a dwarf girl, the clan leader), a Bishop, a Shillien Elder and a Spellhowler. The Bishop is needed to heal the clan leader (it can be replaced with a Prophet or an Elven Elder; a Prophet is even handier, to buff acumen and berserker on the mage), the Shillien Elder to buff the mage, and the Spellhowler herself to knock out the quest items.

  3. Talk to Statue Of Offering.

The clan leader comes up to the witch and takes the task; after that the three members in turn poke the statue and swear loyalty to the clan. There is a 50% chance here that the members die during this procedure; nothing terrible, we resurrect everybody in turn. After the oath all three clan members have Symbol of Loyalty in the ordinary inventory. We hand all the marks to the clan leader, buff the mage and send her to the starting position, that is, to the first mob we will knock an item out of.

  4. Return to Witch Kalis. Hand over: Symbol of Loyalty ×3.

Meanwhile with the clan leader we turn to Kalis again; she takes the three marks and gives a phial of poison that has to be drunk. Nothing to be done, we drink. A debuff (poison) hangs on the leader, taking HP away; from time to time we heal the clan leader with the Bishop.

  5. Aden Castle. Hunt Vanor Silenos Shaman (lv. 49) until you have: Herb of Vanor.

As I did the quest alone in several windows, I did everything with one character; if many people in your clan want to take part, you can send characters to all the mobs at once. For my solo pass I worked out the optimal route. The buffed mage teleports from Aden to the Tower of Insolence; standing with our back to the entrance of the tower, we run right (without going inside) to a path, climb up and run along it to the glade called Plains of Glory; here we turn left, towards Aden castle, and in a dozen steps there are the mobs we want, Vanor Silenos Shaman. With the mage we beat the mobs until we get the quest item (all the items go into the ordinary inventory).

  6. Anghel Waterfall. Hunt Harit Lizardman Shaman (lv. 54) until you have: Herb of Harit.

After that we drive the mage to the Forest of Mirrors (teleport from the same Aden), go down to the river and run right along the river until we meet the mob Harit Lizardman Shaman.

  7. Outlaw Forest (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Oel Mahum Witch Doctor (lv. 55) until you have: Herb of Oel Mahum.

We knock out the second item, then teleport to Oren and from there to the Outlaw Forest, and look for the mob known to everybody, Oel Mahum Witch Doctor.

  8. Hardin's Academy. Talk to Witch Athrea. You receive: Blood of Eva.

After getting the third ingredient we return to Oren and from there go to Hardin's Private Academy, and quickly run to a huge tree not far from the entrance to the academy. Under the tree stands another witch, Witch Athrea. We ask her about the fourth ingredient. The witch, without thinking long, summons 16 chests before us; killing them, you have to find the four right ones, which yell "BINGO", and 1 minute is given for that. Having found the needed chests, we turn to Athrea again, and she gives the remaining item. If you did not make it in time, talk to Athrea again: she asks for a little adena and summons the chests anew. Anybody willing can help to beat the chests.

  9. Forest of Evil. Return to Witch Kalis. Hand over: Herb of Harit, Herb of Vanor, Herb of Oel Mahum, Blood of Eva. You receive: Voucher of Faith.

All four items we quickly carry to Kalis and hand to the clan leader. The clan leader gives everything to the witch and gets Voucher of Faith and a potion. We drink the antidote (the debuff is removed).

  10. Town of Giran. Return to Sir Kristof Rodemai in the Warriors Guild. Hand over: Voucher of Faith. You receive: Alliance Manifesto.

The voucher we carry to the start NPC in Giran and get the manifesto. Congratulations, you can raise the clan to the fourth level.

  11. Attention! If you do the quest not the way I do but in several groups, then the clan member who was the first to knock a quest item out of the mobs must be the one to turn to Witch Athrea.

  12. And lastly some notes in the margins. The debuff takes HP away not very fast, but watch it all the same: while I was beating mobs and teleporting to town, I nearly forgot to heal the leader. The Spellhowler was level 68, and in 20 minutes of buff she managed to knock out all three items (near Aden from the fifth mob; with the Harits I suffered, the item dropped from about the 15th-20th mob; from the doctor it dropped from the first one; the chests I finished without buffs, only drank a little bottle for acumen). There were no problems with the chests: the next target button rules. My last run was a record: 26 minutes for everything, with a Spellhowler of level 46 (no more).

