Proof of Clan Alliance walkthrough

The quest of a clan leader for Proof of Alliance, the item needed to raise a clan from level 3 to 4. It cannot be done alone: three clan members swear loyalty at an altar, the leader drinks poison, and the same three members race to collect four ingredients of the antidote.

The oath

1. Giran Castle Town. Find Sir Kristof Rodemai in the Warriors Guild and take the quest.

2. Forest of Evil. Talk to Witch Kalis.

3. Three clan members come to the Statue Of Offering next to the witch and swear the oath one after another. Each of them receives Symbol of Loyalty; the oath can cost the member his life, so have someone ready to resurrect.

4. Talk to Witch Kalis again.

   The leader takes the poison from Kalis. From this moment the antidote must be ready before the poison kills him.

Four ingredients of the antidote

5. Anghel Waterfall. Hunt Harit Lizardman Shaman (lv. 54) until you have: Herb of Harit.

6. Aden Castle. Hunt Vanor Silenos Shaman (lv. 49) until you have: Herb of Vanor.

7. Outlaw Forest (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Oel Mahum Witch Doctor (lv. 55) until you have: Herb of Oel Mahum.

8. The sworn members collect the herbs. Split up: one goes to each shaman.

9. Hardin's Academy. Talk to Witch Athrea. You receive: Blood of Eva.

   Athrea summons a field of chests. Break them to find the four that answer "Bingo" before the time runs out. If you fail, she starts the game again for a small fee.

10. Forest of Evil. Return to Witch Kalis. You receive: Voucher of Faith.

    The members hand the four ingredients to the leader, and the leader gives them to Kalis.

11. Giran Castle Town. Return to Sir Kristof Rodemai in the Warriors Guild to complete the quest. You receive: Proof of Alliance.

Quest journal

1. Testimony of a Witch

   Quest that must be completed in order to raise clan level to lv. 4. Sir Kristof Rodemai of Giran Castle Town is seeking a clan leader to restore order in the kingdom. Find Sir Rodemai and speak to him. He will say that he cannot join forces with someone whose skills are yet unproven, and recommends you to first attempt Witch Kalis' test. If you complete her test and return, he promises to give the 'Proof of Alliance,' which is needed when expanding the clan's powers and influences. First, go and seek Witch Kalis near the vicinity of the Ivory Tower.

2. Proof of Loyalty

   Witch Kalis says she will test whether the clan members will give up their lives for their clan leader and says to prove the faithfulness of three clan members on the altar of sacrifice. If you get three marks of faithfulness, you can pass her test.

3. Can They Be Trusted?

   Witch Kalis is testing the trust of the clan leader by asking him to take poison. Before the clan leader dies, the clan members must obtain all the ingredients on the antidote's ingredient list. Of those ingredients, blood of Eva can be only obtained by meeting Witch Athrea.

   You have passed the test of Witch Kalis and received a Voucher of Faith. Now, go to Giran Castle Town and meet with Sir Kristof Rodemai, a true hero. He is waiting for your return.
