Test of the Searcher walkthrough

The trial of the searchers for the second class transfer, for Rogues, Elven Scouts, Assassins and Scavengers from level 39: Luther of the Hunters Village sends you after the Delu lizardmen, a torn map and the treasure it points to. The reward is the Mark of Searcher.

1. Hunters Village. Find Master Luther in the Warriors Guild and take the quest.

   

   

2. Floran Village. Find Captain Alex at the town gate.

   

   

3. Find Militiaman Leirynn by the bridge.

   

   

4. Tanor Canyon (teleport from Town of Dion). Hunt Delu Lizardman Shaman (lv. 35) until you have: Delu Totem ×10.

   

5. Floran Village. Return to Militiaman Leirynn by the bridge.

6. Giran Harbor (teleport from Giran Castle Town). Kill Delu Chief Kalkis (lv. 37) to get: Chief Kalki's Fang, Strange Map.

   

7. Floran Village. Return to Militiaman Leirynn by the bridge.

8. Return to Captain Alex at the town gate.

9. Town of Gludio. Find Drunkard Borys next to the smithy.

   

   

10. Spider Nest (teleport from Dark Elf Village). Talk to Tyra.

    

    

11. Sea of Spores (teleport from Town of Oren). Hunt Giant Fungus (lv. 40) until you have: Red Spore Dust ×10.

    

12. Spider Nest (teleport from Dark Elf Village). Return to Tyra.

13. Town of Gludio. Return to Drunkard Borys next to the smithy.

14. Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Talk to Bodyguard Jax.

    

    

15. Death Pass. Hunt Road Scavenger (lv. 37) until you have: 1st Torn Map Piece ×4.

    

16. Execution Grounds. Hunt Hangman Tree (lv. 35) until you have: 2nd Torn Map Piece ×4.

    

17. Wasteland (teleport from Gludin Village). Return to Bodyguard Jax.

18. Floran Village. Return to Captain Alex at the town gate.

19. Floran Agricultural Area. Talk to Tree.

    

    

20. Talk to Strong Wooden Chest.

    The map leads to a tree and a strong wooden chest under it.

21. Floran Village. Return to Captain Alex at the town gate.

22. Hunters Village. Return to Master Luther in the Warriors Guild to complete the quest. You receive: Mark of Searcher.

1. Step 1

   Quest to acquire occupation change item, 'Mark of the Searcher.' Master Luther explains that the Mark of the Searcher is a recognition of one's 'uncovering' skills. Hunters, Elven Rangers, and Mercenaries are challenge the Test of the Searcher. In order to pass the test, you must receive a recommendation from the once best Scout of the kingdom, Alex. Visit Captain Alex in the village of Floran.
