The Wishing Potion

The Wishing Potion is a repeatable, solo quest in Lineage 2 C3: Rise of Darkness for characters of level 30+. It starts with Matild in Ivory Tower.

The Wishing Potion walkthrough

A repeatable quest of the Ivory Tower from level 30: the alchemist Matild studies a potion that grants wishes. First you find her secret book and eight ingredients, then she brews the potion whenever you bring the ingredients again. A wish may bring wealth, a crown, love or wisdom - or monsters.

  1. Ivory Tower. Take the quest from Alchemist Matild.

  2. Cruma Marshlands (teleport from Town of Dion). Kill Secret Keeper Tree (lv. 47) to get: Secret Book of Potion.

    The Secret Keeper Tree stands among stone ruins in the far south-west corner of the Cruma swamp.

  3. Ivory Tower. Return to Alchemist Matild. Hand over: Secret Book of Potion. You receive: 1st Potion Recipe, 2nd Potion Recipe.

  4. Giran Castle. Hunt Amber Basilisk (lv. 30), Turak Bugbear (lv. 31), Turak Bugbear Warrior (lv. 33) until you have: Amber Scale, Bugbear Blood.

  5. Tanor Canyon (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Silenos (lv. 30) until you have: Silenos Horn.

  6. Cruma Tower (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Horror Mist Ripper (lv. 27) until you have: Horror Ectoplasm.

  7. Dion Arena. Hunt Glass Jaguar (lv. 27) until you have: Glass Eye.

  8. Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Ant Soldier (lv. 35), Ant Warrior Captain (lv. 36) until you have: Ant Soldier Aphid.

  9. Hunt Tyrant (lv. 35), Tyrant Kingpin (lv. 36) until you have: Tyrant's Chitin.

  10. Orc Barracks (teleport from Gludin Village). Hunt Whispering Wind (lv. 30) until you have: Wind Soulstone.

  11. Ivory Tower. Return to Alchemist Matild to complete the quest. You receive: Matild's Orb, Wish Potion.

    Matild gives her orb, so from now on you only gather the ingredients, and the first Wish Potion.

Tips

  • The wish for wealth gives adena - sometimes a lot - or calls monsters that may drop gold bars. The wish to be a king may give a Certificate of Royalty or an Ancient Crown, or call a line of ever stronger monsters.
  • The wish for love may bring a fairy with a gift such as the Necklace of Grace, or succubi; the wish for wisdom gives spellbooks or a chest that gives advice.

  1. Secret Book of Alchemy

    Alchemist Matild has long wished to create a mysterious potion. She has recently discovered the location of its recipe, and asks you to bring the ingredients to her. She gives you the "Book of Alchemy", along with instructions for locating the mysterious potion. Hunt the secret keeper tree.

  2. Ingredients for a Potion

    Find and bring back the ingredients on the list from Alchemist Matild, which are necessary to make the wish potion. Hunt amber basilisks, whispering winds, glass jaguars, horror mist rippers, silenos, ant recruits, ant warrior captains, tyrants, tyrant kingpins, Turak bugbears and Turak bugbear warriors.
