Delicious Top Choice Meat

Delicious Top Choice Meat is a repeatable, party quest in Lineage 2 C5: Oath of Blood for characters of level 65–73. It starts with Tunatun in Wild Beast Reserve.

Meat tastes best when it's properly mature, but the animals get so fierce when they get older their meat fetches the highest price!

The quest Delicious Top Choice Meat is taken and done in the Beast Farm. It is not only a quest for resources: it is also needed for the third class quest of the gladiator (Succession to the Legend, Duelist).

  1. Wild Beast Reserve (teleport from Rune Township). Take the quest from Beast Herder Tunatun.

    He is found like this: when you TP into the location, look around, and in the distance you will see a structure that is a leaky water tower. Around the tower several little sheds are set in a circle, and Tunatun stands next to one of them. The quest is taken from level 65. Tunatun will ask you to bring him 120 pieces of quality meat, which is obtained from fattened animals.

  2. Talk to Feed Seller.

    Here we buy the feed (Golden Spice or Crystal Spice): the animals have to be fed up to the x2 stage. Buy Golden Spice or Crystal Spice here, and buy a lot: every feeding uses one.

  3. Hunt Alpen Kookaburra (lv. 65), Alpen Buffalo (lv. 67), Alpen Cougar (lv. 69) until you have: Top Quality Meat ×120.

    Of course we have other business on the farm, but there will be x2 mobs anyway, since it is from them that you can spoil the recipes for DC boots and the Majestic helmet, so slowly but surely you will farm these 120 items. Use the spice on a young beast and it changes shape. Feed it until it has grown twice, then kill it: only a fully grown animal gives the meat.

  4. Return to Beast Herder Tunatun to complete the quest.

    Having farmed all 120 pieces, we return to the NPC and get a reward we choose ourselves; the list is this: Mold Glue, 15 pieces; Asofe, 15 pieces; Thons, 15 pieces; Mold Lubricant, 10 pieces; Enria, 10 pieces; Mold Hardener, 5 pieces. Not much, of course, all the more so for spoilers, but, as they say, we give what we have.

Tips

  • For gladiators doing the class quest it is enough to get just one piece of meat, but do not cancel this quest until you have handed the piece to the NPC, or the item will disappear. After handing it in you can cancel.
  • On the farm you can also do a simple little quest about raising trained animals, Bring Up With Love.
  • Not every feeding makes the beast grow, and a second player can kill the animal you raised. Farm in a quiet corner of the pasture and keep the spice on a hotkey.
