In Search of Cloth

In Search of Cloth is a one-time, party quest in Lineage 2 Scryde for characters of level 60+. It starts with Radia in Town of Giran.

Radia says that the ingredients she needs haven't arrived yet. She asks you to go to the Town of Gludio and check on her delivery.

In Search of Cloth walkthrough

The quest In Search of Cloth, one of the three errands inside the quest Make Formal Wear. Start level: 60. Start NPC: Trader Radia. Not repeatable. Reward: Mysterious Cloth.

  1. Town of Giran. Find Radia in the weapon and armor shop and take the quest.

Armor Trader Radia is in the armor shop of Giran.

  2. Town of Gludio. Talk to Accessory Merchant Varan.

Everything is simple here: the saleswoman sends you to Gludio, to the trader Varan, who is in the grocery shop of the town, well, where all sorts of phials are sold, next to the smithy. Talk to the NPC and return to Giran.

  3. Town of Giran. Return to Radia in the weapon and armor shop.

  4. Ivory Tower. Talk to Accessory Merchant Ralford.

Next Trader Radia sends you to the Ivory Tower, to the underground trade zone (the basement, simply put), where we talk to Trader Ralford.

  5. Sea of Spores (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Trisalim Spider (lv. 45), Trisalim Tarantula (lv. 46) until you have: Spinneret ×10.

This lady sends us to the location Sea of Spores to hunt the mobs Trisalim Spider and Trisalim Tarantula until we get 10 spinneret items from them. The drop chance is very good, not 100% but close to it; by my observations, somewhere around 90%.

  6. Ivory Tower. Return to Accessory Merchant Ralford. Hand over: Spinneret ×10. You receive: Skein of Yarn.

We knock out all the items and return to Trader Ralford, who sends you back to Giran.

  7. Town of Giran. Return to Radia in the weapon and armor shop to complete the quest. Hand over: Skein of Yarn, Suede ×3,000, Thread ×5,000. You receive: Mysterious Cloth.

There we talk to Armor Trader Radia; she asks for resources, 5000 thread and 3000 suede; we give the resources and get Mysterious Cloth. This quest ends, the first piece of clothing is ours.

Welcome, stranger! What can I do for you?

Nice ring! Are you here to propose to me?

Just kidding! Don't tell me you thought I was serious!?

Oh, you're here for Leikar's order? Sorry, it hasn't come in yet. Maybe you should check with Varan in the Town of Gludio. I've been expecting a shipment from him.

  • "OK."

Welcome! What can I do for you?

I'm sorry, but if you're not expecting an order, you'll need to come back later. I'm too busy now.

(A Signet Ring is required for this quest.)

Leikar's order isn't ready because the materials haven't arrived yet. You'll need to check back later.

(This quest may only be undertaken by characters of level 60 or above.)

I would've checked with Varan myself if I wasn't so busy. Go ask him why the materials aren't here yet.

What are you still doing here? If you want the order, you'll have to check with Varan and find out where the materials are!

Welcome back! What did Varan have to say for himself?

  • "He apologized."

Well, it looks like I'll need to find a new supplier. Ralford is more reliable. He can get what I need. He's at the Ivory Tower in Oren. I'll let him know you're coming.

Please get the ingredients from Ralford at the Ivory Tower.

Excellent! Can I have them?

  • "Here you go."

You haven't heard from Ralford? I need spidersilk, 3000 Suedes and 5000 threads. Please hurry.

Yes, your fabric is ready! Let me get it for you.

Here it is! Isn't it nice? You can really make something nice with this. Have a safe journey!

Where are the ingredients? I can't make the cloth without them!

Welcome! Radia told me you'd be coming. Are you here for the spidersilk, thread and suede? Sorry, we're all out! You can probably get some thread and suede from travelers, but as for the spidersilk, that's another matter! I can make some for you if you help me!

  • "I'll help you."

In the Sea of Spores, there are spiders called Trisalim Spiders and Trisalim Tarantulas. Please bring me 10 Spinneret from them and I'll make spidersilk for you.

Wonderful! Give me the Spinneret and I'll make spidersilk for you.

  • "Here they are."

This isn't enough! I need more.

Thank you. Please wait here.

Here's the spidersilk you asked for. Radia asked for more than just this, however. It shouldn't be too hard for you... She needs 3000 suede and 5000 thread...

Radia needs spidersilk, 3000 Suedes and 5000 threads. Please take it to her.

Ah, you mean Radia's order? Well, I haven't gotten the materials yet. The goods she wants have been rather scarce of late, making them difficult to obtain.

  • When can I get it then?

Tell her I'm sorry I couldn't fill the order on time, and that I accept responsibility for the breach of Contract.

Please tell Radia that I won't make a mistake like this again.