  13. What problems can there be? There can be only one: Kalis does not accept the quest when the clan leader hands in all the quest items. She says something about you being a vile cheater and does not want to finish the quest. Why this happens I do not know; when I did it the first time, that is exactly what I was told. What I was doing then during the pass I no longer remember properly; I remember hanging regeneration and some other buffs on the clan leader, but maybe that is just a coincidence. In any case, if the witch wrote that, you have to die of the poison, delete all the quest items, cancel the quest, take it again in Giran and do it once more. It will not take long; try to do everything by the description. In the last 2 months I did it 4 times, and there were no problems.

Tips

  • Clan level 4 also costs SP; the manifesto is only one of the requirements checked by the clan NPC.

What is your opinion on the current state of affairs? The disintegration of royal authority has been disastrous for the kingdom, with chaos and dissent running rampant throughout the land. Now even the evil spirits are acting with impunity. When your clan becomes stronger, you should join with me to change the world!

(This quest may only be undertaken by a level 3 clan.)

In these difficult times we must call upon a new generation to restore order! All right-thinking young people such as you and your clan must join in this effort if we are to survive.

(This quest may only be undertaken by a level 3 clan.)

Ah, the Alliance Manifesto! Good work! However you mustn't forget that this is only your first step towards changing the world. We still have many daunting tasks ahead of us.

Will you join me in creating a new world order?

  • "I will join you."

What is your opinion on the current state of affairs? The disintegration of royal authority has been disastrous for the kingdom, with chaos and dissent running rampant throughout the land. Now even the evil spirits are acting with impunity.

Why am am wasting time talking to you? I demand to speak with your clan leader!

(This quest may only be undertaken by a clan leader of a level 3 clan.)

I can see that you have what it takes to be a great leader, but to earn the respect of your peers your clan must demonstrate its ability.

How about this? There is a witch named Kalis who lives near the Ivory Tower. She administers a test that determines one's heroism. Those who have passed this test are widely regarded as true heroes. If your clan passes the test, there will be no doubt of your abilities. What do you think? Will you and your clan take the test?

  • "We shall take the test!"
  • "We will not take the test."

Your courage is impressive. Good luck on the test.

Oh well, I understand your reluctance. May you live a long life...

I judged wisely when I selected you. We are of equal caliber, and I'm sure we will become fast friends. Of course this is not to say it will always be so. For now, let's enjoy each other's company. Here, as promised, is the Alliance Manifesto.

There is talk of vagabonds banding together and calling themselves a clan... I hope that is not what you are. Time is short! If you will not prove your abilities, I shall look elsewhere for assistance.

Would you choose to be a star shining brightly in the midst of chaos?

Behold the graves of those who have fallen attempting to do this...

Are you prepared to rest alongside them?

  • "I want to be a star."

You fool! Do you think that you are immortal? The test begins! Are there any among your clan who would die for you?

  • "There is one who will."
  • "There are none who will."

Ah, we shall see... Tell those who would lay down their lives for you to join me at the table of sacrifice! If they are truly loyal they will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives.

Bring me three symbols of loyalty, I will recognize the resolve of you and your clan!

Just as I expected. All talk and no action.

Where is the confidence you so reeked of earlier? No comrades willing to risk their lives, eh?

Unless you bring me three symbols of loyalty, you will never pass the test. In order to obtain the symbols, three of your clan must take an oath of their life at the table of sacrifice and pledge complete loyalty to you.

Your comrades must have firm resolve and unfailing loyalty. In these days of the endless pursuit of profit, these are rare and noble qualities.

Now, do you trust your clan members? Would you bet your life on them? If so, then drink this poison and ask your clan members to gather the ingredients and bring back the Antidote! Here is a list of the ingredients needed for the Antidote. If your comrades can find and bring back all of the ingredients within one hour your life will be saved.

I wonder how hard your clan will try to save your life? Do you care to find out?

