Test of Sagittarius
Test of Sagittarius is a one-time, solo quest in Lineage 2 High Five for characters of level 39+. It starts with Bernard in Hunters Village.
Hamil is an amazing archer! He was named Sagittarius at the age of 20! Defeat him and you'll gain his title, the best archer in the whole kingdom!
Walkthrough
The third mark for the archers: Hawkeye, Silver Ranger and Phantom Ranger, open from level 39. Hamil of Floran Village leads an investigation into a missing hunter. It ends with a duel against an evil spirit that can be killed only with a restored quest bow, plain shots and wooden arrows.
Runes in the ant nest
Start the quest with Bernard (Hunters Village). You receive: Bernard's Introduction.
Talk to Hamil (Floran Village). You receive: Hamil's 1st Letter.
Talk to Sir Aron Tanford (Ol Mahum Checkpoint).
Hunt Ant (lv. 30), Ant Captain (lv. 31), Ant Overseer (lv. 32), Ant Patrol (lv. 34), Ant Guard (lv. 35), Noble Ant (lv. 37), Noble Ant Leader (lv. 38) until you have: Hunter's 1st Rune ×10. Where: The Ant Nest.
Return to Hamil (Floran Village). You receive: Hamil's 2nd Letter.
The snake talisman
Talk to Vokian (Town of Giran).
Hunt Breka Orc Shaman (lv. 34), Breka Orc Overlord (lv. 35) until you have: Hunter's 2nd Rune ×10. Where: Breka's Stronghold.
Ten runes turn into Talisman of Snake.
Return to Vokian (Town of Giran).
Return to Hamil (Floran Village). You receive: Hamil's 3rd Letter.
Crescent Moon Bow
Talk to Gauen (Ivory Tower).
Hunt Manashen Gargoyle (lv. 40) until you have: Manashen's Horn. Where: Ivory Tower.
Hunt Marsh Spider (lv. 34) until you have: Reinforced Bowstring. Where: Cruma Tower.
Hunt Marsh Stakato Worker (lv. 31), Marsh Stakato Soldier (lv. 33), Marsh Stakato Drone (lv. 35) until you have: Stakato Chitin. Where: Cruma Tower.
Hunt Road Scavenger (lv. 37) until you have: Mithril Clip. Where: Death Pass.
Return to Gauen (Ivory Tower). You receive: Crescent Moon Bow.
Kadesh
Return to Hamil (Floran Village).
Hunt Leto Lizardman (lv. 35), Leto Lizardman Archer (lv. 36), Leto Lizardman Soldier (lv. 37), Leto Lizardman Warrior (lv. 38), Leto Lizardman Shaman (lv. 39), Leto Lizardman Overlord (lv. 40). Where: Plains of the Lizardmen.
Kill lizardmen until Serpent Demon Kadesh appears.
Kill Serpent Demon Kadesh (lv. 41) to get: Talisman of Kadesh.
Equip Crescent Moon Bow and finish him with ordinary shots. The bow takes only wooden arrows, and a kill made with a skill does not count.
Return to Hamil (Floran Village) to complete the quest. You receive: Mark of Sagittarius.
Tips
- Each of the four bow parts is a single rare drop, so the materials take longer than the numbers suggest. The marsh spiders and stakatos are around Cruma Tower, the manashen gargoyles in the crater of the Ivory Tower and the road scavengers in Death Pass.
- Buy wooden arrows before the last fight and weaken Kadesh with your own bow first, then switch to the quest bow for the final shots.