  • Drink the poison
  • Do not drink the poison

Tell me, how does the poison taste? Everything growing dark, is it? That would be death coming for you. I fear that soon we will need to add another grave here... Will your comrades find and bring back all the ingredients in time?

Oh, I do hate to see you in such pain. Would you care for some hints?

Herb of Vanor can be obtained from vanor silenos. Herb of Harit can be obtained from Harit Lizardmen. Herb of Ol Mahum can be obtained from Ol Mahums. The Shamans will have the herbs.

In order to obtain the Blood of Eva, you must visit Witch Athrea. She is my younger sister. Some time ago she left for Hardin's Academy to meet with Grand Magus Hardin.

Remember that when your clan members bring back all the ingredients, you must gather them up and bring them to me. I will create the Antidote for you.

Ah, all the ingredients of the Antidote! It has been a long time since this has happened. It is heartening to learn that there are still people like you and your clan with firm resolve and common trust! You are truly the soldiers of the new age! A bright star illuminating the darkness of this time! Please pardon my previous rudeness amd accept this Antidote and mark.

You are a liar and a cheat! Your sort can never become a shining star. You are dead to me now. Do you have regrets? If so, you can start over from the very beginning...

Your time among the living grows short. What has become of your comrades? Will they return in time to save your life?

Let me remind you again, when your clan members bring back all the ingredients, you must gather them and bring them to me personally. I will use them to make the Antidote.

Haven't you already passed my test? Why do you return to my humble abode?

Have you come to punish me for my previous rudeness?

The lives of those who do not know their place often end prematurely. People should always live their lives within the proper boundaries. I don't have time to speak with you. Ask your clan lord to come and see me...

I cannot give the Blood of Eva to just anyone who asks for it! My older sister Kalis would be furious!

If you wish to obtain the Blood of Eva, you must pass the test I will give you.

  • "I will take the test."

You seem quick-witted enough. I will explain the test to you.

It's very simple. I trust you have drawn lots before? Think of this as drawing boxes.

First I will summon 16 boxes. Among them, four boxes are enchanted and shout when they are broken. You must find all the enchanted boxes and break them so that they will shout four times. It is possible to break all the boxes, but there is a time limit. If you cannot break the boxes within the given time, they will all disappear.

Shall we start the game?

  • "Start the game."
  • "I am not ready yet."

Each one of the four enchanted boxes will say "Bingo!" when broken. Funny, huh?

Why are you making a face?

Oh well, keep it in mind. Let's begin!

Are you ready to begin the test? Well, we must wait until those people over there are finished. It shouldn't take long. You would do well to observe them and learn more about the test.

Call upon all your abilities!

What? No boxes? Utter failure!

Well, well, well. I should just throw you out of here, but I'm too soft-hearted for that. You shall have one more chance to take the test, but it will be expensive.

These boxes aren't free, you understand? Give me 10,000 Adena and I will make the boxes again. Is this agreeable?

  • "I will pay you 10,000 Adena."

That isn't enough money! Perhaps you could raise the funds among clan members, catch some monsters, sell your swords, whatever it takes. You should be able to come up with 10,000 Adena in no time!

Would you care to play the game again?

  • "I want to play the game again."

Ah, a quite unexpected success! Well, true to my word, here is the Blood of Eva. Be careful not to break the bottle.

Do you really have the time to stand around gabbing like this? Unless you bring me the ingredients for the Antidote soon, your clan leader will surely die.

Statue Of Offering8 pages

Do you wish to take the test for your clan lord? You should consider your answer carefully. It could cost you your life.

Only those with the firmest resolve should step forward and answer my question.

Would you die for your clan lord? Now, give me an answer!

  • "I will sacrifice my life to prove loyalty to my clan lord."
  • Quit the test

A clan lord cannot take this test.

Haven't you already proven your loyalty?

You lack even the experience to be be killed by this test! Count your blessings! You will live to die another day.

(Only a clan member of level 40 or above can take this test.)

Death shall be your reward. Now prove your loyalty!

Your loyalty is impressive! Now return to your clan lord with your head held high.

...

Does your clan lord truly wish to take the test?
